Res...Edited
I have majority of times found that my thoughts are almost in line with yours but today I beg to differ...

With yesterdays episode the Cv's( n ur words too) made it look like the reason why IshRa didn't consummate was solely Raman's inconsistent libido...and Ishita was made to feel that she is not at all appealing to Raman as woman...When blaming the 7.30 slot is a trend in this forum, why is yesterdays episode an exclusion?...Is it just bcoz it dared to speak about sexual relation between a husband and wife at least this openly? But then why is the man in a relation solely being blamed for inconsistent libido and not the woman also who is an equal partner in the relation?

You mentioned some instances where Ishita never backed off when Raman wanted to get physical with her but was hindered at the right time by countless haddis...So, was Raman deliberately getting intimate with her only when he wanted the haddis to interrupt them? As you said there would have been number of nights where the couple was undisturbed...Why was it only Raman who should have made a move on those nights? I have always found the excuse that Ishita is inexperienced in this matter, lame...I don't think any girl, before marriage, will attend coaching classes for it or should have a trial n error...And moreover, Ishita is that wife who became bold and sensuous exclusively for her husband, twice, that too at a time when they did not confess their love in words...So, what was stopping her from taking a step after having admitted that they love each other deeply? So, does that mean that Raman is not appealing as a man to Ishita? Very recently the two times she made an attempt was at a a time when he was under the hypochondriac effect and that is known to her ... also she have seen Raman getting frustrated when they were interrupted always... So, for me both are to be blamed for an inconsistent libido...

A lot of them (including me) are unhappy with Ishita-Doc convo...But as u said, even if I assume that it was just Ishita's attempt to avoid the possible very direct questions that can be expected from a fertility specialist, I will not be happy 100%...later she was badly hurt by the rudest words that a woman can hear, from none other than her husband's ex and mother of his two kids...But from her words out of frustration (to her sisters), it is also clear that the very emotional bonding she boasted of to share with Raman was also shaken by a third person's words... All the love, care and concern he gave her as a wife, almost went down the drain when she said that, to him, she was just a governess for his kids...For not even once was she shown to be unhappy when Raman said about taking the next step for a baby(when there are a lot of instances also where he made her desirable as a woman too)... but instead even she was instantly ready to do IT just bcoz Ruhi wanted a bro or sis because according to her they have already passed that stage where they physically desire each other...So, why all of a sudden, this change in thought process...

So, for me the episode was just about some awful dialogues and bad execution...The execution, to show that a happy sex life is needed for a healthy husband-wife relation, is quite disappointing... I say specifically the episode because Cv's do have the habit of giving good episodes too...

And today I guess they are going to do almost the same with Raman...Anyways if at all (keeping least hopes) the Cv's aim is to transfer the frustration building up inside IshRa to end up in a fiery passionate intimacy then I only hope that it should just not be that...There should also be some very serious sensible convo to overcome the points that put their emotional bonding also in question just by the words of an outsider...

Not meant to offend in any way , just my POV...

Raman equally deserves this lecture cos more than anyone he always spoke about doing IT just for the sake of babies. Yes he wanted to have babies for her to feel the motherhood but leaving all that behind did he really take the initiative normally even once? During holi, He took the step but announced that as promised we should take our relationship ahead bacause Adi will join us soon. Second when she had a fracture, He approached her that night but that was to get the legal document concerning Ruhi's custody to get Adi to his side. After Vandu's baby was born both once again spoke for babies and similarly happened after Rohit came home. If Ishitha required a round of lecture from Shagun for whatever reason it maybe which the CVs tried justifying, someone should clearly drill sense in to Raman about the fact that babies are not everything. Even after knowing the fact there are very little chances to have babies, harping on and on about it would only create discomfort in a relationship which is what has happened between IshRa.

Bang on, Aru! Raman needs to be shaken too, and in a similar manner. Doing IT is not just for babies, he, out of all the people, should know that.

This track also reminds me of Vandu's pregnancy. She got pregnant accidentally, which means Vandu & Bala are a normal couple who were doing IT like it was a part of their daily life 😆 😆 And here we have IshRa, whose physical relationship has been the talk of town ever since they got married, from the Param kaand till today, and they haven't budged an inch 😆 😆

Aani, wonderful post👏👏👏. It is always a treat to read your posts and the title is so apt😆😆Agree with the most part especially her convo with the doctor.

Before I update, want to let you know that I haven't seen the episode and do not intend to watch it anytime soon. My writeup is purely based on the WU. So, please to correct me if I misunderstood any part.😳

As you said, the truth had to come out one day or the other and the mirror had to be shown to IshRa. I say IshRa because of the simple reason that this is something that needs to be heard by both and not just Ishita. Nevertheless, I can't digest the fact that this came through that one person from whom Ishita shouldn't have heard - Shagun. I agree that there cannot be a better person who knows what Raman is in this aspect of their life but that doesn't mean she could boast about it in front of his current wife whatever her intentions may be. There could be 2 possible outcomes of this - either Ishita would consider taking their relationship ahead all by herself or she would drown in this insult and could go back into her shell. We all know how Ishita is insecure about her womanhood and her inhibitions when it comes to intimacy. It was after many endeavours by both Raman and Ishita that she is at this stage that now she is herself willing to plunge into the territory which was considered unbreachable by her at one point of time. These words by Shagun could result in her insecurities coming to the fore again which she overcame with great efforts and backtrack her steps. I would want to look at this perspective merely due to Shagun's statement as to how Raman doesn't desire Ishita as a woman and haven't touched her over the past one and half years whereas with Shagun, he was all over her.

I see traces of this in the latter part of the episode where she says that Raman isn't interested in taking her to the party as she feels he doesn't fancy her. This stems from the hurtful words hurled at her by Shagun. Until now, she knows Raman wants her and might have never even considered all the baby talks that he does whenever he speaks about taking their relationship to the next level. But after this, what if she starts believing that Raman wants to do IT only for the sake of baby? What if she really feels that he doesn't crave for her as a woman? Wouldn't that be disastrous? Also, when it comes to ex-es there would be a sense of insecurity or uncomfortableness associated whether it is a man or a woman. So, Ishita would always be anxious around her. When such a woman is speaking to her about something which is lacking in her life, there are bound to be unforeseen consequences which could prove to be catastrophic.

If it was from someone like Vandita, then the chances of Ishita backtracking would almost be nil. And I would have appreciated that. The sisters share an excellent bond and if the words were a little harsh and rude too, they would do only good. It's just that I can't make myself to hear them from Shagun and that is my only complaint.😳

Shagun's words though harsh were required. And only Shagun could make Ishita angry and rebellious. If they had come from her sister etc in form of a lecture it wouldn't have made any impact on Ishita.

As for what Ishita aside to the doctor, previously I too would search a deeper meaning to the dialogues. But later I realised most of the time the characters literally ment what they said.. 😆

Awesome post :) I liked d epi, Ishita badly needed this wake up call and as much bizarre as it looks when all this comes from shagun, as you said she's d only one could pull d trigger. It has affected Ishita at d right place, now hope they'll give a proper closure.

This is a very different take on the episode and the conversations Aani...Kudos for taking that effort to post it for us.👍🏼
I dont know if I wanted SHagun to become a mahaan all of a sudden and do all this act just to make Ishra unite as husband and wife but yes, as you said, someone had to do it and we should thank God that they didnt make Ruhi say all that. Given the history of YHM and its so called 'different matured' show tag, we shouldnt be surprised by that too.

Anyways, I have similar questions of why Raman never makes a move on that direction. Ishita's conversation with the doctor was just to reveal or give a little insight into why they havent consummated so far. Obviously, she couldnt have told the doctor about the silly reasons of why it failed each time they tried to do it...CVs ko hi silly lag raha hoga.

And yes, Ishita never once tried to shy away or protest to his moves. Every single time, they were stopped by some interruption from the family and it had nothing to do with her not cooperating with him.

And Raman needs a big lecture too about why he chooses to be in a boot camp[As Paru terms it]. Why isnt he the same Raman who used to be all over Shagun? Why does he want to do it just for the sake of having another baby? Whats stopping him from just doing IT? He needs a lecture just to make him introspect into his own line of thoughts about the idea of making love to his own wife whom he vouches to love more than his own life? 😃 Now that Shagun did it for Ishita, probably Ashok can do that lecture and advice to Raman...😉

Lets just hope that all this is an effort to close the loops they left open, and things that were stopped midway, abruptly 😆😉

Beautiful write up Aani... After Saturday's epi, i didn't have courage at sit at 7.30 last night... But my bad luck, it turned out to be fabulous... Yes, i can't stand this Shagun but i will also agree that she is making YHM interesting... Unless she becomes surrogate mom, i can put up with her.

First of all, i am amazed at the fact that cv's managed to show bold content at this slot once again. As you quoted, Ishita has already made the move and responded when Raman made the move. Even after that, things are not working between them. Raman desires this woman but somewhere, he faltered in thinking that Ishita needs more time when Ishita is waiting for him to make the move. This small MU is never going to end until someone blurts its out. Shagun gave that much needed push. I don't think its for someone or the other here. Basically, it was a brilliant move. Let us see if cv's manage to weave a beautiful track.

This track still indicates how Ishita wants her kid in her womb. Hope they manage to show it.
