Amid rising tensions in West Asia, actor Vivek Oberoi recently returned to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and reunited with his family after days of uncertainty. Reports of missile activity in the region had raised concern among residents and travellers. The attacks were launched by Iran in response to strikes involving the United States and Israel. After reaching Dubai safely, the actor shared a personal message describing the emotions he experienced during the journey back.
Posting a video on social media, Oberoi described the city as more than just a place of residence for many people from around the world. Reflecting on the tense days, he said, "For all of us from over 200 nationalities who live here, the UAE is simply home. These past few days, as geopolitical tensions grew, the distance between where I was and where my family waited felt heavier than ever. Returning to Dubai, I felt every person on that plane had a silent story in their eyes."
