you are right bro , In some Versions of Ramayana , Raavan accepted that His Son was even more powerful than him

Yes, Ravan never knew nor believed Ram to be an incarnation of Vishnu, but after Meghnaad's death he realized what everyone was saying was right. That was the moment he truly began to doubt himself, because Meghnaad was his strength. All his hopes for victory had been laid on him, and with his death Ravan had no hope left.

However, he would not surrender to Ram even at that moment, because he had already lost his entire family. There was no point in surrendering and living in an empty Lanka with just his wife and sister.

What an episode, today!!!

As we discussed, the dove gets shot down by Ravan and Sita goes to him and weeps on his plight. When Ravan asks her why she's weeping, she tells him that the bird has got its mukti, and that she's weeping over Mandodari's plight, who no longer has the love that she once had. Seriously!!!

Finally, today, Sita's bhashans restarted 👏 She talked to Ravan about the invisible crown on Rama's head, his love for his subjects and why he's specialty personified, and all that. Too bad it lasted just 1 segment 😆

Then comes Sulochana, who (fictitiously) offers to free her and send her home. Instead of telling her that only her husband can do that, Sita lectures Sulochana about her maryada, and why she shouldn't go against her sasural for an outsider like her. Too bad Sita didn't take Sulo under her wing and give her tuitions on being a pativrata

I know some were offended at the idea of some of us looking forward to this Sita's haran, but honestly, as far as this Sita goes, she's found the right place. (This is different from the original who stated that only her husband would take her away after killing Ravan)

I have one question regarding the Yudh Kand of Valmiki Ramayana. Yudh Kand has never been my forte as I was never very fond of the war stories from Ramayan and Mahabharat. 😆

In Valmiki Ramayana, is it Indrajit or Ravan who threw the shakti towards Lakshman? And did they throw it just at Lakshman or at Ram and the entire vaanar sena also? And Sushena here was a monkey physician and not Ravan's physican, right?

I know Valmiki's version of the shakti/sanjeevani incident is very different from the Adhyatma/Tulsidas version, which is more popular.
