Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor Join Neetu Kapoor at Sanjay Khan’s Home Post Zarine Khan’s Demise

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor were among the latest to arrive at Sanjay Khan’s home to offer condolences to his family following the death of Zarine Khan. The mother of Sussanne Khan and Zayed Khan, Zarine passed away on Thursday in Mumbai at the age of 81.

A video shared by paparazzo Pallav Paliwal showed Kareena, Karisma, and Neetu stepping out of their car and walking quietly into the Khan residence. Their visit came a day after several film industry members, including Hrithik Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Jaya Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bobby Deol, were seen visiting the house to extend support to the grieving family.

Zarine Khan, remembered both for her work as an interior designer and her warmth in the industry circle, was married to veteran actor and filmmaker Sanjay Khan. She is survived by her husband and four children — Farah Khan Ali, Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, and Zayed Khan.

Following her mother’s passing, Farah Khan Ali shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, reflecting on Zarine’s values and spirit. “My mother, Zarine Khan, was a very special woman. Her philosophy of life was to ‘forgive and forget.’ She was kind-hearted, loved by all her friends and family, and cared deeply for one and all,” Farah wrote.

She further remembered Zarine as the “bond that held the family together,” describing her mother’s life as an example of compassion and unity. “Born a Parsi, married as a Muslim, and cremated according to Hindu rites — she epitomised humanity,” Farah wrote, expressing pride in her mother’s belief in love beyond religion and community.

Zarine Khan’s last rites were conducted at the Juhu crematorium in Mumbai, where her son Zayed Khan performed the final rituals.

The Khan family has continued to receive visits from friends and well-wishers in the film fraternity as they come to terms with the loss of one of their most cherished members.
