Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi is now moving into one of its most emotional and crucial phases. Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan), still dealing with the pain of Virat’s (Rajat Verma) sudden disappearance on their engagement day, makes a life-changing choice. She decides to marry her childhood friend Sanjay (Rishi Saxena), choosing stability and responsibility over her unresolved feelings for Virat. This new decision marks a major shift in her personal journey and in the show’s narrative.
Anvita’s Maharashtrian Bridal Look Revealed
As the wedding storyline progresses, Sumbul Touqeer Khan has revealed the first glimpse of Anvita’s Maharashtrian bridal avatar. She is seen in a traditional green Nauvari saree with gold motifs, paired with a deep magenta blouse. Her look reflects a calm, rooted, and composed moment in Anvita’s life. The outfit is completed with the classic mundavalya on her forehead, a traditional nath, layered gold jewellery, a neatly tied bun decorated with jasmine gajra, soft mehndi, and minimal makeup. Together, these elements create a simple yet emotionally significant bridal appearance.

Sumbul Shares the Experience Behind the Look
Speaking about the look and the emotions attached to it, Sumbul said, “Usually, we see leads in lehengas for their big day, so stepping into this Maharashtrian bridal look was a completely refreshing experience for me. I’ve worn a Nauvari before but wearing it as a bride brought an entirely new wave of emotions. The moment the drape was set and the nath placed, something shifted within me.
Growing up, I’ve admired Maharashtrian brides getting ready with such grace—donning the green bangles, nath, mundavalya and now here I was getting ready wearing these ornaments. While shooting, I could feel everything Anvita is experiencing—the love, the hope, the apprehension… it all made me feel like I was stepping directly into her world. It’s one of the most memorable looks I’ve ever worn, and I’m genuinely overwhelmed by the love the audience is giving Anvita in this chapter of her life.”
