I dunno whats "privileged background " . Anyone who is rich should be happy by default is the biggest myth. As if all problems r resolved on their own if people have money...The measure of happiness and contentment is healthy relationships. Imo rich and poor , mature and immature , everyone lives life the same way and face the challenges of life the same way too.

we don't know whats the problem with harsh , it's wrong to assume things right now. Also it's wrong to say "all" arranged marriages in "india" are like harsh manjaris. Please ! "Deeper" connection kya hota hai? Couples in any society may be abusive but the reason is not love or arranged marriage . When basic respect for others is lacking , shadi kya karegi? Harsh is a selfish being who cares for money, fame , his status , his prestige, more than family.arohi is exactly the same. We shouldn't be blaming the spouse or arranged marriage system.

Akshu and abhimanyu had traumatic childhood. Not arohi. Bec of the trauma faced by abhimanyu, watching a failed marriage , abusive father , his mind has been conditioned to believe that this is the way to Survive...his father tries to control him, he goes berserk. He roars back, which he was unable to do in childhood..he sometimes ape harsh, what he has seen of him since childhood. But he is manjaris son too and she tries to instill good manners in him from time to time.. she tries to correct him..he is also influenced by her..more than harsh.

Akshu was bullied for so many years , but her character is a little inconsistent to say that she has any issue..anyways , against arohi her mind is conditioned to put her first in everything . It's never like "why didn't goenkas resolve their issues " . It's like saying "why so and so is traumatized" .

My problem is not their childhood trauma but how the writer deals with it..what do the characters do with it..how they grow..how the arc develops...in itv it's useless to expect but chalo..may be at times, they will hit the nail on the head.

For anyone who can't differentiate between harsh and abhimanyu , harsh is abusive and disrespectful towards his wife who is innocent , week and she is the one who loves him. Abhimanyu is disrespectful towards harsh who is abusive towards his wife. Harsh is abusing manjari while abhimanyu is protecting her and his own rights. He has a right to live his life his way..if he makes mistakes or does something wrong , it's on him.ye harsh ki problem nai hai

Pehle tilak main he has already said sorry. Even told her politely i only love akshu. Even after she made it look like he is the culprit by hiding the fact abhi asked her to delete those messages.

He respected her as much he can.she accepted his marriage proposal even after knowing he only loves akshu. On the other end akshu supported her sister as much she can. She hided the truth.. the thing went till marriage. She would have even let this marriage happen but abhi got to know about truth so she can't hide it anymore.. behan ka pyar hogaya.. usne kiya jo usse ho saktha tha.. even though it was wrong.

Arohi who even after knowing everything from both the ends she accepted marriage proposals jhoot pe jhoot bola. She is better thank abhira looks wierd and stupid to me..

Aur harsh ki toh bath hi na karo.. even though i really wish to see abhi and harsh bonding but only after harsh realizes his mistakes and apologizes to everyone. He will be a culprit to me untill he do that.

He has done so many things which no sane husband or sane father can do.

This whole thread sums up why I love Arohi so much. And why I started disliking the way Abhimanyu is shaped up especially after that tilak scene. Just because he's not in love with Arohi, he doesn't have any freaking rights to disrespect her. Because in each and every scene, even when Arohi tries to normally speak to him... All he does is scrunch up his face in disgust attitude and taunts her either directly or indirectly. I literally want someone mainly Arohi to give back to him for being the sadistic brat... I don't even want her to give a damn to him. Let him worship his only Akshu Akshu (I love AbhiRa ❤️. I loved them so much before Tilak that I binge watched whole season. But post tilak, I couldn't connect with them anymore. Their constant importance to only each other is just Killing the essence of their story). Also, I absolutely agree with Abhimanyu being the same as his father. As much as rebel these children maybe, the way Abhimanyu disrespects or dislikes or hates his father is absolute loathsome. Maybe there is a background story. But until I can understand the depth of it... I can't help but wonder at his bias towards his relationship with his father.

P S: I can't believe I'm saying all these things on Abhimanyu whom I loved once endlessly. But... Truth is truth... I'm not liking his characterisation nowadays... There is no growth in his character... All I see is him being the ardent worshipper of Akshu and his ma...

Idk I couldn't feel most of these tracks they brought in to create drama fit into the kind of family they otherwise portrayed the Goenkas as..Even now with Akshu and Aarohi.. And like you mentioned somewhere, whatever negative things they they get their characters to do, they still maintain some humanness that makes them relatable. So I guess we continue to see and get invested and spend time analyzing.

With Abhimanyu from what's been shown so far, I don't know if Harsh would've really done any extreme things with his mother. Or maybe we're sposed to read between the lines and understand that he did. Whatever. But what you say about real life kids witnessing abuse and all that, yes. True. Question is how far this applies to Abhi.

You know there was this movie dhadkan with akshay Kumar..in that movie akshays step mom and her kids used to be so rude and unkind to him..but he would always show respect and kindness to them ..and when his wife questioned him why is he being so nice to them..he said that he’s hoping they’ll see his kindness and change one day ..and eventually the stepmom did. Personally my dad always used to say that we should show rude people that we are bigger than them..so we don’t need to meet rudeness with rudeness..if people are rude..you carry on being respectful in your words..you don’t need to stoop down to their level. So I would have preferred an Abhimanyu who had this class,, where he was always dignified and in control..the way he goes around kicking and breaking things is so undignified and unclassy. A man of his level of education who gets so much respect professionally should have more class and social etiquette 🤷🏻‍♀️

I share mutual feelings. The way he behaved with his father and Arohi is enough example to see how brat he's... His qualified education Haven't thought him a basic sense of respecting his parent or a girl... I really wonder where his character is heading. In real life people won't be as such. I know, love is important and partner is a priority. But that doesn't make any sense to forget all others.. he's always behind Akshu.. I would like to brag in Harsh's voice... Akshu ke pallu hi Abhi ka sab kuch ban Gaya hai... And this irritated me as I love seeing Abhi as a whole and not just confined to his love.

Akshu definitely had traumatic childhood where Arohi mentally harassed her..abused her physically even...Karmas will certainly get back to Arohi...Even after grown up she tortured Akshu...every second asking for payment to give up her family, lover everything for the situation where Akshu wasn't responsible...

Even Akshu getting panic attacks...Arohi doesn't show mercy..She is ruthless...I don't have good feelings for Arohi...I feel nothing when she gets insulted...Karmas do come back in some or other way...Abhi and Mahima are doing the honours...

I will wait to comment on Abhimaniyu...because his past is yet to reveal..
