Hey Akku...🤗 🤗
Yaar I was so moved when I read your comment. I must have read it 2 or 3 times. 😊
I wanted to portray an interesting background for DP in "Space" and AP in "Fire". I was so happy to hear that you found these very gripping and intriguing.
That folktale of the marriage of the Earth and Sky is one of my favorite takes from childhood. Very poignant and touching. I wanted to show how this had struck a chord deep within Durga Prasad, given his innate desire for justice and balance.
I always used to admire Durga Prasad's character a lot (with the exception of how he was shown handling Kaveri and Dadi/Ragini's blackmail 😉). That part I explored in my Dyuta Parva --Karna Parva series.
But in the Elements series, I wanted to explore the strength and purposefuless of his character, his role as the unbiased head of the Maheshwari clan. He genuinely thinks of Sanskaar as the son after his own heart. And he does think of Swara as the daughter he never had, as well.
Glad you loved SwaSan's portrayal as well, how they realize and confess their feelings for each other.
To have a cherished reader say that they could literally live through each character, is such a privilege. Thanks so very much my dear.
Lots of Love
