Anupamaa: Anupama gets emotional as she hears Anuj’s voice

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, the atmosphere lightens as both groups engage in a friendly game of antakshari. However, tensions resurface when Vasundhara remarks that conflicts always erupt at the Kothari mansion whenever anyone from Anupama's family visits.

Parag immediately disagrees, saying disagreements happen regardless of the Shahs' presence. He assures everyone that he will take responsibility for Hasmuk and his family's well-being.

Siding with them, Prem declares that if Vasundhara is upset, he would rather accompany the Shahs. Ansh too expresses his disappointment, insisting that Vasundhara's words are hurtful and deciding to leave in solidarity.

Anupama’s Quiet Reflections

Later, the women retire for the night. Anupama quietly looks at Rahi's photograph, lost in thought. Devika notices her emotions and reminds her to stay strong, which brings back Anupama's memories of the past. Meanwhile, Gulabo notices everyone is asleep and prepares to drive ahead calmly.

Vasundhara’s Early Morning Confrontation

In the early hours, Vasundhara begins preparing tea. Both Parag and Prem spot her and question what she is doing. When asked who she considers herself to be, Prem replies that she is "Moti Baa." To their shock, Vasundhara dismisses this and says she is nothing more than a servant to the Shahs.

Parag and Prem defend the family and question her mindset. Parag confronts her, asking whether she wants the Shahs to continue staying with them or if she prefers peace in the Kothari household. Prem firmly tells her she has some time to reflect. Vasundhara grows anxious, realising that her plans are slowly crumbling.

Devika and Anupama: Bonding and Gratitude

Meanwhile, Devika expresses her gratitude to Anupama for arranging this trip. Anupama responds warmly, saying that it is Devika's support that has brought everyone together. She shares her hope that this journey will heal the broken bonds within the family. Devika reassures her, confident that Anupama's wishes will come true.

The bus halts for a break as Gulabo asks everyone to freshen up. Leela complains of acidity, which Sarita mocks lightly. Anupama tends to Leela by giving her a home remedy, to which Leela quips that women may travel anywhere, but they always manage to carry their kitchens with them. Kinjal reminds everyone to return in fifteen minutes, while Sarita teasingly calls Gulabo a strict "Hitler." Anupama calmly requests everyone to be punctual after the break.

Anupama Feels Anuj’s Presence

As Devika and Anupama step outside, they are awestruck by the scenic mountains. In that peaceful moment, Anupama calls out Anuj’s name aloud, her emotions welling up. Devika playfully asks if she still hasn’t said her own name.

As they get ready to leave, Anupama hears Anuj calling her, which fills her with happiness and emotion. Devika asks if something happened, but Anupama reassures her that it’s nothing. As Devika walks ahead, Anupama glances back, feeling as though Anuj truly called her name, before quietly leaving the spot.

As everyone settles at the dhaba, Anupama’s attention is drawn to a few troublemakers eyeing Rahi, leaving her feeling uneasy and alert.

As Anupama and Devika spend some quiet time together, their attention is drawn to a sketch lying on a table. Just then, a little girl slowly walks towards them. Curious, Anupama gently starts a conversation with her and asks her name.

Instead of answering directly, the child playfully encourages Anupama to guess, showing her innocence and charm. Eventually, she introduces herself as Jaya.

Intrigued by the drawing, Devika asks if Jaya was the one who made it. With a shy smile, Jaya nods and says that painting and sketching are her favourite hobbies. Devika then lovingly questions what she is doing at the dhaba.

Jaya’s Innocence and Struggle

At this point, Jaya's expression changes as she reveals the painful truth, her mother works there preparing food, but she has been very unwell. Doctors, she explains sadly, haven't been able to cure her. Jaya shares that whenever her mother's pain worsens, she cries a lot, and saying this, the little girl breaks down in tears.

Devika, moved by her grief, immediately pulls Jaya into a comforting embrace, consoling her like her own. Watching this tender moment, Anupama is deeply touched. The restaurant manager adds that Jaya lives with him. Both women are moved by her story and grow emotional.

Flashback

A flashback then reveals a heartfelt conversation from the past where Anupama and Devika spoke about motherhood. Devika had confessed that she never wanted children, whereas Anupama had described the blessing of a child's embrace.

Back in the present, Anupama is touched to see Devika bonding with a child, which stirs her emotions further.

In the precap, Sarita eagerly looks forward to revisiting her village. Anupama, however, feels a wave of uneasiness as thoughts of Samar overwhelm her.
