Part 1: Naku and DP rendezvous
DP has called Naku outside PN to meet him once and give him one chance to explain himself. After a lot of pestering, Naku agrees to meet him. Naku reaches the venue to find DP's men spread across but out of the earshot.
Naku goes to DP and talks angrily, "Jaldi boliye. Mujhe apne Pati se jhooth bolnaa achcha nahi lagtaa!"😡
DP talks gently to Naku, "Beith Beti. Mein teraa jaasti waqt nahi khoti karoonga"
Naku sits down and looks at DP intently.
DP - "Mein seedhi baat kartaa hoon. Mujhe Dutta se ek baar milnaa hai. Usne apni taraf ke saare darwaze band kar rakhe hain, mere liye, lekin meraa usse milna bahut zaroori hai"
Naku - "Aap unhe akelaa kyun nahi chod dete? Pehle koi kam dookh diye, jo ab phir se dookh dene aa gaye?"
DP - "Mein Maafi mangne aaya hoon Naku, aur tu mujhe Dutta se milwaayegi. Tu uss se kahegi mujhe maaf karne ke liye"
Naku looks at him surprised. 😲.She remembers Dutta's emotional turmoil at being told about his father the first time. "Kaise kahoon unse ki aapko maaf karde? Kaise? mein hi aapko maaf nahi kar paa rahi, kis ehsaas se kahegi mein ki woh aapko maaf kar dein? Kaise Iss dil ko samjhaayegi mein, ki aapko maaf karna bhi chahiye?"
DP gets candid with Naku, "Haan! Galti ki meine. Kya Gunhegaar ko sudhar ne ka ek maukaa bhi nahi milnaa chahiye?"
Naku sighs and tells him with finality - "Mein unhe aur dookh nahi degi. Aapka humari zindagi se jaana hi unke liye achcha rahegaa". 🥱🥱
She gets up concluding the meeting and starts to leave when DP says from behind. "Tune kabhie socha hai ki Supriya ke kaand mein tu kaise phasi."...Naku stops in her tracks. 😲😲😲😲😲......
DP goes on, "Tujhe kya lagta hai, uss ladki mein itni himmat thi ki itnaa bada kaand akele racha le? Nahi! Yeh bahut sochi samjhi chaal thi Naku, tere hi ghar ke andar se paidaa hui chaal...Dutta ko barbaad karne ke liye...Aur sirf mein jaanta hai ki iskaa beejh kahaan hai...Tu bata, kya jaasti zaroori hai, Dutta ko ahista ahista khokhlaa karti hui yeh chaalein ya apne kiye pe pachtaata hua Baap ka saaya?"
Naku turns, her mouth wide open with shock, eyes flashing anger!😲😡😲😡
"Aap kya jaante uske baare mein?"
DP - "Mein bahut kuch jaantaa hoon, jo Dutta ya tu kabhie soch bhi nahi sakte. Ab tu soch le, kya zaroori hai? Beete hue kal ke woh pal jo mein badal nahi saktaa ya aaj ki khaufnaak sachchai, jo Dutta ko khatam kar sakti hai?"
Naku roars with anger, "Aap jhooth bolte! Mere ghar se koi...(tears welling up in her eyes)...in ko...Nahi..."😭😭😭😭
DP looks at her kindly and places his hand on Naku's head. "Tu achi shaadi ka, achche susraal ka sapnaa dekhti hai na...dekhnaa bhi chahiye Naku...Lekin tere ko nahi maaloom ki Dutta aur tu, sirf jhooth aur fareb se ghire hue ho! Mein sirf apne bete ko ek chakhravyu se nikaalne aaya hoon..."
He turns and shakes her - Tujhe chakhravyu dikhaayi bhi detaa hai? Jab dikhaayi nahi detaa toh niklegi kaisi? aur Dutta ko kaise nikaalegi?"
Naku shrugs off his hold, "Par mein aap par ab bharosa kyun kare? "😡😭😕
DP - "Mat kar, abhi mat kar...Thande dimaag se yaad kar Dutta ki shaadi ke din ki raat! Tujhe sawaal khud nazar aa jayenge aur jawab sirf mere paas hai." (He pauses and sighs) "Naku, Dutta ko dheeme se khatam karti hui yeh hasti, yahaan nahi rukegi, aur tere paas aur koi chaara nahi hai par mere par bharoasa karne ka. kam se kam, Dutta ke liye! Tujhe dekh kar lagtaa hai tujhe logoan ko parakhnaa aata hai...Apne dil se poochnaa, tere ghar ke log, tere ko kitne apne lagte hain? Aur Meraa peechaa karnaa kitnaa paraaya?"
He goes close to Naku and looks at her pleadingly, "Mere paas zyaada waqt nahi hai aur mujhe apne bete ko bachchaana hai, Naku. Yeh hi meraa chotaa sa prashchit hogaa. Naku, meri madad kar, humaare Dutta ko bachchaane mein"
Naku looks at him perplexed. "Waqt kam hai? Matlab?" 😕😕😕
DP turns with his back towards Naku. "Mein mar raha hai Naku. Cancer mere ko andar se khaata jaa raha hai aur mere ko woh zyaada se zyaada 6 mahinaa diya. In 6 mahinoan mein, mere betaa ko mujhe bachaana hai..."...He stops for a second and then turns to look at her. His eyes were moist. He completes, "Aur usse aakhri baar gale bhi lagaana hai....Tu is marte aadmi ki aakhri ichcha puri karegi naa?"😭😭😭
Naku is shocked beyond words, she stares at him for few extra minutes, her eyes herself moist. She turns and leaves.😭😭😭😭😭

In the evening Naku is sitting in her room, churning what she has learnt in the afternoon. She is stiff worried and in turmoil. On one hand there is a dying man, pleading her to make the Son-Father union happen and on the other hand is Dutta, whose wound is still fresh after seeing his Father in front of his eyes and learning his truth about the past. She is fighting with herself to choose the right thing or the one that her heart tells her to!
Moreover, What if DP is speaking the truth about the Supriya's episode.😕😕😕😕 The episode was still open for interpretations. She knows that she wasn't the culprit, and as Dutta has stated, that someone from the house has helped Supriya escape. DP was right, Supriya alone cannot hatch such an ingenious plan. The real culprit was still loose and this can be dangerous for Dutta. How could she ignore this aspect for so long. She remembers that once Kishore had also said similar things to her, as DP. What did Kishore know about that episode? If Kishore knows something, then somewhere the secret behind the episode has to stem from this house but can there be anyone in this house who can hate Dutta to this extent! She thinks about each one of the members of her house and shivers, "Apnoan ko kaise Paraaya keh dein"? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
She is sorting out her mental turmoil when Dutta enters the room. He is preoccupied with some tension and he sits beside Naku and stares at her intently, hurt visible in his eyes. Naku sees him worried.
Naku - "Aap theek hain?"
Dutta keeps looking at her intently, "Aaj kahaan gayi thi Naku?"
Naku looks at him, searching his eyes. She feels something wrong in Dutta's tone. She wonders what to tell him. Unable to lie to Dutta, she turns her gaze, "Mein aapke Baba se milne gayi thi."
Dutta stares at her, anger flaring inside him, "Meraa koi Baba nahi hai Naku." 😡😡
Naku keeps quiet. Dutta asks her after some time, "Mujhe kyun nahi pata tha is baare mein?"
Naku gives him a full length stare, "Mein wahaan aapke Baba ke liye nahi gayi thi. Mein aap ke liye gayi thi. Aapki aankhon mein mein dard pad sakti hai. Har din, har pal, aap isse jee rahe ho." Dutta tries denying but Naku stops him. "Nahi. Manna nako karo. Mein apni band aankhoan se bhi aapko pad sakti hai. Aehsaas hota hai mujhe. Aapka dard mere se nahi dekha jaata. Har raat jab aap sisakte ho, toh Naku sau mautein mar ti hai"😭😭😭😭
Dutta looks at Naku, her words touching him to the core, his anger melting, "Koi toh hai jis par mein vishwaas kar saktaa hoon!"...He looks at Naku intently but with love pouring. "Naku, mujhe kyun lag raha hai, ki meri zindagi ret ki tarah mere haath se phisalti jaa rahi hai?"...😭😭😭
Naku comes close to Dutta. "Aisaa kuch nahi hogaa. Mein hai aapke saath, Baaji hai, Aayi Saheb hai. Hum aapko kuch nahi hone denge." Naku wonders, "Yeh "hum" kab tak rahegaa? Kya raaz chupa ke rakhe hain is ghar ki diwaaroan ne?"...😕😭
She goes on, "Humne pehle bhi bahut toofaan ka saamnaa kiya hai, Puraane panhe hee toh palte hai zindagi ne, isko bhi padh lenge" She is not able to take his pain and starts shivering.
Dutta sits down, his head dug in his hands. Naku sits beside him and looks at him, pain in her eyes. She tells him, "Mein kuch bole aapko?". She places her hand on his hand,"Aayi bolti ki Kabhie Kabhie, apne andar ke gusse ka saamnaa karne kaa, Bhaagne se yeh sirf jaasti hogaa"
Dutta uncovers his face, "Tu kya kehnaa chah rahi hai Naku?"
Naku looks at him, apprehensive about her next line. She finally gathers guts, gulps and tells him, "Aap ek baar apne Baba se ....(pauses) mil lo"
Dutta instantly turns to face Naku, shocked at what he just heard. "Nakuuuu! Tu kya keh rahi hai?"
Naku, "Aap gussa mat ho. Mein sirf ek baar milne ke liye keh rahi hai, aur zyaada kuch nahi."
Dutta gets up, his anger rising,😡😡😡😡 "Naku, tune yeh socha bhi kaise? Meri Aayi ne apnaa suhaag khoya, yeh unke saath gaddaari hogi, Meri Behnoan ke upar se baap kaa saaya cheen gaya, yeh unke saath gadaari hogi, Inhone mujhe mere Baap ke narak se nikal kar, apnaa banaaya, unke aehsaas ke saath gaddari hogi...Tune yeh sochcha bhi kaise Naku?"
Naku - "Lekin aap kitnaa bhaagoge apne gusse se? Ek baar baat toh karke dekhne ka."
Dutta shouts back, "Kya baat karoon Naku...aur Kaise baat karoon...us insaan se jisne mera wajood hilla diyaa hai...Meri hasti mitaa di hai???", He hits the wall in frustration and Naku jerks back. 😡😡😡😡....
He goes on, "Aaj jab apni nazar ghoomaata hoon, toh sirf anjaan chehre nazar aate hain...dayaa nazar aati hai...Aehsaan nazar aata hai.....Saare rishte naate khokle lagte hain Naku...."...He sits down on the bed and covers his face. "Nahi maloom mujhe ki mere dekhne ke nazariyaa badal gaya hai ya un rishtoan ki paribhaasha....Aur yeh sab us aadmi ki wajah se...". He looks at her, "Tu chahti hai, mein us insaan se miloon?....Aur kitnaa khokhlaa karegaa woh mujhe...Kuch bachcha hai ab mere mein?".😭😭😭😭
Naku goes and sits beside Dutta. She places her hand on his hand. Dutta turns to look at her longingly. He stares at her for a long time, their eyes well up seeing each others pain. "Saare chehre ajnabee ho gaye hain Naku...". 😭😭😭
He lies down with his head on her laps like a child and closes his eyes. Naku looks at him, tears tickling at the corners of her eyes. She massages his head, all the while dotting on him.
After few silent moments, when Naku thought Dutta might have slept, Dutta suddenly asks her, "Tu toh mujhe chod ke nahi jaayegi na? Mere andar ka toofan mein sirf tere ko dikhaa saktaa hoon Naku. Tu mere se rooth jaayegi toh mein bilkool toot jaaongaa!".
Dutta's pain brings tears to Naku's eyes, "Naku apne saab ko kabhie nahi chod sakti...Kabhie nahi!"
She takes his face in her hand, "Mein aapko totnee nahi degi Saab, Aapne suna, Naku aapko bikharne nahi degi...Kaash apni hathoan ki lakeerean mein aapke naam kar sakti aur aapki, mein khushi khusi le leti...lekin mein iss Naseeb ko badlegi...Aap bahut acche ho, Aapke saath buraa nahi hone degi"
With moist eyes, Dutta falls asleep after a long time...
Naku stays awake, seeing Dutta sleep after days, she didnt have a heart to go further in this matter! She recollects her conversation with DP. He is a dying man and then what about the Sups secret? Should she let the bygones be bygones? What if DP is right and that Hasti wouldn't keep quiet for long? 😕😕😕She stares at him for a long time, tears dropping non-stop from her eyes!
"Kya karoon Bappa, mujhe raastaa dikha...Is mazhaar par mat chod mujhe."😭😭😭

Naku is still awake, lost in thought when there is a slight movement in Dutta...He gets up to find that he has been asleep since 6 hrs and Naku was still awake in an uncomfortable posture. She didnt want to move, scared that her movements might wake him up. 😳😳😳
Dutta looks at Naku for a long time...❤️❤️
"Bhagwaan agar bahut kuch letaa hai toh kuch detaa bhi hai, (he pauses)...woh un sab lee hui cheezoan ko pheeka kar detaa hai, Naku..." He comes close to her and keeps looking in her eyes. "Bappa ne mujhe, tujhe diya Naku...Abhi tak toh yeh toofan mujhe das jaata agar tu nahi hoti...Mar jaata teraa yeh..."..Naku stops him from completing and covers his mouth with her hand. She shakes her head in denial, tears in her eyes emerging again.😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dutta removes her hand from his mouth, holds it tight in his...He looks at her intently for few seconds then kisses her hand.❤️❤️ "Mujhe nahi maloom ki meri kis janam ki pooja hai tu, lekin tune mujhe puraa kiya Naku. Har Khokhlaa pan bhi poora lagta hai, agar tu hoti hai saath."...he takes her other hand and kisses it too..He comes closes to her lips and plants a kiss on her cheeks. He then closes her eyes and kisses both of them in succession. He finally moves below and closes in on her mouth. While kissing her he pushes her down on the bed and lies beside her. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Gradually the lights are turned off and the night closes with the birds chirping far away and two lovers emerged in their own world, unaware of the world or its problems! Atleast for this moment both felt complete!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The morning dawns and Naku wakes up to find Dutta lying beside her, blissfully asleep. After a long time she was seeing a serenity on his face. On one hand this made her happy😳😳 and on the other, she was worried. She caresses his hair, looks at him longingly ❤️❤️, "Kab tak yeh aehsaas zinda rahegaa? Inke paas toh Khushi bhi mehmaan banke aati hai." She sees Bappa's idol and looks at him angrily, "Kyun kar raha hai inke saath? Tere ko agar mazaa aata hai inko dookh dene mein, toh mujhe dede inkaa dookh". She gets up angrily and goes to the washroom.
Naku comes out of the washroom to find Dutta awake and a notorious smile playing on his face. She gives him a questioning look. Dutta pats the bed and signals her to come beside him. Naku blushes 😳😳😳..and shakes her head in denial, all the time rubbing her hair with towel. Dutta gives her a stern look and pats the bed more aggressively. Naku finally comes close to him.
Naku tells Dutta shyly, "Aapko jaana hai na..."😳😳
Dutta puts his finger on her lips, "sshhhh". He goes close to her, holds her head and plants a light kiss on her cheeks, all the time his one hand moving towards the seam of the pillow. He takes out a box, gift wrapped and hands her the gift.
"Naku, tere ko mein jo bhi doonga, woh hameshaa kam hoga, mera toh pyaar bhi tere pyaar ke aage kam lagtaa hai, lekin mein tere ko phir bhi bolnaa chahtaa hai, ki mein tujhse bahut pyaar karta hai. Mein adhoora tha, tu mujhe poora ki. Mein bhatak raha tha, tu mujhe kinaare par laayi. Mujhe bus kinaare par laake, kabhie chod na nahi Naku!"...He stares at her for some time and Naku becomes emotional....😭😭
Dutta completes, "Shaadi ki pehli saalgiraa mubaarak ho!" ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Naku has no control over her tears...She starts crying. "Aapko yaad tha?"
Dutta looks surprised, "Ek hi toh anaadi khushi milli mujhe aaj iss din, Iss see jis din bhool gaya Naku, us din Dutta jeena chod degaa. Aaj ke din Bappa ne mujhe mere zindagi ka sab se anmol tofaa diyaa tha."
Naku cant stop crying. She hugs him. In the burst of tears, she is not able to wish him.
Dutta disengages from her, "Aaj mein tere muh par sirf muskaan dekhnaa chahtaa hoon. Kuch dinoan se, mera dookh tu, mujhse zyaada jee hai Naku, aur isliye meine yeh faislaa kiya hai ki aaj tu bhi khush rahegi aur tere liye, mein bhi. Jaanta hoon, mujhe dookhi dekh kar, tu zyaada dukhi ho jaati hai. Isliye meri pehli koshish, yeh tofaa! Khol isse, jis se ki yeh muskaan mein apne saath lekar jaaoon." 😳😊❤️❤️❤️
Naku opens the gift to find a locket with Bappa carved on the pendant. Naku instatly smiles but also gets emotional and keeps fluctuating between tears and smile. 😊😭😊😭😊😭
Dutta finds the reactions stimulating and tells her, "Arre, abhi khatam nahi hua tofaa. Locket ko bhi khol."
Naku opens the locket to find Dutta and her snap in it. She starts crying again and holds the locket close to her chest. "Isse mein apne dil ke paas rakhegi. Aapko bhi Saalgiraa mubaarak ho, par mein aap ke liye kuch nahi laayi."
Dutta holds her hand and looks at her, "Aaj mujhe bhi tujhe se kuch chahiye Naku." ❤️❤️
Naku looks at him surprised😲😲. "Mera jo bhi hai, woh aapka hai. Naku bhi aapki hai. Lekin phir bhi aisaa kuch hai, jo mein aapko de sakti hai, toh bolo."
Dutta keeps looking at her for extra few seconds then finally tells her, "Naku, mere saare rishtey ek ek kar ke khatam hote jaa rahein hai. Aaj mujhe yeh waada de, ki chahein kuch bhi ho jaaye, kuch bhi, tu mujhe kabhie chod ke nahi jaayegi."😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
Naku is shocked to hear this, "Aapko aaj bhi yeh waada chahiye? Mein kal bhi boli thi lekin aaj aapko waada karti hai, Naku apne saab ko kabhie nahi chodegi. Mein soch bhi nahi sakti ki aisaa kya ho saktaa hai jo Naku ko apne saab se door kar de, Lekin agar aisaa hua, toh Naku laash ho jaayegi.", saying this, Naku puts on the locket on her neck. ❤️❤️❤️
Dutta and Naku hug. Dutta then gets up to get ready and leaves for his adda.
Naku looks at him from behind, deep in thought.
"Mein aapko haar maan ne nahi degi. Mein nayi zindagi dikhaayegi, Aapko aapke naye naam se jeena sikhaayegi."
She now has a determined look. She lifts the phone and calls DP, "Aap se milnaa ka mere ko. Aur haan, apne saboot lekar aaiye ga."
Naku has worried look on her face, she look at imaginary Dutta's figure receding, "Aap ke liye, aap ke khilaaf bhi jaayegi Naku."🥱❤️❤️

Naku turns to find DP approaching the venue.
Naku confronts him, "Mein aapka saath dene ke liye tayaar hai. lekin yeh yaad rakhnaa ki agar mere saab ko ek kharonch bhi aayi, mein aapko chodegi nahi."🥱🥱🥱😡😡
DP looks at her for a second and smiles, "Mein khush hua ki tujhe meri baat samajh aayi. samajhdaari dikhaayi tune. Apna bhejaa thandaa karke sochti hai na, isliye sahi faislaa karti hai. Dutta ki tarah nahi, jo apne baap par gaya hai."
Naku ignores his bak bak and asks him, "Lekin pehle mein saboot dekhegi. Mein yahaan aayi phir se kyunki agar ghar ke andar dushman hai toh Mein usse saab ko aur khokhlaa nahi karne degi. bahut ho gaya."😡🥱
DP hands over the tapes to his guards and they play the tape in the portable tape recorder. The screen suddenly lightens and Naku can hear voices in the dark...
"Dutta ko pata bhi nahi chala ki usse kya dus gaya aur supriyaa yahaan se gaayab bhi ho gayi, apne us yaar ke saath." A laugh resonates and Naku suddenly sees Kala on the screen. She is shocked to see Kala there with Leela.😲😲😲😲😲
Leela laughs and toasts the drink, "Taayi, teraa plan toh bahut sahi tha. Saanp bhi mar gaya, laathi bhi nahi tooti, Dutta phi phans gaya uss Kaali chudel ke saath aur uskaa maansik santoolan bhi khrab ho gaya."😈😈😈😈
Kala gives an evil laugh, "Jab tak mein zinda hoon, Dutta ke paas aane waali har khushi ko mein das jaaongi. Aaj tak koi khushi usse meine jeene nahi di, aage bhi woh taras taa hee reh jaayegaa. Mere baap ko maarne ki yehi sazaa hai uski. Jaise mein Baap ke pyaar ke liye tadpi, woh bhi pyaar ke liye tadpegaa, har us pyaar ke liye, jis ki tamanna usmein jaagegi."😈😈😈
A figure whose back was towards Naku says, "Assa nako saange Kala. Tumhaara Bhai hai."
Kala turns to look at the figure in amazement. The figure turns to hide the evil smile and then NAKU sees AS on the screen.😲😲😲
AS laughs loudly 😈😈...and keeps laughing for a minute. "Jagdambe Jagdambe! Bhai, Betaa...."...She laughs again..."Uske Baap ko choo nahi paayi mein, lekin Bete se zindagi bhar tak badlaa loongi. Usse lagtaa hai woh rishtoan se bharpur hai, lekin usse kya maaloom ki uskaa, is duniyaa mein koi nahi hai. Supriya ko mein laayi kyunki mein jaanti thi ki woh kisi aur se pyaar karti thi. Isse achcha kya hota, seema ke zhakhm par Supriya ka hatodaa...hahaha....Aisaa choosoongi uski khushyoan ko, ki humaare jaane ke baad bhi, sukha ka sukha reh jaayegaa!...Us Naku ke saath jeeyegaa bhi lekin uskaa pyaar usse naseeb nahi hogaa...Nafrat ki zindagi jeeyenge dono! Aur yeh mera badlaa hoga! Zindagi bhar ki sazaa - Kaali Naku."😈😈😈😈
Leela, "Aayi saheb, lekin Naku usse pyaar karti hai?"
Kala intejects, "Arre, us kallo ke pyaar karne se kya hotaa hai, Bhaoo toh usse nafrat kartaa hai na. Aur hum jaante hain ki Bhaao dhokebaazoan ko kabhie maaf nahi karta."😈😈
All three laugh, and DP signals his guards to switch off the tape. He turns to look at NAKU who was shell shocked. Her feet didnt support her and she was holding on to the wall for support.😲😲😭😭😭
DP rushes to her but Naku stops him with her hand and shouts while crying, "Kya beegaade woh aap logoan ka? Kyun unhe jeena nahi dete? Woh in sab se itnaa pyaar karte aur yeh log....cheee!!!...In se achcha toh meraa BABA hai, kam se kam saamne se Kamina hai! In logoan ki tarah nahi, mukhote par mukhotaa, kitne mukhote hain yaahaan, boliye? Aap par bhi toh nahi?"😡😡😡😡😡😡
DP tries being tender to NAKU, "Beti, hume Dutta ko in se bachchaana hai."
Naku looks at him angrily, "Yeh sab aapki wajah se hai. Aap ke kiye ki sazaa, mere saab bhukat rahe hain. Mein poochti hai, kya galti thi us chote bachche ki, kyun jooaein mein daale unko?"😡😡😡😡😡😡
DP didnt know what to say, he has pain in his eyes. Naku wipes her tears and tells him, "Mein yahaan aur nahi ruk sakti hai. Meraa dum ghut raha hai. Aap theek samjhe, isse dekhne ke baad, mein aapka saath degi. Apne saab ke liye mein kuch bhi karegi. Yeh tape mere ko maangtaa. Aapka pachtaava kitna sachcha, mujhe nahi maaloom, par bappa aapko bachchaaye agar ismein bhi aapki koi chaal hai. Mein aapko bataati hai, ki kya karne kaa. Aaj saab aur meri saalgiraa ka jashn hai..."
She explains him what to do and then takes the tape from him. She is about to leave when DP speaks from behind, "Naku, Aaj mein bahut khush hai! Mere jaane ke baad, mere bete ke paas tu hogi! Tere pyaar Andhaa nahi hai, mushkil faisle lenaa jaantaa hai. Uskaa saaya banke rehna Naku, hameshaa."
