Why is the song selection so repettitive?

why do ppl always sing songs like laila mein laila and sing songs where they immitate rd burman when asha ji comes?

why do they always sing aa aa haseen and aake seedhi lagi in the comedy rounds?

why do they always sing tum jo mil gaye ho, that na na na na song (i think lata n kishore sang it), then they always sing aah dekhe zara, barso re, etc..

these songs are so repettitive...

ye that's true especially for the comedy rounds i see all musical shows having the same selection for songs.

i think these are more popular songs, and are more familiar to the audience. the better/popular the song the more votes it will get and more TRP's i gues. but yea they should have some variations in the song selection.

yea but there are so many popular songs ..

indian idol has better selection but horrible singers.

B/C people are lazy enough to find something new...

i'm a bit angry that they never sing songs of jatin lalit from the 90's..

I'm sure they pay these dumb contestants a bunch of moolah to sing mostly the new songs. 😲

i agree to obj....they always sing the same song they earlier selected in 2007 and 2005...it sounds boring and feels like they're not updated enough....it's kinda like they have an ipod with the songs they put in 2005 and 2007 and they are just shuffling those songs to perform this season...it's boring!!!🤢.....
