they should sing popular songs but they should try to sing the ones which have not already been sung before.

singing random, unknown or old songs will not attract audiences.

exactly..if uur gonna sing old songs then make sure u sing melodious ones...

REPETITIVE.

Yes the song selection is repetitive. And its extremely annoying. The comedy and shaadi themes overlapped in SRGMP and II. We had to hear the same songs twice. We heard Pratibha's beautiful rendition of Taare Hain Baraati while simultaenously having to hear Torsha murder the song.

Also, why is that year after year, the "Bengali" singer of the season sings the exact same songs. Last year Aneek, this year Soumen. Is it just me or does anyone else see it to?
