First of all thanks viji🤗u dedicatedthis OS to us awww love u yaara...it means a lot😃

now coming to the update
like always
awesome
beautiful
fantastic
lovely
loved the paspast story of DP...his mother told him a story n according to him the end wasn't good or he didn't like it...the reason was obvious...n I loved his thoughts
love is a beautiful feeling n if two people loves each other toh they should be together but because of society customs or because of others sky n earth were seperated and little didn't liked it a bit n for him the wasn't that good...I really like the way to portrayed his emotions his way of thinking👏
his father was a bhsy man that's why he always felt alone but his little bro got all the love from him
he went to say no for the wedding but AP's first impression was enough n he said yes
I really loved his bond with sanskaar...for nim sanskaar was like his own image n DP was like see heis my son n m proud of him but sanskaar did a mistake he chose the wrong path n eloped with kavita n his one move shattered DP but he didn't repeat that mistake again n choose swara😳
but fortunately or unfortunately swara got married to sanskaar
for DP she is his DIL he didn't care ki whom she got married but for him she was his DIL
everybody was against swasan but he said yes to their relationship...again he proved ki for him his children's happines is more important n finally he had knocked some sense into sansku's mind😆
SwaSan scene was so beautiful...she thought she was hallucinating n he wasn't there🤣
waah swara aap aur aapke khwaab...loved their confession😳
all in all a beautifully written update😃
loved it
awesome chapter
thanks for the pm viji😃
Do write more kyunki heh dil mange more

Sonal my dear friend...thanks for all the lovely words again. 😊 I completely and sincerely meant the dedication to you guys. Had it not been for your motivation to continue the series, I would have stopped as a Trilogy with "Earth". So thanks for all the encouragement.

Am glad you liked my portrayal of DP's childhood and youth, and the way his mind functioned. Also the DP--Sanskaar and DP--Swara bonding. 😊 Obviously I want DP to support them, coz he is a smart man, and should know that these two are made for each other, and no one else!!

Am very glad you liked the terrace wala romance and confession between SwaSan. 😊

Viji⭐️,

First of all, thank you for the acknowledgement in the opening of this OS. I have not been encouraging to you..I have just shared exactly what I felt. But if it managed to coax another one of these pieces from you...I'm going to keep doing it, until you owe me a new laptop because my keys got worn out.😆

Now, coming to this particular piece. I have absolutely no idea why my eyes have suddenly decided to prickle at the corners, because there was not much sadness here, except that folktale. However they are. I guess its because I regularly cry when I see anything beautiful..(I hardly ever cry in emotional scenes in movies or serials, but I wept buckets when we visited Pangong lake in ladakh, and my dad actually thought I had caught a head cold, and gave me an extra muffler to use as a hanky, since Mum had taken all of his, for her real cold😆).

Anyway, Durgaprasad's childhood was like the yolk of an egg, forgive the analogy, but it was. Soft and nice. His mother of course was the adoring mother...and he was in turn the brilliant brother who RP looked up to. That family background of course is quite typical. When he grew up..he developed the shell coverings and thicker skin...which served him well..but his heart was still the soft yolk after all.

I loved how you made DP love Sanskaar because of his similarities with himself and his talent...even more than his own sons. How he regretted the misunderstanding that had caused his son after his heart to leave. Its important for sanskaar to have a father figure, he too lacks one, just like Dp himself did in his youth, despite having fathers.😳

You made sure that the only reason Swara was unsure of his feelings was because of Sanskaar hiding away his feelings after disclosing them, feeling that he was going to cloud her judgement when the time came to choose properly.Convenient huh?😃.The SwaSan union was lovely and sanky suddenly became like ASR😆. Loved how DP, quietly and strongly plays the Godfather here...and ultimately gets the two lovers together. What I like most about him is that he learns from his mistakes, has no problem owning up to them...and correcting them as far as possible.👏

I have absolutely nothing to say about how well you write...mostly because I have used up most of my superlatives. I love it.

Part of storytelling is coming up with new ways to tell it. You are an excellent Storyteller Viji.

love--
Medha

Medha...🤗 🤗 I meant every word of that dedication. Seriously, I was planning on wrapping up the series as a Trilogy after "Earth", since I could not summon up the energy to write Lucky into "Air". I mean, Air is a lovely element, but I was so thoroughly irritated with Lucky...it just wasn't working.

And then you guys motivated me to continue with this series, so I got thinking about jumping to the 5th element. 😊 And that's how I came to write "Space". Thanks again for that encouragement.

You've been to the Pangong lake? Wow...the photos look spectacular. What was the temperature like there? The closest I've been to those parts is when, many years back, Dad, Mom, Bro & I went to Kullu Manali. The Rohtang pass was amazing.

Your Dad gave all his hankies to your Mom, huh? Sooo cute. They sound like a slightly senior version of Sansku--Swara. 😉 Minus all the current drama, thankfully! 😊

Glad you liked my portrayal of DP's character, as well as the DP--Sanskaar relationship. I wanted to show how he is a father figure to Sansku, and also can be a real father figure to Swara (much better than that spineless, waste of space Shekar)!!

Glad you liked the SwaSan romance on the moonlit terrace top too 😊 I just could not resist the Hobbit and IPK references. You & I were catching up with our old IPK mania last weekend, and so many memorable dialogues came gushing back to me "from the mists of time, 3 years ago..." 😉 😉

Glad you liked my portrayal of DP's nature, as well as the Sanskaar--Swara confession scene.

Oh Viji, THANK YOU 🤗🤗🤗for this superbly written and supremely satiating OS on Space and even more for transforming what was a literal plea, into a dedication (to us) and a motivation (for you)!😃

You humble and delight us, all at the same time !👏

Its midnight now, and I need to sleep so I can catch my 5.30 am flight out tomorrow😕. But, while I will hold my patience and share my appreciation over the entire Space, for now, I CANNOT hold back on being wowed by the other 'doff of your hat' in the climax today...😳

Did you do it on purpose😳 (please say yes !! ), or was it inadvertent or even your subconscious😆 (I'd like to believe that it was!) , that you chose to couch Sanskaar's reaction ("he responded to her, the way men who have had their proposals accepted normally do") ,in the same tones as that eternally unique verbiage used by one Ms Austen😳 to describe Darcy's reaction to Lizzie's acceptance of his 2nd proposal...You know ."..and he expressed himself on the occasion as sensibly and as warmly as a man violently in love can be supposed to do" !☺️😳❤️

Umm...I can really draw a parallel to the 1st proposal too, when I think of it ! 😃 Now I know I am going to dream of P&P and Swasan, all night thru !!

Love your penmanship, your vision and your humility,
🤗Pic.

Hi Pic. 🤗 🤗 I meant every word of that dedication. Like I told you the other day, I had intended to wrap up the series as a Trilogy after Water, Fire & Earth, since I was not feeling too keen about writing Lakshya into Air. I mean, Air is a lovely element, but I was just so bugged with Lucky, I just could not summon up the energy to do it. 😊

When you guys motivated me to continue with this series, I felt encouraged to skip "Air" and go on to the 5th element, "Space". 😊

I'm glad you liked it, Pic. Really means a lot. I shall save my detailed reply for your detailed comment. 😉

As regards Sansku's reaction, do you know, I do think its a subconscious couching in the tonal style of P&P. 😊 I hadn't been aware of it before. Now that you mention it, even Sansku's drunken confession in the show, (few of which words I used in his sober confession in my OS), also seem to be reflecting the Darcy--Lizzie conversations, don't you feel?

I mean: Sansku's "Pyar kab, kyon and kaise hua, pata nahin!" as compared to Mr Darcy's first proposal:
"I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun."

😊 😊 Aaahhh...If only Ms Austen had been around today, she would have been a major SwaSan shipper! They contain shades of both Darcy--Lizzie and Captain Wentworth--Anna (of Persuasion).
