Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra prioritize keeping their daughter Adira out of the spotlight, aiming for a normal childhood without excessive media attention. In a recent chat on the ANI Podcast, Rani shared their philosophy, emphasizing that Adira should earn recognition based on her merits when she chooses a profession, rather than relying on her famous parents.
Rani Mukerji on keeping her daughter away from camera
Rani Mukerji shared that she and Aditya Chopra have consciously decided to keep their daughter Adira out of the public eye. "We have the same philosophy for our daughter as well. We did not want her to ever be in a situation where she is overexposed. That she should feel there is anything special going on with her.”
She added, “Because when she grows up, when she chooses a profession that she needs to choose, then whatever she earns, the recognition will be earned through her merit. She doesn't earn the recognition because she has famous parents. She should earn that herself; it should not come to her as taken for granted.”
Rani Mukerji mentioned that Adira shares her father's preference for privacy and is developing her own strong opinions on the matter.
