I loved this on so many levels! Firstly there was that really sad folk tale to which DP had similar reactions as I had when I was reading it... So it was very satisfying to know someone commiserated with me, albeit a fictional character about a fictional story... but like they say misery needs company! 😆

Next you would be surprised to know that what made me super happy was not the swasan romance but the word 'circa' you wrote in the sub headings! 😃 Because seriously my fav subject is history and fav pass time is actually going through hundreds of pages of wikipedia links related to some random historical trivia!

I just can't help clicking on the hyperlinks and devouring ancient literally totally useless information... But well a gal gotta to have her own crazy addictions right?😆 Anyways, the point is I got a feeling I was reading on of those wiki pages as I was reading Dp's background story and his life story or lemme be cheesy and say HIS STORY! 😆

But seriously loved the style and 'circa' just put an authentic stamp on this fictional wiki page for me!

And lastly you just referenced few of my fav movies and I just got lost there a bit in the world of wood elves, headstrong dwarves, cheeky hobbit and sexy voiced dragons! But like J R R Tolkien says, " Not all those who wander are lost" You brought me right back to earth or in this case 'space' with naughty swasan thoughts! So I literally had a great ride through many worlds! Thank u ! 🤗

History was my favorite all through school too-- a most unlikely choice for which most of my classmates used to think I was whacko 😉 I'm like you, I used to do so much general trivia reading in history. So "circa" kinda came to me to give an authentic, "His storical" feel to Durga Prasad's story 😊 (Sorry, couldn't resist repeating your pun!)

Very happy to know you liked the Hobbit dialogue references. I am a HUGE LOTR and Hobbit movie series fan, I must have seen each of the movies half a dozen times, easily. 😊

Also, good to know you liked the naughty SwaSan thoughts too---moonlit and starlit romance on the terrace...

To begin with a heart felt thanks for the acknowledgement you bestowed upon in the beginning of this phenomenal OS...it truly means a lot and girl, am blown away not only by your sheer scale of writing, but also by your humility ...I absolutely do not think that I can motivate an accomplished writer like yourself...what ever I say its genuine and heartfelt...🤗 ...

I have had the opportunity and privilege to read many stories here at IF, not only in this forum, but in few other forums too and I can safely say that, girl, you are one of the finest I have ever come across ⭐️...there were few who actually used to publish their stories...so if some day you decide on publishing yours, do let me know...would be the first one to buy...😃 ( ok not the first, scratch that, but I would definitely buy..I can't guarantee on being first as I am one helluva lazy person...😛..).

well now coming to the story...this was stupendous ⭐️...DP is one of my favourites and the way you weaved the story was magical...the folklore which young DP heard in his boyhood was touching and so was his displeasure at its ending...DP is like what should I say, coconut,( eewww, sorry about that...am unable to guess another word to describe DP at the moment 😛), rough on outside, but a total softie inside...😃...The way DP became the beacon of light showing the right approach to sanskaar and prod him to move towards the path of his happiness was so beautiful...and DP and sanskaar are so alike...yeah sans truly is DP's son after his own heart...😳

As ususal for me the best part was the last one where in you describe the sky's relation vis--vis other elements...👏...beautiful...sky really has an all encompassing vision and like you said all the other four elements look up to it...sky as in space as in ether ( vyom in hindi ) is vast and its difficult to actually gauze its depth or rather its reach...( hope I made sense..😛)

Loved the way you penned out DP's background, the bond between him and Swasan.

I would love it if he is the one who catalyses Swara's confession in the actual show. 😳 I ship SwaRga soo bad! 😆

The highest rank is given to 'space' and in your story DP...He fulfilled it to the tee...The way you wrote DP from his times with his mother to the time he took the step to bring in his 'son' Sanskaar back on track...superb writing and imagination..

Viii 🤗 You are incredible hon! Firstly, am humbled by the dedication. I selfishly asked you to write as I love to read it all and so I feel a bit of a fraud for accepting the dedication but loved it anyway! 😃

You always praise me for research so this time I have to say all that 😃. That story was beautiful- as soon as I started to read that bit I was transfixed, it was redolent of Aesop's Fables for me- does that make sense?! It reminded me of all I loved about reading in childhood basically and has stayed with me.

I love DP and I was overjoyed to see him assessed here and in such a lovely, human way too- 👏👏. The whole DP-Sanksaar-Kavita, then tied in so neatly with SwaSan was lovely- really made me feel like the circle completed.

The SwaSan interactions as ever were poetically beautiful and the whole thing had a balance and flow that you usually nail with all your writing. Again, sad that the elements series is ended but I have it in my favourites now to read when I want to, thank you again for it all!

just just beautiful update. big hug for this my dear.🤗

i just love the way u write. the way u give a backdrop for every character is just amazing.

i can just feel what DP really is thru ur os. the connection between the bed time tale and swasan relation was too awesome..

i guess i need to use many more adjectives to describe how much i loved this os. the same is the case with the previous ones too..

swasan hayee what is there to say about them. their confession was perfect and i could visualize them.

hope we get see something like this in the show where DP understands sanskaar and his feelings and atleast ask him what he wants rather than taking his own decisions in a haste.

finally thank u so much for this series of OS.

i request u to keep writing more and more they are a real treat to read.

i wanna read an os from u on the relation of swasan after they move on or after they start a family from laksh's pov. i believe it would be treat for all of us to read swasan story and laksh redemption in ur way of writing.

please do consider my request..

Hey Nithyah 😊 🤗 Thanks so much for your lovely comment. Glad you liked this piece. Yes, I wanted to show a back story for DP, explore the layers in his character a bit more. Happy that you liked it.

I was also really fond of that old folk tale about the Sky & Earth. Had studied it way back in upper primary/ lower secondary in my English course. 😊 Memories of childhood are so special, na? Your time with your Grandma telling you stories sounds very similar to mine! 😊

Am very happy you liked the SwaSan bit in this OS. They are the ultimate dream couple for me, so I take it as a huge compliment when you tell me that you got lost in them while reading this. I was lost in them while writing it. 😳 😉

Coming to the OS, I really don't know what to say. You build each and every character so well. The details make everything just PERFECT. I loved the durga prasad waala part too. He's one of my most favourite characters in the show ,After swasan of course 😆😳

Hi Tuhina 🤗 🤗 I meant every word of the dedication, my dear friend. As I mentioned, I had earlier planned to stop this "Elements" series as trilogy, I had initially some plans of writing "Air", but then I was just so irritated at Lucky (had planned to do "Air" on him), that it just wasn't working.

And then you guys gave me so much motivation to continue the series, I just had to do "Space". So thanks for the encouragement. 😊

Very glad you like the romantic SwaSan confession, as well as my portrayal of DP. I also hope, that DP will be a force for the good, in SwaSan's life in the serial. Looking forward to that!
