Hey guys,

Restraining order is impossible and a bad idea. I-F is a platform for people to come and voice their opinions so everyone should be able to participate in discussions. If two people cant stand each other then I suggest the respective DT of the section to have a talk with concerned members and make them stay away from each other's threads if they don't have anything good to provide there.

Mods doesn't have to close down the entire thread, they can move the posts that violates the rules so others can peacefully continue their discussions.

I guess certain members from particular forums where they are labelled as troublemakers with a lot of warnings, they can be banned for a limited time from that forum. If they come back or makes MID, mods can just give them WL raiseJ

PS! This is something the bolly DT need to consider and decide as they know the members and situation better than anyone else:)

Aahana, the member WAS banned. TWICE. She kept coming back with new IDs.

She begged the mods to let her come back with the promise that she wont cause trouble, and they did. She behaved for about a month and then she was back to her troublesome ways again.

It got to a point where the mods said that she's so stuborn, they dont know what to do, they HAVE asked her to stay away from my topics, but she doesnt listen.

So the bolly mods have just GIVEN UP. Is that a solution? Is that what you propose? If you cant handle a member, just ignore the situation?

NO, I've had enough. I want something to be done, and I need Shruti to look into this matter.

I'm ready to follow this. I'm ready to not go into her threads. I dont want anything to do with her, because frankly, I loathe her. She purposely posts to rile me up and I know it.

But I need the mods to help. You need to enforce this because everyone is SICK AND TIRED. And me the most.

The bolly mods dont do anything. I need someone else with more power to get involved. If the bolly mods could do something, something would have happened by now.

Have you ever seen that movie Law Abiding Citizen? In a nutshell, perfectly civil law abiding citizen goes off in the head when he sees that the authorities do nothing when he asks for help.

I'm starting to feel like I'm in the same situation.

I'm also tempted to just screw around the bolly section just to see HOW FAR I can push those mods before they take action.

I'm ready to risk a ban at this. I'll call it an experiment. Lets see how many times the mods will "cut it out" me before one of them finally takes action.

It might restore some respect for em in my eyes. Coz I lost it all when I realized that they had completely given up on my situation and planned to do nothing.

The feedback option for every forum is a very good idea. First of all, it allows for a more democratic forum with better member-moderator realtions and more respect as well. I do think every forum should have those.

The Desigal vs Nkapoor war is extremely annoying. They've been fighting for years now and it's just never-ending...not to mention repetitive. I could probably recite what they would both say in a fight by now. Not only is it annoying for them, it's annoying for other members as well. There was a time when I would see a Kareena topic with 5+ pages and I just KNEW that there was a fight in there between the two members and I simply didn't want to even bother with the topic.

The thing is because IF is a public discussion forum, it's not feasible to actually have buttons where people can only invite some members to comment or legitly ban some from postin...it's a weird topic because at the end of the just how much can you limit a person's freedom of speech?..Though I think in this specific case, because desigal and nkapoor have such a big problem with each other, the mods should actively try to enforce a rule where they won't enter each other's threads..maybe both WL's will be raised if they do so?

This requires more work for the mods so I'm not sure if it will work out, but Kal-El had suggested moderated posting for the newbies...maybe we could have moderated posting for both desigal and nkapoor if they wish to post in each other's topics. Only the valuable comments that add to the discussion will be allowed to be posted...and the personal attacks, "I agree's" will be deleted/edited out??

I cannot emphasize enough how true this is. And Chocolover and Enycedoll are completely neutral members, so you cannot call them biased.

You need to realize that this is a problem that has gone out of control. Its not just, "talk to the members and see what happens". The mods are NOT TRYING at all. They're just not addressing the situation. They come in after a thread is completely ruined and things get down to insults, by which time nobody feels like even entering the thread to begin with.

How can the team ignore this many complains? I'm one of the involved parties and I'm BEGGING you to take some action. What more could you want? I'm willing to cooperate, but it seems like the mods are not. They just dont wanna do anything.

Yes we desperately need a feedback thread for our section. That's the only reason I had to come here, because there was no other option. I dont know where else to turn to.

I am SHOCKED because she was the SAME MANDY who officially told me & that psycho Egm to not post anything in each other's threads after just a FEW DAYS' arguments (that came mainly from the other party in form of nasty attacks on me) ... Are you serious Tanya? I've been asking her to do the same, and she and Souro keep quoting the rules at me that members can post in all threads.

So why the difference in treatment? Why are the mods applying this rule to some members and not to others, who have clearly been having problems for even LONGER periods of time?

Can someone kindly explain what the standards are for the mods on the bolly section?

Sometimes I get the feeling that they've given up because nkapoor just doesn't seem to listen.

Chocolover, THIS! You're EXACTLY right. Because she's so sturborn, they just dont wanna deal with her anymore, which pisses me off even more.

Coz they would rather let a member deal with her day after day for years without any power.

And then they come in, all pissed like, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, BACK OFF YOU TWO, NO PERSONAL ATTACKS" blah blah blah.

You'd think they'd notice a pattern by now. If we were meant to stop, we would've by now.

I hate the thought of being lumped with her. I hate it.

I remember the member "lovanika" and i use to be at it like dogs on Aishwarya topics...we never got warned. Does it have anything to do with reporting?
