Hey guys, so I'm back with the second part of the TS. It's different from what you guys were probably expecting, but I hope you like it.

"Chalo, Swara!" Ragini called, "Humaare jaane ka samay hogaya." They were both going together; Ragini and Swara. Both of them were starting their lives afresh. Swara grabbed her bags and went and put them in the taxi that had come to pick them up. Swara's Dada and Dadi were standing on the porch, and Swara walked towards them. She touched their toes and took their aashirvaad. Dadi had tears in her eyes seeing them go. She told Swara that she would miss her dearly, and wished her luck with her decision. Dada as usual, didn't have much to say. Ragini too went to touch Dada and Dadi's feet, and both of them blessed her, because they were under the illusion that she had lost her memory. Swaragini went and sat in the car with their parents who were coming to drop them off.

After a few minutes, they reached the Maheshwari house. Everyone got out and Shekhar asked the taxi driver to wait outside as they would be back soon. Swara helped Ragini unload her bags and together the four of them went inside. Everyone was in the hall downstairs waiting for them. Swara searched for Sanskaar, but wasn't able to find him. Laksh begrudgingly came up the stairs to help Ragini with her luggage. He looked at Swara with despair in her eyes. "Oh yeah," Swara thought to herself, "Laksh is probably upset by this decision of mine too." But that didn't bother her much. Swara descended the stairs of the Maheshwari house and went to greet everyone. First she went and touched Durga Prasad's toes and took his aashirvaad.

"Swara."

"Jee bade papa, mera matlab Durga Prasad uncle?"

"Hum samaj sakte hai, tumpe kya beet rahi hogi aur tumne yeh Mumbai jaane ka phaisla kyun liya. Hum dua karte hai ki tumhe apni zindagi main woh sabh mille jiske tum laayak ho. Hum phirse ek baar keh rahe hai, ki yeh ghar ke darwaaze humesha tumhaare liye khulle hai."

"Jee shukhriya uncle."

And with that the rest of the Maheshwaris, except Laksh and Sanskaar, wished her best of luck with her future endeavors, and soon Laksh and Ragini too came down. Laksh looked at Swara desperately "Swara, apne phaisle ke baare main ek baar phir soch lo na, please."

Swara looked away. "Main bohot baar soch chukki hoon, aur mera decision final hai, main abh apna phaisla nahi badloongi."

Laksh looked down sadly.

"Ragini ka khyaal rakhna."

She looked at Ragini, but didn't say anything to her, because of the memory loss drama.

Swara turned to everyone else joined her hands together and said, "Abh main chalti hoon, Namaste." Shekhar, Sumi, and Swara went back upstairs and out. Swara wondered why Sanskaar hadn't come to say bye to her.

Just then Sanskaar's car came in through the gates of the house. He quickly parked his car and then came outside.

"Swara."

"Hi Sanskaar."

"Kya main tumhaare saath station aa sakta hoon, tumhe chodne ke liye?"

"Haan, zaroor."

All four of them got in the taxi. Swara sat at the back with both her parents on either side of her. Sanskaar sat in the passenger seat, and every few seconds, he would glance at the rear-view mirror to look at Swara. He really hoped he would get a chance to speak to her soon. He didn't know when he would be able to see her again after today.

Once they reached the station, Shekhar and Sanskaar unloaded Swara's bags and Sumi paid the taxidriver. Together the four of them went to the train. All of them went inside and found Swara's compartment. Fortunately, no one else was there. Sanskaar put her bags up on the shelves for her.

"Shona," Sumi said with tears in her eyes, "Jabh tum Mumbai pohchogi, tabh tumhaare Chacha tumhe lene aa jayenge. Unn ke saath ache se rehna." Swara nodded. "Aur time mille tabh apni Dida se baat ker lena phone pe. Woh aana chahti thi tum hare jaane se pehle, par nahi aa paayi. Mumbai pohchne ke baad humme bhi phone kardena."

"Haan maa."

"Abh hum chalte hai, apna khyaal rakhna."

Swara hugged Sumi and Shekhar one last time, and then they left. Now it was just Swara and Sanskaar left in the compartment, and there were still twenty minutes till the train left.

Swara looked at Sanskaar to find him watching her. Without thinking, she went up to him, threw herself around him, and started crying. Sanskaar was surprised; he hadn't expected her to break down like this. He too held her comfortingly. Swara looked up.

"Sanskaar, maine sahi phaisla liya hai naa? Main sabh ko yeh kehti aayi hoon ki main apne phaisle ke baare mein sure hoon, aur main jo bhi kar rahi hoon woh theek hai. Lekin main khud nahi jaanti ki yeh phaisla sahi hai ya nahi."

Sanskaar made Swara sit down on the seat and sat beside her.

"Swara, mere hisaab se, tumne bilkul sahi phaisla liya hai. Abh tak, tum sirf doosro ke liye jeeyi ho. Abh waqt aa gaya hai ki tum apne aap ke liye bhi kuch karo. Aur agar phir bhi tum sure nahi ho, toh apne dil se pucho. Kehte hai ki zindagi ke chote phaisle dimaag se lene chaahiye, aur bade phaisle, dil se. Toh tum apne dil se pucho, kya yeh phaisla tumhaare liye theek hai ya nahi?"

Swara thought about it for a second. She looked at him. And in that moment she realized that Sanskaar was the best friend she had ever had in her entire life, and she felt sad to be leaving him. But then she recalled how much preparation and thought she had put into this decision of hers. There was no going back now, she couldn't be weak now. Swara turned and faced Sanskaar.

"Tum theek keh rahe ho. Waise bhi abh bohot derr ho chukki hai. Thank you Sanskaar. Aaj tak tumne mere liye jo kuch bhi kiya uss liye. Tum mere sabh se ache dost ho. Main jaa toh rahi hoon, par main naa tumhe roz phone karoongi, tumhe tang karne ke liye," she told him with a smile.

"Acha, koi baat nahi, main bhi tumhe tang karta rahoonga," he replied smilingly.

Swara looked at the time. "Train ke nikal ne ka waqt ho raha hai Sanskaar."

Sanskaar looked down sadly. "Kya main tumhaari ek tasveer kheech sakta hoon Swara?"

"Par kyun?"

"Jabh tum waapis aogi na, tabh hum compare karenge, ki Mumbai ne tumhe kitna badal diya hai."

"Acha theek hai."

Swara posed for a picture and Sanskaar snapped it on his phone. He looked at her trying to take in every detail, because God knew when he would be able to see her again.

"Kya hua, aise kyun dekh rahe ho."

"Kuch nahi Swara, abh main chalta hoon. Pohchne ke baad tum phone kardena. Aur haan, apna khyaal rakhna."

"Theek hai, tum bhi apna khyaal rakhna. Aur ghar pe bhi sabh ka khyaal rakhna."

Sanskaar nodded. Turned around and left. Swara closed the door of her compartment and sat down.

As Sanskaar walked out of the station he thought of Swara. He remembered all the moments they had spent together. For the first time since she had left him, he felt a little happy. Not for himself, but for her because she was following her heart and because she was happy. Sanskaar had heard somewhere that if you love something you should let it go; if it comes back to you, it's yours, and if not, it never was. He didn't know when he would see her again, and he didn't know what destiny had in store for them. But he knew that he would wait for her forever. And he now had something to look forward to; the next time he would meet Swara.

A few minutes after Sanskaar had left, the train had started to move. And Swara realized that with passing second, she was going farther and farther away from her past, and closer and closer to her future. "How did it come to this?" she asked herself, "How did I make such a big decision in such a small period of time?" And then she remembered the events of the past few days. After the three of them had exposed Ragini, Swaragini had returned home. Laksh and Sanskaar had signed the divorce papers and sent them to the Baadi. Swaragini too had signed the divorce papers freeing the four of them from their respective marriages. Everyone had tried convincing Swara and Sanskaar to give their relationship another chance. But Swara had refused, she knew that none of them would be happy with this decision. Laksh had started nagging her to return to him as soon as Ragini's truth had come out. She had refused him so many times, but he still kept persisting.

Then on Shashti, they had celebrated the Durga Pooja at the baadi. That was the day Ragini had touched the livewire in an attempt to kill herself. After she survived, she had decided to act like she had lost her memory so that Laksh would accept her again. At first Swara, along with the rest of the family, had fallen into Ragini's trap. Swara had decided that she would return to the Maheshwari House too with Ragini. The elders had decided that they would both go back together the day after Dashami.

On Saptami, Ragini had told Swara that she was just faking a memory loss. At first Swara had been enraged. But in the end she had decided that she wouldn't tell anyone. She also realized that now there was no need for her to go back to the Maheshwari House, this was Ragini's battle and she was strong enough to fight it herself. So she told everyone that she wouldn't be coming back. She had reasoned that Ragini lost her memory until the day her and Laksh got married. So if Ragini herself didn't want Swara in the Maheshwari House, what was the point of going back? This had made Laksh very happy, and he again started nagging her. When she fell during the Dhunachi Dance, he had come to catch her, thinking she would see his love and return to him.

On Ashtami, Swara had decided that enough was enough. Something needed to be done to stop Laksh from running after her. Something needed to be done to fix her family's image in the society. And something needed to be done for her. She was tired of fighting with everyone and she needed to get away from all of this, for herself. So she decided that she was going to Mumbai. Her plan was only to stay there for a few months. Enough time for Ragini to convince Laksh to accept her. Enough time for the society to forget everything. And enough time for her to find herself again. In all of these missions of hers, she had lost herself, and she decided she needed to go back to being the old Swara. So while everyone else was busy with the Sandhipuja and Anjali, she had started planning her departure.

On Navami, early in the morning, she had informed her plans to her family; that she was leaving for Mumbai the day after tomorrow. They had obviously not wanted her to leave so early. But Swara had been stubborn. She had known that the earlier she left the better. And if she stayed behind for a day or two extra she may change her mind. When they had been alone, Ragini had questioned her about why she was leaving. Ragini had known that Laksh was the reason Swara was leaving, and asked her (Swara) not to make such a big sacrifice for her (Ragini). But Swara told her that she was actually leaving for herself, because she needed to be alone. After much persuading, Ragini had finally believed that Laksh wasn't the reason Swara was leaving, so she had agreed to let Swara go. Later that day, Swara had gone to meet Sanskaar, and had apologized to him for her rude behaviour. He forgave her and they went back to being friends again. She had also told him about her decision to move to Mumbai for a while. He, as always, had been very supportive, and told her that she had made the right decision.

On Dashami, both families went for the visarjan together, and that was when Swara had announced her decision to everyone else. All of the Maheshwaris except Sujata were saddened to hear the news. Sujata of course, had been overjoyed thinking that once Swara left, Sanskaar would forget her.

"Oh yeah," Swara thought, "that was how I came to this decision."

She felt like crying and laughing at the same time. Swara knew that this decision of hers had been extremely selfish. She was leaving everyone behind, and running away, and this made her feel very guilty. But at the same time, she felt free. There was nothing holding her back, and she was free to do whatever she wanted. Free to find herself again. Swara closed her eyes and leaned her head back. She didn't know what the future held for her, she didn't know when she would come back home. But she knew that her decision had been right, and she knew that very soon, everything would be okay again.

***

I know you guys probably, weren't expecting it to end this way, and I'm really sorry if you guys didn't like it. The whole reason I wrote this TS was because I wanted Swara to stop being so mahaan and go back to being the old Swara. In the end it will obviously be Swasan for me, but I believe that before you fall in love with someone else, you need to fall in love with yourself first. The same applies for Swara. She needs to find herself again, and fall in love with herself, before she falls in love with Sanskaar.

Oh and I'd like to give a special thanks to Medha for explaining to me how Bengalis celebrate Navratri, because as a Gujarati living outside of India, I had no idea. So thanks so much Medha for your time! 😃🤗

So thanks everyone for reading, and I hope you liked it. 😊
