Kiara Advani has shared her first subtle glimpse of motherhood by offering a sneak peek of her daughter Saraayah on social media. The actor, who welcomed her baby girl with husband Sidharth Malhotra last year, posted a short video on Instagram Stories that gently introduced the moment to fans.
In the video, Kiara is heard speaking to her daughter inside a room, with Saraayah remaining mostly out of frame. Flipping through a magazine featuring her Vogue interview, Kiara playfully says, “You want to read mama's magazine? Okay, let's see where is mama!” As she turns the pages, her photograph appears, followed by a fleeting glimpse of Saraayah’s tiny fingers and her soft voice. Kiara then asks, “This is! Who is that? Mama?”
She captioned the clip, “Me and my mini enjoying our Monday magazine read,” keeping the moment intimate while sharing just enough for fans to connect.

The couple chose to stay away from the public eye during the early months of parenthood. They later revealed their daughter’s name in November through a joint Instagram post, describing her as “our princess” and “our divine blessing.”
Since then, Kiara has occasionally offered glimpses into her new life, mostly through quiet family moments, while maintaining privacy around her daughter’s identity. The recent video marks the first time fans heard Saraayah’s voice.
In her Vogue interview, Kiara spoke about navigating motherhood alongside her career, describing the experience as grounding, while remaining careful not to overshare.
On the professional front, Kiara is preparing for the release of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film stars Yash in the lead and is scheduled to release in theatres on March 19, 2026.
Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, the film will also release in dubbed versions across several Indian languages. Kiara plays Nadia, alongside Nayanthara as Ganga, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair.
For now, the brief glimpse stood out for its restraint, capturing a private moment without turning motherhood into a public spectacle entirely.
