Dear Sharon,

Tardy me back to the party- I have taken so long for this that you have already put up Chapter 17 and the few questions / guess I had are absolutely redundant.

But I liked this chapter for it gave a glimpse of what is about to come and the humour was subtle and nice (Oh it is horrible when bosses start mouthing those business buzzwords)

But one thing is still confounding - if they had already devised a counter spell to Fican, why the worry in Chapter 17 (do not answer, I will read Chapter 17 and deduce it😊) And yes, Ragini is also an immune, and because she stopped taking anti depressants, she is slowly reverting to her immune status.

And the ending - is it Swara or do all immunes feel magical activity even if they cannot be influenced by it.

Okay - this is me being repetitive, but I hope to convince you - we need a sequel, we are way beyond the 'want' stage.

Yup, Chapter 17 will give you your answer. All immunes will feel the magical activity if they know how to differentiate it. In fact there's a FAQ session Ragini will go through. Most of your questions about how magic works in this world of WC will be answered.

Got it! If your demand is for a sequel, a sequel you shall have! 😆

Yup. I was surprised no one asked about that till now. The sneaky was Sanskaar and the proud onlooker was Luc. Why is that so? You will read about it soon. I promise. I wanted to answer that in Chapter 17 but had to edit it out for the length.

The game is bigger than Swara can handle.

Fican sensed the alteration in the way MSI is playing. So he guessed Swara as the new player in the squad. That's why he attempted to cause an injury to send her to dug out or... possibly out of the arena! But she turned to be a tough cookie! And her team mates are endearing, looking after her like a close knit family members do! I'm liking Lakshya a lot.He takes the responsibility to protect Swara in Sanskar's absence. He's the only source for Swara and us to know what Sanskar has hidden in that enigmatic mind/heart of him, as he is extremely reserved. I want the sequel of Whimsical corporation like many others do, but hope to get a hint of Swasan's future romantic journey before you end this one!

Just like Sanskar had discovered Swara, the latter discovered Ragini. Perhaps grey shaded Ragini(correct me if I'm wrong) is the answer to Fican's grey shaded magic spells?

You're doing a commendable job with this FF. So far your best work and one of the most unique concepts tried on Swasan.

I am trying to update by tomorrow. 😆

Writing in first person meant we as readers only know what Swara knows. Someone need to tell her what's behind the scenes. Luc and Sanskaar are pivotal roles in the story who know most of what's happening. So their conversations with Swara answer our questions about this world.

The sequel is on the cards. However, I really want to complete this one first and then during my semester break, I can start on my sequel.

Ragini will not be grey shaded here. The villains are already scary enough that I don't think I can write about a grey shaded character.😉

Thank you so much, dear. I can't take the complete credit as this is adapted from the book Enchanted Inc. However, I have changed some scenes and introduced new characters like Xyna.

Anyways last time I was right about Ragini in a way. Told that she has a grey shade. Her profession is one where someone can mix facts and fictions to win. It's upto her till what extent would she go? As a reader I know the stakes are high. Or may be I'm over thinking. But Fican can play dirty in courts too...

Anyways Poor RaginI! MSI folks in the name of the test left her horrified.Now she's thinking Swara is also a nutcase and needs shrink ! 😆

Side note - I was going through the above posts and read you reply to Dyuti, I wonder how I missed out that in my comment for Chapter 16 Anyway, I shall guess now - Sanskaar is sneaky because he is a precog and almost knew where exactly Swara would end up with. But why should Laksh be proud - maybe because she has proved to be better than their expectations and his "brother's" "find" is indeed exceptional.

Lol 😆 When I reread that part, I loved Luc's reaction. The poor guy is worried about the skeleton, who cares if it is a 'he' or a 'she', Right?

And Swara's talent is not simply being an immune, there are others too - it is a combination of her immunity, her attitude and the marketing knowledge that she brings - it is that combination which could be deadly and also the fact (???) that she is a good friend of Ragini (could the pre cog recognise this link too??)

Immunity is her inherent trait while marketing is her skill. What sets her apart from the other immunes is, she has that positive attitude to bring her skill to work along with tapping into her immunity. Her relation with Ragini might come as a surprise for the precog, then again, her association with Ragini has no link to what she has achieved in MSI till day.

Ragini and Laksh - in Swara's dreams - guess that was your hint of the spoiler surprise

Sigh- even magical worlds are not immune, though we could be immune to the magic. But what you wrote in the end, that is so true, most of the laws / rules / principles we have address the black /white , and when an action is in the gray area, where it must be judged in full perspective, it becomes subjective and prone to human emotions. Fican thinks himself to be quite clever, an influencing spell - where the spell in itself cannot be classified as good or evil, it being entirely dependant on what the user intends. They are in a bit of a spot right, though Swara has Ragini in mind, which Chapter 18 confirms.

I am glad you agree on this. This idea is from my philosophy debates. There was one topic where it says, probably what we know is correct is actually wrong. Because, different people have their own sets of dos and donts and with the cross cultural teams we work these days, it is possible for those ideals to clash.
