Priyanka Chopra returned home for a short break to celebrate Thanksgiving with her family, even as she continues shooting for SS Rajamouli’s ambitious project GlobeTrotter in Varanasi. Her brief visit, filled with quiet family moments, drew wide attention online after she shared a heartfelt note about the importance of home.
On Instagram, Priyanka posted a series of photos and wrote, “back home for a quick minute. Sometimes I catch myself being in complete awe of the beauty, wonder and love all around me. This thanksgiving I’m so grateful for health, joy, togetherness and the simple pleasures of life that we tend to take for granted sometimes. Im so grateful for my family, friends, team and everyone that makes this crazy ride feel easier. After spending so long away from home, I’m just reminding myself one of the best things in life is being able to be surrounded by your loved ones. With immense gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating." The actor’s emotional message resonated with many who have been following her schedule closely over the past year.
Alongside this, a new photo from the GlobeTrotter set also stirred interest. A fan page named Jerryxmimi shared an image showing Priyanka posing with her co star Mahesh Babu and a group of musicians. Shot in Hyderabad a few days ago, the picture marks the first time both actors have been seen together during the film’s ongoing production.

Mahesh Babu appears in a navy tee and a grey cap. The caption read, “Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu in Hyderabad few days ago celebrating his birthday #SSMB29 #GlobeTrotter."
Fans reacted instantly. One comment read, “Omg, finally a pic of them together. It’s going to be super duper blockbuster globally,” while many others added emojis and birthday wishes.
Mahesh Babu, who turned 50 on August 9, received a major update from Rajamouli on the same day. The filmmaker said the first reveal of GlobeTrotter will arrive in November 2025. Explaining the wait, Rajamouli said, “the story and scope of this film are so vast that I feel mere pictures or press conferences cannot do it justice."
He added that the team is working on something that captures the essence and world of the film, promising a “NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN reveal" next year.
