@bold: No, I wont incorporate Uttara kanda Ramayan. Sita is a part of Ram, so she will be there always in flashback but no Lav Kush.

Disclaimer: The story is a fiction though it includes characters from Ramayan. Hope none of the chapters matches with any existing FF/OS etc.., if it happens it will merely be a coincidence. In such case, please bring it to my notice, so that I can stop it with the satisfaction of knowing one person with the same mindset of mine.😊

Part I: Inclined Lord Shiva Linga

Chapter 2: People of Ayodhya

All priests witnessed the inclined Ardhanarishvara linga in garbagriha (sanctum sanctorum). The lingam is tilted such that the left side of the lingam (Shakthi) is buried an inch inside bhoomi and right side of the lingam is on the plane.

The chief sivachariyar screamed that its a sign of bad omen and something disaster will happen in the kingdom. All the priests tried hard to lift the linga. But they failed in their action. Priest ring the bell so fast and continuously that the mantra OM echoed in ashta dik and in 3 lokas.

The chief sivachariyar along with few priest rush to the palace while the remaining priest started chanting mantras to please Lord Shiva. On seeing Ram and Lakshman on the way, sivachariyar exchanged their namaskar. Ram asked the reason for the chaos. The sivachariyar informed about the inclined Shiv lingam. Ram hurried to the mandir followed by Lakshman and soldiers. Seeing the lingam, Ram just sit in front of it and started his meditation. Everyone around Ram including Lakshman wondered his move. Lakshman tried hard with his full force to lift the linga but his hard work ended in vain.

In Kailash, Lord Shiva is in deep meditation. Ram started his convo with Shiva

Ram: Pranam Mahadev

Shiv: Pranam SriRam

Ram: So now you have started your new game involving me.

Shiv: Is there anything which can happen without your knowledge? We are yet again set to send a message for the people. I have done my duty of starting it and now its your turn to finish it. Release us (Shiv aur parvati) from the karmic burden of my bhakth. As u know I can't punish my true bhakth.

Ram: As u wish, pranam

Shiv: Pranam

Everyone surrounding Ram in temple started giving suggestions like to use elephant to lift the lingam, to perform yajna for Lord Shiv etc... Ram got up from the place and seeing the people he said "Dont worry, the problem will be sorted by tonight". He started to move towards palace leaving behind the shocked crowd.

Narad entered the brahma lok and greeted the lord Brahma.

Narad: pranam pitaji

Brahma: Can't you wait for the event to take place? Patience and perseverance are very important for the completion of any work and you know it well.

Narad: Sorry, I cant see both my mothers matha Sakthi and matha Lakshmi in pain.

Brahma: So you don't mind the pain of your fathers

Narad: I didn't get you, pitaji

Brahma: It is not Mata Parvati alone who is carrying the karmic burden of bhakth, see Lord Shiva is also dragging it hard from matha so he is still on the plane and not on the air. In case of Ram and Sita, see the people of Ayodhya how they started blaming Ram again.

In ayodhya, the news about the inclined linga spread like a forest fire. People started blaming the washerman and King Ram for the incident. They said "Matha parvati became angry seeing the banishment of sita devi. King Ram has done injustice to sitadevi. Now ayodhya will face more problems because of the anger of shiv and parvati". Few even said it may be the due to the curse of Sitadevi and mithila people. They decided to punish the washerman who is the root cause of this incident.
