Hey guys,

So as you know I have already started one SS on Swasan, but I need to know how Ragini plays her cards before continuing it. So in the meantime I decided to write an OS, but unfortunately it turned out too long and so I've turned it into a TS (two shot) . I'll post the second part soon (hopefully tomorrow). This TS mainly only involves Swara. i don't want to give any more information as it may spoil the TS. Also I know it sounds really similar to my SS but I promise you its not. I hope you guys like it. Oh and I haven't proofread it so please excuse any grammatical/spelling errors. P. S. I know some parts are a little confusing but I promise everything will be cleared on the second part.

The story starts off after Swaragini return to the baadi, once Ragini's truth has come out.

***

Location: Swara's Room

Swara was finally done packing her bag. There were so many things she had to remember to take other than the basics; her phone charger, her guitar picks, her comb, her favourite lotion, and etc. She hoped she wasn't forgetting anything, she checked over her list multiple times, looked through her room to make sure there wasn't anything important missing. Finally, after checking, double-checking, and triple-checking, she came to the conclusion that she had packed everything she would need. That's when she sat down on her bed and started thinking about the situation at hand again. Packing, though was important, Swara had put a little too much thought into it. That's why she had been packing for the last six hours. "No sane person packs for six hours," Swara thought to herself. But of course, she had needed to. It was her way of escaping all the thoughts that she was so desperate to avoid. And now that she was finally done packing, she was faced by them once again.

"Am I making the right decision?" she asked herself. Swara reminisced being stubborn and deciding that she wanted, no, NEEDED divorce from Sanskaar.

She remembered trying to convince Laksh to give Ragini a second chance. "Laksh, tumne khud yeh shaadi karneka phaisla liya tha. Abh tumhaara farz banta hai ki tum apne decision ke consequences face karo aur yeh shaadi nibhaane ki koshish karo." But of course, Laksh had flatly refused, and told her he was still waiting for her, his Swara. Swara cringed remembering his words.

Finally Swara recalled Ragini touching the wire to electrocute herself, and then pretending to have lost her memory. The only reason Swara knew Ragini was pretending was because Ragini had told her afterwards. Ragini had known Swara would always support her being her sister. Swara had been mad at Ragini for lying again, but in the end she had supported her. Of course she would; that's what sisters did.

"Of course I'm making the right decision," Swara told herself. Now was not the time to think, it was the time to act. Swara had to be strong. She had made her decision, and she was going to stick to it. For one last time Swara revaluated her decision and mentally made a list of the pros and cons.

Cons:

1) Leaving her family. All Swara had wanted her whole life was a nice happy family. When she had finally found her family, she had worked so hard to bring it together. And now that they were finally together, she had to leave them. This was probably the biggest con. She knew she was going to miss her Maa, Baba, Dada, Dadi, Dida, and Ragini greatly. "But leaving them was inevitable," she thought, trying to console herself.

2) Hurting the people in her life. Swara knew that this decision of hers was hurting some of the most important people in her life. Her family of course was quite hurt with this decision of hers. They had told her to rethink it and she had, obviously. "There is no other better way out of this situation," Swara reminded herself. That's what she had said to her family too. She had hoped that they would be a little more understanding; they were her family after all. She had explained everything, laid out all the facts, and tried her best to convince them. She had even asked if they saw a better alternative, but no one had had one, so they had had no choice but to agree to her decision. "Sanskaar..." she remembered. Of all the people her decision hurt, it probably hurt Sanskaar the most. And for some reason, this made her feel really guilty. Sanskaar had been a true friend to her, always there to support, defend, and console her. Swara remembered all the times she had yelled at, scolded, and insulted him. She had realized a bit later that it had been very wrong of her to do that, and apologized to him for the same. The two of them had mended their friendship and were at good terms with each other now. And now this decision of hers was again going to strain their relationship; it was going to hurt him, a lot. But once again, there was no other way out.

Pros:

1) Laksh would finally stop running after her and learn to live with Ragini. This was the biggest pro of her decision. Now that Laksh had learned the truth, he had somehow come up with the idea that they could reunite. He had been trying to convince her for a second chance for the past few days, but there was no way that was going to happen. Laksh was Ragini's husband and would always be. And now with her out of the way, they would be able to move ahead with their marriage. Their marriage had been based off a lie. It was still based off a lie; the lie that Ragini had lost her memory. But Ragini had a good reason for lying, so it was okay. And besides, she couldn't let her sister face heartbreak a third time by the same person; a person she (Ragini) loved so deeply.

2) She would not be looked down upon by the society. Swara had never been one to care much about what the society thought of her, what had they done for her anyways? But her family did. The family's reputation had been tarnished by Ragini's deeds, and then the divorce news of Swara and Sanskaar had worsened their image even more. The news of Ragini and Laksh reuniting along with this decision of hers would fix that.

3) Her happiness. Swara knew that this decision of hers was quite selfish, as it was hurting most, if not all of the important people in her life. She felt guilty for that. But she knew in the long run it helped everyone, and that made her happy. Maybe no one was happy with her decision right now, but soon they would see that what she had decided had been right after all, and this made her feel good about herself.

"So there," Swara thought to herself, "my decision is justified and I'm sure everything will work out in the end."

Swara had planned out this day very carefully and made a foolproof plan of how things were going to happen, and so far everything was going as planned and on schedule. She had decided beforehand that she was going to be strong and not cry today. Even though she was leaving her family, she wasn't going to cry. Otherwise, they would think that she was regretting her decision, and she definitely didn't want them to think that.

"Chalo, Swara!" Ragini called, "Humaare jaane ka samay hogaya." They were both going together; Ragini and Swara. Both of them were starting their lives afresh. Swara grabbed her bags and went and put them in the taxi that had come to pick them up. Swara's Dada and Dadi were standing on the porch, and Swara walked towards them. She touched their toes and took their aashirvaad. Dadi had tears in her eyes seeing them go. She told Swara that she would miss her dearly, and wished her luck with her decision. Dada as usual, didn't have much to say. Ragini too went to touch Dada and Dadi's feet, and both of them blessed her, because they were under the illusion that she had lost her memory. Swaragini went and sat in the car with their parents who were coming to drop them off.

A very nice start and am looking forward to reading the next part. This Swara is at least cognizant of the fact that she is hurting Sanskaar with this decision of hers...
