There is no legal or illegal thing here. It's about validity of shadi as per hindu act. He didn't marry both at a time. So madhav should be kept in jail as he left his wife thought dead and married another one.

@red Vidya's marriage to already married Madhav is illegal, Shivani was alive, didn't disappear even for years, when they got married. It's clear bigamy, Madhav woke up from coma/unconscious state after accident and KP got him married to Vidya showing him death certificate of Shivani. Kaveri Poddar who is a witness to their marriage was also a witness to Shivani being alive. Conjual relationship even for 50 years in illegal marriage doesn't turn it to legal.

Vidya's marriage is legal. When authorities provide you a death certificate accepting your missing spouse is dead the other one can remarry without any complications. I am saying this because this was used by kerala govt to help the families of missing fisherman during okhi cyclone to get their benefits. There was many young men gone missing, it also allowed their widows to remarry without waiting for years.....

One can prove that KP was behind all this, how will Vidya's involvement be proved? Get proof that Vidya knew about all this and was an equal participant and then court will think of something.

This doesn't come under bigamy because Shivani was "legally dead" when Madhav married Vidya.

If you're thinking it, due to vidhya's reaction when dadi told her shivani was alive, it does not prove any of her involvement in producing fake death certificate, but only proves she was scared of loosing Armaan .

@bold Abhir was also Abhir Sharma, son of Abhinav Sharma and Akshara Goenka, as legal documents indicated. Legal documents are legal even if they are fake or forged.

My college friend who is very very close to me married and has no conjugal relationship as hubby is imp. Within an year she came out of that bond. Conjugal relationship plays important role in divorces.
