It is she who always throws the personal remarks dexter not me, however I will try and ignore

Thank you Niks. No I don't think its only because of you. It happens for a lot of reasons. But when you two constantly fight, most people will blame you. So in order to avoid that, just completely avoid interacting with Desu and avoid passing comments at her. That should keep it under control

You don't have to stop posting in Kareena threads, just don't incite or argue with her since she has said in this thread time and again that she wouldn't do incite you or argue with you either. So its good to return the favor for the benefit of every one involved, mostly you two. You can of course argue with others like the rest of the forum people. I doubt anyone would have a problem with that. Most people just want you two to stay away from each other because of the inevitable clash time and again.

Even though I'm late but I absolutely agree with everything that has been said! Just please accept the request because things are getting out of our hands and it'd be essential if there was a restraining order so that whenever there are topics of Kareena or topics made by Desu or Nkapoor discussions are made in a civilised manner.

Love the idea of a feedback thread Dex!

IF has a fairly broad set of rules that is applicable to the site as a whole. Problem arises when the mods interpret and implement the rules differently or create their own version of the rules for the section they are moderating. Neither is effective or sustainable.

I think there should be permanent thread where members can report instances where the DT has been unfair. This keeps the rogue mods in check and will also, with time, improve the quality of the various fora on this site. It is rather frustrating when you see viewbies/mods behaving unilaterally without any logical reason...like they are on a power trip. When I've raised such concerns publicly in the past, I have been told to send a PM to the DT...this makes zero sense! Concerns should be raised publicly and a global mod, Shruti or higher, needs to take a look at the ones that are legitimate.

Just my two cents!

Mods arent involved as they used to be. I recall smetime back when offending posts used to get deleted, so as not to clutter the thread. This, ofcourse, no longer happens. I think the mods need to be a bit more active in the threads, and hopefully mods that know the rules.

Yup. Offending posts used to get deleted and Swati used to issue a warning PM which people did take seriously. They did not lock the entire thread down or "punish" the member with an edited plus a deleted post plus a raise in WL. All three in one is just abuse of power. Some of the newbies even get outright bans. As Bheegibasanti very well put it, there needs to be a way to keep things in check and as far as I am concerned, the feedback section is a good idea... to start off with anyway.

Reminds me...what happened to salmanmylove? She got banned, no? And what was her offense? She was so funny...miss reading her kamini katty posts. 😆

Mods r rather baffling. One member was using the term "gay" and "nig" in a very derogatory manner, yet he only gets called out for using the word "nig" and not "gay". I dont know what country the mods r in, but eiether way...calling someone gay or saying something is gay is offensive and members should be reprimAnded.

I agree with you...calling someone gay out of anger is just as bad as calling someone a nigger. Yep she was banned, God knows for what reasons. She was just a harmless troll. 😆 Yea, moderators don't seem to be consistent with their rulings, that is my biggest bone of contention. The law of the land itself is confusing. You never know which rule is in place and when. Under one moderator, you are allowed to do certain things but under another, the same thing is seen as an offense. There is no consistency or cooperation. This is why the feedback thread needs to be back so everything(suggestions/complaints/rules/warnings) is done in the open.

Wooohooo Mandy just posted the feedback thread on bollywood section! I hope other forums follow suit as well because Swati's idea was a great one. But anyway, Yay, both issues solved. This thread worked like magic. Desu....tussi great ho! 🥳
