I should say this, it took me a moment to actually imagine the set of people in a different attire but once that's done the story just flowed till one point. The metaphorical description of swara and Sanskar. The sun dawned upon his darkest nights at last. Take A bow for that. It was amazing how you externalised his darkened soul and her radiant joyful one and so deftly painted them on to the canvases of our imaginations. The sun beaming behind her as he stood frozen in his darkness:)

I love royal setting a lot and it will be amazing to read about Swasan love story in such a beautiful setting..😳😳

The prologue was quite interesting..😃😃 Rani Sahiba AP came to rescue Prince Sanskaar from the dark dungeons..👏 I just loved the way you portrayed the Queenly aura of AP and the determined and strong character of Prince Sanskaar..😳

And then the first part😳 began with the arrival of the Gadodias.. So Ragini and Lakshya's match is already set by the elders..😉 And I am quite sure Lakshya is going to fall for Swara..😆

So Sanskaar is nor mentally ill after all..So he is planning for some revenge..And I am so shocked to read that he is still held in a prison, even at home..😲

And what I loved the most was the soul connection between Swasan..Wow Shruti..I was having goosebumps reading about the way Swara's eyes found him and Sanskaar's eyes kept darting towards her all the time..Swara could feel his thoughts..👏 I am already a fan of this story..😳😳

Eagerly awaiting the next update..😃

Really liked the way you etched the meeting of the Maheshwaris and the Gadodias, the interactions and the atmosphere, the setting and the dressing, 😊 bringing to life a meeting which happens in the early years of the Nineteenth century. I could almost see the scene unfolding before my eyes, with the sepia toned tint of my imagination evoked by your historical setting! 😛

I found the family dynamics you'd explained fascinating. Janaki being apparently more indulgent towards her step daughter---the effervescent, ebullient, cheerful Swara. And the placid, pale, retiring Ragini being closer to her step mom, the beautiful, captivating Sharmishta.

And Sujata! 🤢 She openly says she's closer to Lakshya though she's Sanskaar's Mom, and happily also says that Annapurna is closer to her own son. What a weird mother she is...😕

But the highlight of the chapter for me, was your adaptation of that memorable "soul connect" scene from the serial, to illustrate the stirrings of a similar bond between an angel flitting about in the bright sunlit day, and a demon cloaked in the darkness of a barred room. 👏 👏 Angels & Demons, indeed!

And the way the powerful bond drew their gaze towards each other was awesome. Swara could not help but notice the burning intensity in his perusal, even though at such a distance. 😉 I just worry since Sanskaar has decided he "hates" her, since she represents all the joy, all the sunniness in his nature which was lost, no, stolen from him. I just fear that in the mistaken notion of this "hate"---which we all know isn't hate at all---he would take some steps which really wound that gentle spirit. But he would realize, soon enough, wouldn't he, what the powerful, blazing emotion he feels is?

Waiting for the angel and the demon to be drawn towards each other, powerless against their intertwined destinies! 😳 ☺️ And then, of course, ultimately, the demon would be revealed to be no less than a prince! 😉 Ohh...the feels...Shru, can't wait! 😊

The Sanskaar who is equally brave, stoic, yet a live bomb, just ticking away...waiting to explode ! AP again here, a strong, awe inspiring and truly imperial Maa to her Sanskaar ! A strong Shomi, indulgent to her Ragini, and a Ragini who is again that simple guileless belle..but in this case, already showing signs of not being that in her essence..Superb! 😃

The surprise of course was Janaki...alive, warm, loving her Swara ! Youve got me wondering why she is alive !😆 She must have a strong role to play then !

But the moment that caught me, was that cosmic connection of an interlude between Swasan.👍🏼..so their attention is already caught..they are already connected, despite not even being in touching/good viewing distance of one another ! Loved that brief awareness of one another, despite all the distractions all around them !

With the palace intrigues, the juxtaposition of battles royale, the earthy 'feels' of the dungeons, the physical torture of the body holding a mind that remained untamed, the medieval age atmosphere...this is one tale that I cant wait to see taking off and capture centre stage of all our collective attention !

Shruti..🤗..what a fantastic start to your story...its absolutely spell binding 👏...I have always been enamoured with stories dealing with royalty and your story has the backdrop of the rajputana, my eternal favourite...so how can I miss out on this..😉...history by default always beckons me...
