BTW I have heard that some versions say that Sita Mata didn't go into mother Earth but she lived with him after Ram gets to know he have 2 sons and live with them. I don't know that if this is true or not as my friend told me even she was not sure as she heard this randomly
So wanted to ask that if this is true or not? Aisa kuch sach main hain kya?

Disclaimer: The story is a fiction though it includes characters from Ramayan. Hope none of the chapters matches with any existing FF/OS etc.., if it happens it will merely be a coincidence. In such case, please bring it to my notice, so that I can stop it with the satisfaction of knowing one person with the same mindset of mine.😊

Part I: Inclined Lord Shiva Linga

Chapter 5: Trial in the court

The man is shocked to see the peasant, who holds his hand and looks bright even in the dark night. He asked "who are you? How dare you stop me from offering my lord?"

Ram asked "First tell me, who are you and why you come to the temple in this time?"

Man: There is no need for me to explain you. King announced that anyone can enter the temple at anytime. So it's better you leave my hand.

Ram: Did king told people to do robbery and fill the hundiyal?

Man (with a fear in his face): Who, I...I...I... got late to enter the place, so coming to the temple now. By the way, you just stop your interrogation and examine yourself. What are you doing here? Have you come here to steal from temple?

Hearing the voice, Shatrughna comes there and said to the man, "Just stop, you fool. Do you know whom you are talking to? He is none other than the King of Ayodhya."

By the time, the man tried hard to leave from the hold of Ram and hit against the bell. The mantra OM starts echoing and the soldiers rushed to the temple.

Ram: (Showing the man to soldier) Take him to the jail. Bring him to the court in the morning.

Man: sorry, maharaj. I didn't steal from temple. Please leave me.

Ram: Let me hear you tomorrow.

Ram leaves the temple with Shatrughna and the soldiers took the misery man in the custody.

While entering the palace, Laxman and Bharath joined Ram. Shatrughna told everything to them.

Ram: This man has to be punished but I want to know the opinions of you all.

Shatrughna: Bhai, he should be severely punished so that others will not do it again.

Bharath: We didn't see him stealing but only dropping the chain. How can maharaj punish him without knowing about the entire truth? How can we be prejudgemental?

Ram: You are absolutely right, Bharath.

In the morning, the court is heavily crowded as people are eager to know, who the man is and how he will be punished. People talked among themselves that the man was caught by King when he tried to rob the temple.

King Ram enters the court hall followed by all his brothers and sat in his throne.

Minister: Pranam, Maharaj. This man entered the temple in the night and tried to drop gold chain. Your majesty, you caught him red-handed yesterday. Now, he has to unfold the secret.

Ram: What is your name? What is your job? Why you came there at that time? Don't try to say lies because I know your truth and want you to confess it, so that your punishment will be reduced.

Man (with tears): I am Vikash, a robber. I used to drop half of what I get in the temple hundiyal.

Ram: Did you know that because of your sin, the linga is inclined.

Vikash: No maharaj. I thought, when Eswar has given me this wealth, I have to give him in return.

Ram: You shared not only your materialistic things but also your karmic papa. Yesterday, you had only one small gold chain which you tried to drop, what about your share?

Vikash: Maharaj, nowadays, I am unable to steal much of things. As I got only small gold chain, I thought to drop it in hundiyal. If I have nothing also, Eswar will take care of me.

Ram : So you accept that you are a thief.

Vikash nodded his head in agreement.

People shouted asking King Ram to give Vikash death sentence as he not only robbed people but also destroyed the purity in temple.

Ram: (Towards the crowd) wait, have patience. Everyone should be given a chance to say their point of view. (Looking Vikash) Tell us, why you became thief? What made you to choose this path?

Vikash: My father was a landlord. Few years back, he passed away without writing a writ. My elder brother Akash took all the property and left me with nothing. I tried hard to survive by working under many people. They made me to work day and night and paid less wages and hurt me with their words. So I thought to make them understand the pain.

Rep of People: Maharaj, punish him. He will make stories to get rid of punishment. Every criminal has a reason, so please penalize him severely.

Ram: He will be punished, but the intensity of the punishment depends on the circumstances which pushed him to do this crime. (Seeing the soldiers, he ordered) Bring his brother Akash also to the court before evening. Judgement will be rendered only after hearing his statements.

Ram leaves the court seeing the doleful face of Laxman. He knows about the mind of Laxman, but he doesn't what to ask him, rather he wants to move away from excavating his wound.

When everyone left the court hall, Laxman stood there in his place in deep thoughts.

Guru Vashisht: You didn't go with maharaj?

Laxman: Gurudev, I will go now.

Guru: You can, but tell me what made you so sad?

Laxman: Gurudev, this man Vikash is the cause for the inclination of linga. Everyone knows it now. So what will people think about maharani? Will they think banishing mata Sitadevi is right?

Guru (with a smile): First, Vikash's way of bhakthi is the reason. He did robbery, unknowing the effect of his action he offered the things to Eswar, which made Lord Shiv and Matha Parvati to carry his karmic burden for his true un-proclaimed bhakthi. For second part, can you stop the thinking process of people or even their freedom of speech? Just think that by some means maharani Sita has come back to palace and the linga is positioned. If any bad omen occurs again these people will blame King for bringing her back to palace. Her purity should not be judged by others which SiyaRam knows. Now, she should be in a peaceful place, which doesn't affect her health condition.

Laxman: Gurudev, I am convinced but people?

Guru: Laxman, again ... (with a smile). Those who believe in truth will not blame others and those who blame will not trust anyone. Leave the gossipmonger, they don't worth our time.

Laxman smiled and pranam his guru. Guru Vashisht and Laxman leaves the court hall.
