Karan Johar calls Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s baby news ‘the best’; welcomes them to parenting

On Saturday, Karan Johar shared a picture of the couple on Instagram Stories, writing, “Congratulations to this absolutely lovely and warm couple and this is the best news!!!! Blessings to the blessed baby boy… welcome to the magical world of parenting.” His message quickly drew attention online, reflecting the warm bond he shares with both actors.

Earlier, Katrina and Vicky had issued a joint statement confirming the news of their baby’s birth. Their note read, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November 2025. Katrina & Vicky.” The announcement was met with an outpouring of love from industry peers and fans alike.

The couple, who tied the knot in December 2021 in an intimate ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, had announced their pregnancy in September 2025. Their journey into parenthood has been closely followed by fans, who often refer to them as one of Bollywood’s most admired couples.

Adding to the celebrations, Vicky’s father and veteran action director Sham Kaushal shared an emotional message on social media. “Shukriya Rab Da… Kal se Bhagwan ka mere parivar pe itna meherban rehne ke liye jitna bhi shukar kar raha hoon, unki blessings ke samne kam pad raha hai,” he wrote. Calling the newborn “a blessing from God,” Sham added, “Bhagwan ki meherbani aise hi mere bachon pe aur sabse junior Kaushal pe bani rahe.” Concluding his heartfelt note, he wrote, “So so happy on becoming Dada.
