Thanks so very much dear. 🤗 So happy that you loved it.

I also hope SwaSan would take a polite but firm stand with Shekar. When they didn't do anything wrong, it's ridiculous that they have to be apart.

I would love to see Shomi showing the mirror to Shekar too. Let's hope. 😊

You just put into words what all Swasanians want to see in the show.
But these CVS will never give us what we want.

Swara's intense pain on her separation from Sanskar for no fault of theirs was so beautifully described.
I loved how she was firm on her decision to be with her husband without hurting her father.

Shekar is a blot on fatherhood when it comes to Swara. It's always been about Ragini for him.
Loved Sharmista, she's the best mom ever for showing the mirror to Shekar.

Absolutely loved this.

Thanks Vini sweetheart. 🤗 🤗

So happy that you loved this OS, and the portrayal of Swara's intense pain on being separated from her husband, her soulmate, her love.

Shekar is completely mad. Why is he punishing one daughter and son in law, for the pain his other daughter underwent at the janis of her ex husband? It's completely illogical because Sanskaar and Swara had nothing to do with either Lakshya's current plan, or in Ragini's previous scheming.

I SO want to see SwaSan taking a respectful but firm stand with Shekar. Shomi too, needs to be firm with him

Lots of Love

Thanks so much Sonu sweetheart. I agree with you completely, I want SwaSan and Shomi to confront Shekar, make him realize that what he is doing is completely illogical and unjustified.

Very true, Swara now has all the rights and duties of a bride. She and Sanskaar are soulmates, meant to be together. She should not allow her father to be so unreasonable and say that she should renounce her husband.

Thanks again dear

Lots of Love

At Last got the time to read this.. Absolutely marvelous. Oh how I wish this to happen in actual in SR but as we know it will not happen.
I so loved Sharmishta in this , gave it right back to Shekhar he so deserved it. Its time someone made him realise that Swara has suffered the most but she never gave up and has always fought back.

My dear darling sis🤗(As you asked in Kairos, you can most certainly call me doll as all my other sisters do😉😳)

Okay, I have already read this one a few times (there I can see my notes glaring at me😡) but what to do, A swasan addict I am and I can't resist something of this caliber!

Coming to the nerve wracking current track this is based on, I think compared to the line up the CVs seems to have in store for us, this is like honey dipping from a chocolate corn filled with ice cream...(You get the idea!)

I so want someone to help me with the major confusion I have when it comes to a certain Mr. Shekar Gadodia's brain, spine and a several other body parts. Their presence is as annoying as their absence! So this man suddenly, get's a severe injury on his ego and decides that his utterly innocent Daamad, and always self sacrificing Beti should pay of it? Well done Mr. Gadodia, you just made my job of hating you ten times easier! I so want this man to get an earful on the show Viji darling thank you for what your Shomi did! This🤗is for that!

Now that I vented the venom out...talking in terms of Snakes that is😉I think this is the sane way the twist could take, but it won't as we know. We won't be getting any happily ever afters, riding in to sunsets or cute kiddos any time soon.

But for once I want Swara to think, if not anything else, think, about her husband too. You know my view on extra selfless heroines...As we discussed in Icarus (Where SK is promoting selfishness) I think one should be selfish when it comes to some extreme matters. There's nothing wrong in having a spine. Your Swara stole my heart in that.

What I loved foremost was her thoughts where she accepts that Ragini, no matter how "Good" she is now, deserves a part of the misfortune she is going through for what she had unleashed earlier upon the Maheshwaris. That is so true, I mean I do agree that Lakshya isn't any better, or that his way of punishing her is as foolish as Ragini's way of redeeming herself, but Swara most wisely admits that her sister had collected the outcome of her own actions!

Then she is again right when it comes to her Dadi and Baba. It's only the Laado's pain they are concerned about aren't they?

Then comes the part I adored. Swara missing Sanskar and he appearing; there❤️went my heart! These two...will kill me someday! That was so wonderfully worded as how firstly swara wondered this was a trick of her mind, which is trying to keep her strong and going by projecting Sanskar in front of her! Then she realizes he is indeed there and runs to his arms! God, that was one wonderful moment. I so wanted to cry here!😊

Then comes my enemies😡Just to ruin that awesome hug! Seriously, I hate you more Mr. Gadodia! Just stay away from my path and my SwaSan from here on!

Then Sanskar...for some reason he reminded me of the one you created in my once favorite Earth where he stands straight against Annapurna and says it is Swara who should decide what to be done with their marriage, no one else. The power I felt him unleashing there touched me again as you wrote how he made his stand clear for Shekar here.

And Swara understanding and taking the opportunity declares her decision to accompany her husband. Bravo! For both of them⭐️

Then Shomi, comes and does what I'm itching to do. I love this Ma! She knows when to use her mouth! There is nothing I can add to all she said. Just my all agreeing nod here and there and then at the end a pat in the back and a "Well done!" Great going Shomi!

Then Swara and Sanskar finally leaves. With Shekar's half hearted (He is still not strong enough to say no, or yes huh? Half hearted is as bad as nothing!) and Shomi's all loving, warm and well meant blessings.

It sort of draws a parallel to the event of Bidaai of their fake marriage too (Only shekar played no part there). This part finally reduced me to tears. Oh so lovely it was to imagine. How they went off, hand in hand, with only each other in mind. Wonderful, wonderful and wonderful.⭐️⭐️

Love you loads sis,
Saku

Edit:

While reading for the tenth time I just realized in my boiling hatred for Shekar, I forgot to mention how much I loved that Mehendi reference. I think you touched upon this same topic on Old sins...too, where Swara is gazing at her mehendi, of dark brownish tint with the S right in the center of her palm and wonders how Sanskar has become the center of her life similarly. In both stories, differently, the moment had been so soothingly, perfect. I love it when you write that kind of deep emotional stuff Viji darling, which aren't conveyed straightforward, but have a very twisted, hidden sense of profound meaning. It's like opening the shell of an oyster and finding a pearl within...so beautifully gleaming!

Love,
Saku

My Dear, Darling Gudiya. 😊 🤗 🤗

I was so very touched by your comment for this OS. Your feedback always means a ton to me, you know that, and this one was so layered, so intricate, it just made me feel over the moon in a completely contented kind of way.

I think we both know that this kind of straightforward resolution isn't going to be shown in the serial. 😕 I so wish it would be, but I have very low hopes, to be frank.

My idea in writing this OS, was more like a catharsis for myself and for the pals who read it, to envisage how the situation could be handled, in a logical and rational manner. (As opposed to silly, martyr complex level of self sacrificing nonsense!)

Shekar Gadodia is a pathetic excuse for a father, a husband, and a man in general. Shows no spine or guts when needed, and then miraculously grows a backbone for all the wrong reasons, misdirecting that will against the wrong people! I still feel, more than his rage and sorrow at what Lakshya meted out to Ragini; he is also motivated by his hurt ego that Lakshya dared slap him back.

And some perspective would be highly in order, I think--not only for Shekar, but for Dadi too. What Lakshya did was heinous, no doubt. But what did Ragini do before? She was no innocent ewe lamb, or are they still falling for her babe in the woods act?

Basically, one can't provoke, deceive, connive, malign and cheat---and then, cry wolf when the terrible, perhaps disproportionate response is meted out. The mere fact of Lakshya committing such a harsh misdemeanor against Ragini, cannot and would not wash away her litany of sins in the past, na?

Chalo, lets forget about Shekar---he does not deserve to be remembered anyway!

Thanks so much for your lovely words about the SwaSan moment, darling. Yes, I really enjoyed writing that bit of Swara yearning for her husband, and when she sees him there at the baadi, doubt whether her intensely pining mind is hallucinating his presence! 😉 And you are perfectly right, there were elements of the mehndi scene in my "Old Sins Cast Long Shadows" too--chapter 2 in fact.
You have no idea how thrilled I am that you spotted those links and recalled both Old Sins (Mehndi scene) and Earth (Sanskaar's calm determination to let Swara decide). 🤗
🤗 . In Earth, of course, I would think Sanskaar was slightly in doubt of the depth of Swara's feelings for him---she hadn't yet fully confessed her love to him after all, though he had gauged her changing feelings quite well, by the warmth and affection she was showering upon him.

In this OS, I would think Sanskaar is completely assured of Swara's love. The only point he's worried about is, whether she would let herself get browbeaten by her father's misguided sense of "avenging" the pain meted out to his laado!

It gave me so much joy to think that my Gudiya recalls details from my previous OS's.
🤗 I am still floating in 7th heaven somewhere now!

I would so dearly love to see this happen, darling. Sanskaar and Swara to take a respectful, but form stand with Shekar, that they are lawfully married, are irrevocably, completely in love with each other, and have nothing to do with what Lakshya dod to Ragini or what Ragini did to Lakshya. Why should they be penalized for a crime they didn't do?

And I would certainly love to see a strong Shomi, standing firmly in support of her daughter's happiness. She needs to show the mirror to Shekar. He can't pick and choose when to be determined and when not!!

All the Very Best for your Exams, Gudiya!

Lots of Love,

---Viji

And Unres:

Dear Viji,

Those lines - Mangalam Bhagwan Vishnu - those words conjure up the 'mandir wala sindoor' scene. God! the goosebumps that scene gives me! Truly one of most memorable SwaSan scenes and your story brings back memories of that scene.

So Swara decides not to let her father ride roughshod over her - Thank god - she decided that. And then, as if her memories conjured him, Sanskaar is there. That hug you described - we can never have enough of them!

Dadi and Shekhar never cease to amaze me (pure 100% unadulterated sarcasm) - they can only see their precious ladoo (somehow the use of precious here reminds me of there Lord of Rings Trilogy😉) suffering but not Swara. 😡
And Sharmistha finally snapped - yes it was high time she did indeed (Shekhar is one rare human being who grows a spine at the precise instant that it is not needed and becomes firm with people who do not deserve it.).
And she truly means it, that she is Ragini's mother as much as Swara, despite not sharing a blood bond with Ragini. Shekhar on the other hand (not much use writing about him). Finally for whatever reason, he does agree to let Swara go with Sanskaar.

Beautiful OS - Could we at least hope for a watered down version of this in the serial? Guess it is too much to aks for.

Love
Nyna

Nyna sweetie 🤗 🤗

Your comment had me going 🤣 🤣 at the reference to LOTR wala "Precious". 🤣 Aoowww Gaaawwwddd, Ragini certainly fits the bill there! The One Ring, she is for sure! Does that mean Lakshya is Gollum? 🤣 🤣

That hymn "Mangalam Bhagwan Vishnu" is so powerful, it used to resonate with me before too. And now, after that goose bump inducing SwaSan sindhoor marriage scene, anytime I hear that chant, I think of that scene! It was just amazing, na? One of the very finest moments on TV, or any visual medium for that matter. Completely spellbinding!

I do SO want to see Swara and Sanskaar standing up for their rights here. Its ridiculous, the fact that they are lawfully married, completely and irrevocably in love, and still condemned to stay apart. For no fault of theirs! Ridiculous!

Shekar is indeed an unique museum piece. A man who never showed any spine or guts when needed, but grows a backbone and willpower miraculously when misdirecting it against the wrong people! I would love it if SwaSan respectfully but firmly told him, that he cannot condemn them for something they didn't take any part in.

And Shomi---she has opposed Shekar's myopic, misguided decisions in the past. She really needs to do the same now; this is a chance to see what a concerned, powerful mom she is. I dearly hope...

I'm not sure about seeing this scene in the serial...but if we do, I will probably be dancing all over the place. 😉

Hey Simi sweetheart 🤗 🤗 🤗

Hahaha I don't know about any fortune teller abilities! 😆 I wrote this as I so wanted to see such a sequence on the serial.

Is there such a spoiler? I heard something today that Swara would go back to MM to save Annapurna and Sujata from a domestic violence case lodged by Shekar/ Dadi?

God knows yaar. I don't know why they put so much melodrama in the serial. Some quiet and peaceful together time for SwaSan would be pure bliss. But they are always put through some or the other emotional trauma!

Lets hope we see a quick resolution, and SwaSan back together in the serial. 😊

Lots of Love,

New beginning starts for swasan...in this OS.. 😳

Really thank u so much ...for giving this. Wonderful..fantastic OS...

Continue ur work...will waiting for next...

Thank you..
👏

Hey Leku my dear...🤗 🤗

Thanks for all the lovely words about this OS. I'm so very happy that you loved it.

Am so glad you liked the SwaSan moments during their marriage, and where she is yearning for his presence, looking at his name on the mehndi in her palms.

I also really want to see a determined SwaSan, telling Shekar politely but firmly, that he cannot punish them for something they didn't do. They are lawfully husband and wife, and they love each other deeply and irrevocably; why should Shekar keep them apart?

And I do want to see a strong Shomi too, standing up for her daughter's happiness. I don't think we'll get this in the serial, but am wishing for it! 😉

Sanskaar is such a protective and supportive hubby na---you are right, from the time of their pretend marriage, he has been such a pillar of support to Swara. They really are soulmates, two halves of a seamless, complete whole.

Thanks so very much for all your lovely words Leku my dear.

Lots of Love,

---Viji
