Disclaimer: The story is a fiction though it includes characters from Ramayan. Hope none of the chapters matched with any existing FF/OS etc.., if it happens it will merely be a coincidence. In such case, please bring it to my notice, so that I can stop it with the satisfaction of knowing one more person with the same mindset of mine. 😊

Part I: Inclined Lord Shiva Linga

Chapter 6: Judgement day

In the evening,the court is assembled and the brothers Vikash and Akash are brought in.

Minister: Maharaj, (showing Akash), he is Akash the elder brother of Vikash. As per your order, he is brought here.

Ram: Your brother Vikash points you as the cause for becoming thief. Did you betrayed him w/o sharing your fathers' property?

Akash: Maharaj, I am not the reason for his mischief. But I agree, that I didn't give his share because I know he is not capable of handling it.

Ram: How do you know that he is not worth of handling property and who gave you the permission to do so? It is your fault which is the base of his crime. So I want to punish you before your brother.

Akash: No maharaj. This is unfair. I am accepting my mistake but what he did is not the only way to lead the life.

Ram: That I know how to deal with. You accepted your fault but you have to pay for it.

Ram firmly looking at the hall started his judgement

Akash you have to give half the property share to your brother which your father left behind. Vikash you have done two mischief. First stealing things from public, so better you spend your property share for the welfare of the people and return the property to those from whom you took it. Second you unknowingly made Eswar and mata parvati to carry your sin, so life long you have to do service in the Ardhanarishvara temple. But you will be paid for your service which will be given to your wife and children.

Vikash: (with uncontrollable tears) Maharaj this is not my punishment but my blessing.

Ram: No its your bhakthi for Eswar. (Looking at Akash) I know you feel its injustice to you, but dont forget what you have today is the profit of entire share which is not asked to be shared. Now tell me, do you have any objection?

Akash: (realized the inner meaning of the judgement). No maharaj I understood my mistake and I will ask my apology to Vikash.

Ram: Vikash, now its your duty to go to the temple and ask apology from Ardhanarishvara.

Ram, his brothers and Vikash followed by soldiers and people entered the temple and huge crowd gathered near the temple.

Vikash with the permission from Maharaj entered the karpagraha and fall on the feet of inclined Ardhanarishvara linga.

Vikash: Mahadev and mata Parvati, please forgive me. I didnt know that my mistake will lead to such state of yours. Now I understood my mistake and I wont repeat it forever. Please pardon me and release yourself from this pain.

Ram: Eswara and mata Parvati, now your child is begging for your pardon. Please forgive him.

I am Ram, the Raghuvanshi promise you that I will carry all the burden and not let you down. I will accept all the blame in the coming years and wont allow anyone to suffer.

Saying this, Ram lifted the linga and immediately linga restored in its original position.

Everyone chanted Jai Jai mahadev, Hara Hara Mahadev.

Ram: Tomorrow a special pooja will held in the temple and Vikash " your duty starts. first immediately set the land site properly" (place which has a hole due to inclined linga).

Everyone chanted Maharaj ki jai but the chant changed from King Ram to Lord Ram. Yes the day, the King Rama became Lord Rama for the people. All devas and saptharishis flowered the event.

In the night, Shatrughna is restless in his balcony. Ram entered his room balcony.

Ram: Shatrughna, what happened? Tomorrow early morning we have to go to temple.

Shatrughna: No Bhaiya, I am okay. I will go to sleep now.

Ram: Tell me what's that make you uneasy? Do you have any difference in my judgement?

Shatrughna: Bhaiya, I know you. You cant make mistake that too when it involves the life of people. I am upset with me. I didn't rule the kingdom properly when you all are not here. I promised Bharath bhaiya that I will make sure that when Ram bhaiya returns back , the ayodhya will be same as that left by our father. But I didnt know that the public suffered...

Ram: Shatrughna you fulfilled your promise. You took care of our mothers, your family and the kingdom. Did anyone was able to fight against us in that period? No know, because you lead in front. It is because of you, we have our ayodhya as such. If you think of people problem, it will always be there one after the other. Good governance is not stopping all wrong at once but taking care that the same mistake does not repeat again. The root cause of the problem should be sorted. There are many things I learn from you people. Today from you, I learned "how I cant be satisfied with what I did" .

Hearing this Bharath entered the room.

Bharath: Ram Bhaiya said it rightly. I should learn still more from you Shatrughna.

Shatrughna is happy to hear their cheer-up words and hugged Ram and Bharath. Laxman also entered the room's balcony.

Laxman: Whats going on? Why all are standing here? Its getting late. Please everyone go for sleep. Tomorrow we have to be in temple soon.

Ram: Laxman, cant we learn to thiyag the sleep for a day from you.

Laxman: Bhaiya, he joined them in group hug.

In Valmiki ashram,Sita is continuing her prayers and Rishi Valmiki entered there.

Valmiki: Sitadevi, your prayers are heard.

Sita: Rishi, what happened?

Valmiki told everything happened in ayodhya and asked Sita "Dont you feel what people will think about you"

Sita: (with a smile) Maharaja knows me...

In Brahma lok,

Brahma : Narad, are you okay now. Your fathers and mothers are out of grief now.

Narad: ha, but Sita matha and Ram are still suffering.

Brahma: Didn't you hear what Ram told. Ram will be blamed till the end of Kaliyug for his action which only SiyaRam knows. SiyaRam is all set to suffer for others but won't let others suffer.

Narad: Narayana Narayana...
