So Parth and Vibha are hugging one another, having cleared all the misunderstandings, Vibha having vented out why she felt jealous and Parth explaining to her that what he feels for her cannot go away with simply talking to another girl or with him seeing her talking to another man. Her face is beaming with happiness knowing that Parth cannot think of anyone beside her, and she thinks she's always wanted her man to have this essential quality. With her eyes closed, she imagines she is on cloud nine, and strangely enough within those clouds, she can hear the sonorous sound of a waterfall, colourful chatter of the butterflies and radiance of bright and vivid flowers...
As Parth gently lets go of her, she looks at him with longing eyes...
Vibha - Main jati hu, koi bhi aa sakta hai
Parth - Hmm
She looks at him, her eyes filled with emotions as if telling him to be with her every second of the passing moment. He comes close to her before she can go away, gently holds her face and kissed her on her forehead, she closes her eyes and smiles. She feels secure everytime he does that, and that feeling of being with the one your heart races for is just the simply the best one she has experienced!
Vibha - Good night Parth
Parth - Hmm, good night
He smiles at her and they both go, in opposite directions, she to her room, and he back to his dormitory. While walking back, he feels he should have told her how he really feels about her, how he always wants to be with her and that he will always wait for her. He thinks he has poured out his heart to her many a times before, but he needs to do it properly. But is it too soon, he wonders. Another question that also worries him is if she feels the same level of intensity as he does, and if not, will him saying something ruin what they already have? Not being able to find an answer, he thinks it better to focus on his studies and exams rather than reading too much into his real feelings for Vibha.
Yet, again days go by and they try to act as a normal student and teacher, so that they don't ruin each other's future. He thinks he will always reserve that special place in his heart for her, and will always have her on his mind. She feels time will pass by quickly and soon he will leave school, and she won't know what her own future will be... Perhaps same duties in the same school with new students, but no one will ever be as unique and warming to her as him...
Exams are soon near... One night, as all students are asleep, Parth wakes up, not being able to sleep. He goes to the one place that he can get lost in, in an entire new world, where he can immerse his head into the books and keep reading away... He thinks he will read his science text book again for the exam next day... He is reading and soon enough falls asleep on the desk. He awakens with fuzzy eyes inhaling smoke and seeing flashes of yellow light around him! He opens his eyes wide to see fire spread rapidly around him. He gets up and hurriedly tries to run, but shelf load of books fall on him and knock him unconscious... The smoke starts to spread around the lower areas and the teachers start to vacate the dorms. Vibha notices Parth is missing and asks a sleepy Utkarsh as to where he is, and Parth says he doesn't know, he was sleeping, as were everyone else in the room.
Vibha runs towards the library, and at first she gets scared to enter with black fumes gasping out as she opens the doors. Somehow her instinct tells her Parth maybe inside so she braves the fumes, while getting burnt near her neck and arms, and finds Parth. She starts crying helplessly, tries to wake him up and starts shouting for help. He has unfortunately inhaled a lot of smoke and Vibha tries to drag him, and just then the fire fighters enter and help them out. Urmila maam asks Vibha to tend to her burn injuries while they rush Parth to the hospital, but she insists that she wants to make sure he is okay. Urmila agrees and asks her to come along and says they can get her checked out at the hospital as well.
Once at hospital, Vibha is looked at by a doctor while Urmila assures her that she will make sure Parth gets immediate attention and that she will stay with him till he gains consciousness. Once Vibha's dressing is done, the doctor asks her to rest as she may be in shock after such an incident, but she says she is fine and as a teacher wants to check on his student. Urmila is sitting next to Parth as he starts to breathe through the oxygen tubes. Vibha enters the room and Urmila asks her to rest, but she insists again and Urmila says she will then return to school and check on everything else. She tells him that the doctors say that Parth is stable and will gain consciousness soon. She says if need be, she can send Kamini maam to be with her. Vibha doesn't want anyone to be with her, so she says she will call herself if she feels the need for someone to be with her. Urmila nods, thanks her immensely for her bravery and dedication and leaves.
Vibha cries and holds Parth's hands. He's been dressed everywhere he got burnt as well. She then gently touches his face, and keeps crying. He continues to breathe with his eyes closed. Vibha keeps waiting next to his bed, and soon falls asleep on the chair. It is around midnight after all. Parth gains consciousness in a few hours and as he slowly opens his eyes, he feels the oxygen mask attached to his face, which he slowly removes and then looks around and sees the hospital room and sees Vibha sleeping on the chair... He realizes he fell unconscious when he tried to rush upon seeing the fire. But how did Vibha get there? And what happened to her? He feels weak but gets worried...
Parth - Vibha... Maam...
Vibha - (wakes up and finds Parth about to get up) No... Parth... lete raho...
She jumps out of her chair and goes next to the side of his bed, gently sits next to him and puts her hand on his chest, pushing him to lie down again. He holds her dressed hand gently and looks at it, and then at her face. She gently pulls her hand away...
Parth - Apko kya hua?
Vibha - I'm fine Parth, mujhe kuch nahi hua hai...
Parth - Phir aap mujhse kya chupa rahi hai?
Vibha - Parth, tum chup raho, and try to rest... Tumne bahut zyada carbon monoxide inhale kar liya tha...
Parth - Main theek hu (he says feebly)
Vibha - Tum theek nahi ho... Aur tum itni raat ko library main... Dusre students ki tarah so nahi sakte the? (she scolds him with tears in her eyes as she thought she had almost lost him!)
Parth - Apko pata hai...
Vibha - Ha, mujhe sab pata hai... (just as a tear is about to roll down her cheek, he lifts his hand and then wipes them away)
She looks at him lovingly and deep down thanks God for saving him and keeping him safe!
Parth - Aap mujhe yaha lekar aayi hai? Aap ro kyu rahi hai?
Vibha - Parth please, ek bar meri baat man lo...
Parth - Main har baat manunga, pehle aap apne yeh aasu...
Vibha holds his hands just as he's about to wipe away more tears.
Vibha - Theek hai, yeh lo... (she stops crying)
Parth - Apko kya hua? Kya apke room main bhi aag...
Vibha - Nahi Parth... Tum rest karo, main Urmila maam ko phone karke aati hu
Parth - Lekin...
She puts her hand on his mouth, so that he can't speak any further and asks him to listen to her and not talk too much! As always, he is always full of questions when it comes to her...
She goes out and composes herself, and calls Urmila maam to inform her that Parth is okay now, and that the doctor has advised him to spend the night in the hospital, just to monitor him. Urmila tells her that they tried to inform his parents, but haven't been able to get hold of them yet. Vibha says she will let his mother know. Urmila tells her that the students are fine and that she will get the library and the surrounding area examined for the cause of the fire. She says that the exam will be postponed by a day so that students can gain back composure, even though they are all okay and not physically hurt.
Vibha tries to call Parth's Mom, but can't get through to her mobile phone. So she messages her and hopes for the best. She decides to not tell Parth about it in case he worries. She informs Urmila that she will stay with Parth till his parents reach and Urmila gives her the permission to be at the hospital. Utkarsh meanwhile is worried about Parth and requests to see him at the hospital, but Urmila tells him that a teacher is there with him and soon his parents will be with him. So its better that they let him rest and they can see him the next day.
Vibha enters Parth's room again and even though Parth is sleepy, he tries to talk to her and she gestures him to sleep. She runs her hands through his hair, and puts her hands gently over his eyes to close them and goes close towards him, and whispers in his ears...
Vibha - So jao Parth...
He doesn't resists and sleeps.
She sleeps on the chair next to him and its almost noon when Parth wakes up and finds Vibha reading a book next to his bed. She is happy to see him awake...
Vibha - Parth... Ab kaise ho tum?
Parth - Main... main theek hu...
Vibha - Doctor ne kaha hai ki agar tumhe theek lag raha ho to tumhe discharge kar sakte hai... Tumhe weakness to nahi hai na?
Parth - Err... No, I'm okay...
Vibha - Theek hai, toh tum pehle fresh ho jao, phir thoda kha lo, phir we can take you back to school...
Parth - Par exam?
Vibha - Tum exam ka tension mat karo...
Parth - Kya?
Vibha - Parth, tum itne achche student ho ki tum ek exam bhi miss karoge, phir bhi top hi rahoge! Aur waise bhi, aaj ki exam Urmila maam ne kal tak postpone kar di hai...
Parth - Okay...
He smiles at her and is about to ask her something, but she stops him...
Vibha - Ab aur questions nahi Parth. Just get ready and do as I say!
Parth follows her instructions and they eat together and soon enough they're back at Warrior High. Utkarsh is very happy to see Parth. Parth is happy that Vibha was with him all the time he was not well, all the time he needed looking after, all the time he perhaps needed someone by his side... As she walks away in the background, he keeps looking back at her...
Utkarsh tells him how she ran for him and she saved him, without caring for her own self. Parth is very disturbed to hear this. He is torn between reciprocating her overwhelming sense of care and concern for him and shouting at her for risking her own life for him! He thinks he has to see her! He tells Utkarsh he will talk to him later, he has to go first and thank Vibha for saving his life. Utkarsh agrees and tells him she must have gone to her dance class.
Parth runs to the dance room, and as he enters, he finds Vibha alone there. He enters and locks the door behind him.
Vibha - (turns around) Parth?
Parth - (walks towards her and holds her arms with both his hands) Apne aisa kyu kiya? Aap janti hai na ki aap mere liye kitni important hai? Agar aapko kuch bhi ho jata to? Aur woh bhi meri wajah se? Main apne aap ko kabhi bhi maaf nahi kar pata!
He looks at her with anger in his eyes and also tears that won't roll down...
Vibha - Calm down Parth, aisa kuch nahi hua!
Parth - (looks at her palm and her neck and says) Aur yeh, yeh sab meri hi wajah se hua hai...
Vibha - Nahi Parth...
Parth - (shouts) Ha!
Vibha hugs him tight and he tries to pull away but she makes him understand and doesn't let go of him...
Vibha - Tumhe pata hai Parth, ek pal ke liye mujhe laga ki maine tumhe kho diya hai... Woh ek pal ka ehsaas, ek pal ka dar, sab kuch tumhe dekhkar... (she lets her tears fall) Aur shayad tum hote to tum bhi wohi karte...
He senses that she is crying and holds her face and wipes her tears...
Parth - (looks down) I'm sorry...
Vibha - Nahi Parth, its okay... Tumne bhi toh freshers party main... Woh waqt alag tha, lekin phir bhi... Khair chodo...
Parth - Main aapka jitna bhi shukriya karu utna kam hai...
Vibha - Tum sach main mujhse thank you bolna chahte ho...
Parth nods...
Vibha - Toh phir jaldi se mujhe smile karke dikhao...
Parth - Main koi bachcha nahi hu, aur main ro bhi nahi ra hu!
Vibha - Aakhen dekho apni, ab gusse se lal hai ya phir aasu se, yeh to tum hi jano!
He nods and then gives a crooked smile to her, she gives a naughty smile back and tells him that he should go and rest, so that he can feel better and do his exam properly the next day! He hugs her, thanks her again and apologizes again and then leaves...
(THIS PART IS NOW COMPLETE... THE BIRTHDAY TRACK WILL FOLLOW IN THE NEXT ONE, I NEEDED TO BUILD SOME CONTEXT WITH THIS ONE, THAT CAN OVERFLOW ONTO THE NEXT PART!)
