How did Gunjan get Charu and Maayank married?

Legally. I am asking legally. That is what matters right now. The Law. That is what is preventing Maayank from getting aways from Chaaru, the law. How did Gunjan get them married legally? If she didn't, why people keep blaming her for getting them married when she didn't by law? And don't say that legal marriage never happened, a lot of things indicate that Maayank is bound to Chaaru by law, like the divorce case and him NOT marrying Gunjan because of Chaaru cause it's illegal. Even Shail said it that he is legally married to Chaaru.

LOL. I'm intrigued by this question.

If we go by your question, then every marriage in our telly world is illegal.

And by the way, what qualifies as a legal marriage? How many couples back in India seriously get their marriage registered? Perhaps not a whole lot. And even if those who do, they do it after the ceremony with witnesses and with their marriage album etc. as proof.

Umm all the legal and law drama going on... Dowry case, more importantly divorce case. Can't marry Gunjan cause he is LEGALLY married to Charu. Even Shail said it that he is legally married to Chaaru.

Then why is he using the law to get rid of Charu with divorce? Just leave her, it's not illegal then is it? It is because he was legally married to Gunjan by contract, which Gunjan did not do.

If this is the case, then ok thanks 😛. But only if it's true, does anyone know for certain?

Yep in India the marriage ceremony and the pheras + tying of mangalsutra is enough for the marriage to be legal even if the witness is only the pandit who solemnized the wedding.

Registration used to happen even earlier but not rigorously but nowadays people especially in cities make it a point to register!!
