I do agree with u on this. Sometimes I feel stories need not have a deeper meaning all the time. Sometimes to make the story look special it feels like devoid of any logic. Simple things like Mihika putting coffee on Ashok's legal papers cant ashok make another copy 😆 Cant she tell at least Mihir about it to avoid the confusion later, but she chooses to remain quiet so that we can see an intense drama later. 😆 Then Ashok spilling coffee on Mihikas phone (I found it so juvenile. 😆) nMihika crying that her phone is damaged n she cant show that Monica clip 😛. Well this story when EK launched she said its for " matured Indian audiences" 😆 😳. Any urban person wud know what happens when coffee or water spills on ur phone 😆.

.

Ahem these are legal papers .. which need to be registered & notarised .. also stamp papers ( believe me its not simple to get Rs. 100 stamp paper in India ... its not always readily available) need to be procured from a courthouse .. its not as simple as reprinting the paper ..
This as Suraj rightly said .. could take days ..

sometimes in our need to look for ILLOGIC in every daily soap since it comes from the Indian telly land .. we actually miss out on LOGIC ..

Kostin ... did Mihika say she would not be able to use the clip in the Phone (i must've missed that dialog) .. also isn't she still using the same phone ... 😲

Vyas,

When the writers DONT want to move the story along, they both are said to be wallowing in self pity of hurt and pain, at times when she has to gush over Mani like a love sick teenager she is supposed to have gotten over Subbu "looong ago"

I did mention in my posts various times the last week or so, when it comes to accepting or admitting Raman's advances CVs want us to believe she is supposed to be hurting immensely but when it comes to gushing over Subbu, she seems beyond silly to me.

I think with YHM becoming the slot leader and with Sonali admitting people will quit watching after a confession, I DONT think a confession is coming any time soon. They basically do not know how to proceed

This Forum might be excited to watch the after confession track... Raman win against Shagun/Ashok or Ishita winning over Aadi's love, etc.
But MOST audiences Producers bank on will abandon the ship when Raman and ishita consummate. Its a slippery slope they are walking on right now. Theyve been handed a huge prize also, of winning the slot leader ratings. They are completely confused about two things:

"what to do with the mature ISHRA story built over 9 months on a different time slot"

vs.

"Trying to cater to sanskaari audience, while maintaining the "love" flavor and holding on to the wins of the new time slot"

Very well put Nisha

It is all about convenience or writers

And that is where inconsistency is

It is clear she is not ready for Raman in romantic sense

And reason is betrayal by subbu which means she is not over him

My 2 cents on this and we may agree to disagree.. am absolutely ok with that.
When ishita says she has moved on I believe she really has. She cried over her heartbreak but held herself together and wore a smile for her parents, to releive them from stress. For me thats a huge sign of maturity In a woman. An immature person would have moped over it for ages and thrown tanrums. She did not.
When she tells raman I understand the hurt of pehla pyar (not during the simmi discussion but the next time post shaggys appearance)
1. She meant about raman and not her
2. Even if she meant about her, then too that is not wrong as she might have forgiven and let go off subbu but that doesnt mean she can forget it. No human can forget a heartbreak. One can only get over it and move on. Be indifferent about it. And thats what she tells Raman about shagun on the night of the party. Dont love her, dont hate her. Just respect her for your children as he was sincere in his love for his ex. Why insult that?

About the story getting stagnated again I disagree as its all about pal pal badhein hai mohabbatein.
From prejudice and hate, they moved to respect and trust. Now they have let gone of their past and want to move on.. all this cannot happen overnight. Its a day to day progress.. more realistic. Also if the writer thinks people will stop watching if they consummate then what do I say, lot of posts in the forum do ask for that. But the writer is still holding to the story and letting love take a natural course.

Hey Leo ... how are you... third time we meet today 😆 Sunday must really be boring for both of us
so... be patient with me... I will try and reply to your post, but may look like I am going off on a tangent. Also, you know I havent even seen Mani's face, so if I say something blatantly stupid, please correct me.

Once upon a time, we all wrote about how complex Raman's character is, and how many facets it has. Raman was (and may be still is) one of the most 'multi-layered' characters on TV.

You remember how we used to discuss that Ishita, comparatively, has not been explored by the writers at all. The only side of Ishita we saw was that of an infertile woman instantly connecting with a child next door. At some point, that started changing, and I don't remember if it was the accident track or even before that, where Ishita started doing things that we had not seen before.

Honestly, I gave them benefit of the doubt as much as I could. Because, in my eyes, they were just trying to build that character, when I was already in love with another established character. There were quite a few times I was disappointed, but I blamed my tolerance level for my impatience. So, to be fair to the CVs, they did try... with Ishita's character.

Now coming to the topic you chose... Subbu...

Her lines about Subbu had always been consistent. Till Mani arrived, my view was that she has moved on from Subbu. Her hurt and anger over losing the love of her life reduced over a period of time... the final scene that I remember where Subbu was being discussed was when Raman asked her (in his office) if she was happy... and she couldn't have given a clearer message.

My problem is with Mani's 'role' and background now.

IF Mani is her childhood friend... I am assuming he has been in touch with her throughout all the ordeals she has been through ? He knows about Subbu + Prateek + her inability to bear a child?

IF Mani is such a close friend... and if he knows her whole life story, he wouldn't bring up Subbu casually and repeatedly. Because even if she has moved on now, and is happily married, there was a time when Subbu was her life. and if I were her friend, I'd be sensitive to that.

IF Mani is a close friend and Ishita is so comfortable with him, then if he does bring up Subbu, then I'd expect a tinge of something in her eyes. Not because she still remembers Subbu... But because she remembers the pain she had shared with Mani when Subbu left her...

I think Ishita's behaviour seems inconsistent because of the Mani character and the lack of depth in his story, not hers... did I make sense ???

Actually thing is expectations has been increased and standard of the also is slow high so its difficult to accept such silly track...whole mani track is not yhm types...immature track..

I never wished jealousy track...i alway wanted to see natural growth of there love story like how they have shown other phase...

I guess isitha has thrown subbu out of her system..she doesn't even brother like Raman who is neutral about shagun...

Mani jaap is bit over the top like Raman's oneliner 😆
Hope isitha is not involved in forcefull jealousy by mani if we look spoilers...

CV's should handle this maturely
But they will get good trp at 7:30 so they dont care 🥱

amma ke accident track ka side effect beti pe >> ishita ki matt mari gai he

In realistic way, no mature married woman would spend time with her bestie in night on bench doing khi-khi -khi-khi. some word is called "laxman rekha" even if she is clear by heart.

Mani jaaap is annoying and boring.itna to ruhi ka jaap bhi nahi kiya tha the little cupid who gave her another chance to live life

As Madhubala said Humour if devoid of any logic looks silly. Its the same tracks devoid of logic looks silly. Maybe this sillyness has creeped in for 7.30 slot I think No we saw same illogical stuff when Ishita went n got Param home alone or when she got drunk Shagun home.

I guess the makers want to portray that a woman who is falling in love with Raman (as they showed n 22nd n 23rd Sep )prefers to spend more time with her best friend over the person with whom she wants to fall in love with (i.e Raman). Y coz any woman in her place wud do that I find this argument again silly.
😕

Ishita ok initially started Mani Jaap by saying ki I want to make Ravan jealous n admit his jealousy or love but clearly now it is not working. If this is a track to make Raman understand that its ok to be sensitive sometimes u need not b the so called alpha male, sometimes u need to use ur heart instead of ur Brain n anger (showing him n example f Mani) then also its a wrong track. 😆 Raman has so many times shown his sensitive side.

Ishita's refusal towards Mani's so cAlled carrying a torch for u statement. First time in party she says I m married lemme find u a nice girl here (trying to brush aside the topic) second time in coffee shop when asked her if she lovers her husband she says its not necessary to have love in marriage it can still work again not clearly saying I am happy in my marriage. Third time on bench she says u have no copyrights over me n laughs off. If somebody is ur best friend n if u say something to them seriously they will not get hurt but be happy that u came clean wid uf issues ( if I tell my best friend ki the topicu r discussing with me I am not liking please we will not discuss this she will understand) This is called maturity, somebody with whom u have gone to school n shared homework n played with is not ur best friend.

Maybe Mani didnt wanted to come in between Ishita n subbu hence he was not there in Ishitas life n went abroad but y did Ishita not share her pain with him then? What r best friends for only happy times ? Even Mani asks her Subbu k baad itna sab hua u cud hv called me I wud hv come to u she has no answer to that.

Hence this Ishita Mani relationship does not feel like two best friends but just good frirnds chatting n remembering gud old days. Clearly Ishita finds no emotional anchor in Mani n then when she spends quality time with him giggling n laughing she comes across as silly nothing else.

I know some people r liking it but m reAlly not liking this track n if this continue m thinking f not watching YHM. It currently looks like Ishra story is not progressing although both r asking each other valid questions. I guess i will give it a break for 2 -3 days.

Thank you Megha, Very well said indeed!

I DONT think the TRP audience analyzes the show like you and I do for hours everyday.
They watch if they like the visual appeal, they watch if they think the love story is beautiful they watch if they like the conniving saas, they watch if they think they like the idea of a sanskaari woman who can also be a top cop.

I firmly believe its written by a bunch of people on their way to work on their phones and they must vote collectively into a hat in the brainstorming room

I hapened to watch a SBB SBS clip of Karan Patel, where one of his actor friends visited his set, and they show them talking. Karan openly ridicules "Raman" when his buddy asks him "what kind of CEO are you supposed to be?" Karan says "MERA KAAM HAR JAGAH FAILA HUA HAI"
They both crack up like silly teenagers (aka Ishita) Karan could not come up with anything intelligent to say about Raman's work responsibilities or the kind of company Raman heads😲😡🤢

It was kinda sad actually, you dont need to have a spiral bound script like they do in Hollywood, but atleast the lead guy should talk sensibly about the kind of business his character owns?

Here I was writing two paragraphs about the lift of Ishita's eyebrow😆 in a scene, one day

How can every frame, every shot, every line have such deep meaning

Ishita hasnt even looked at her husband to even check out his reaction the last three days. She seems to be in la la land. How can I as a viewer, be convinced all her gush comes "out of deep love for Raman?"😕

It is just commonsense to realise that they want to prolong the confession. I find it very silly, confession can come with the flow of the story. Cvs need not make it seem like at last they fall in love left with no other choice... now i'm not interested in their painful past at all... high time to finally move on, especially raman. Prolonging confession does not make sense to me anymore... 250 epi over and still the cvs want to keep us guessing. cvs will show them falling for each other when they are convinced that ishra is the last male and female remaining on planet earth and they are left with no choice than finally fall in love. Too much dragging kills the essence of the show. My opinion...

This is starting to look freaking annoying, it will soon reach a point where viewers won't care any more lol

ZD... I don't know if the timeslot change is to be blamed for this or not. But their sudden introduction of Mani is what pricks me most.

If he is her best friend and was there on the show from day 1, we wouldnt have minded it at all... honestly it doesnt matter if its a man or a woman. She shares such a good equation with Bala... we (and Raman) would have gotten used to it by now with Mani too. Every one can have the best friend they want and need. But because they throw him in after 200 episodes and declare that they are langotiya yaars and all, her sudden and constant mani jaap is irritating...

Hello ..

Dunno if u made sense to anyone else .. but u made immense sense to me ... like u i have not yet focussed on the character called Mani ... coz i think the PH / Star have no clue about what to do with this guy ... i think maybe on fri / sat episodes some first line structure was given to this guy .. but its still wishy washy .. there have been to many iterations on this guy ..

So i for one would like to hold before i speak about this guy at all ..
Its similar to Suraj character .. before he came on scene he was supposed to be elder bro .. then he became younger bro .. now god knows .. even his character is not fleshed out as yet .. but he is clearly insignificant & is here for a short duration ..

Raman or Ishita's character or for that matter all the support characters in the show have spent 10 months with us .. thats how we know them & their lot in the serial .. this guy has been here for a week .. & that to without any long term agenda .. how can we KNOW about him ..

Any character needs time for the writer to flesh .. & for us to understand ..
