It's very simple. Mauli is not able to handle Mishti in the current situation. She tells Kunal and Ishan in different situations that she will handle her. But she really has no clue as whatever she does is backfiring.

I think kids should be shown right path by both ways. Scolding is needed , then also make them understand with love. It should be a mixture of both. Only scolding make them rebel. Only pampering and showering them with love even when they r wrong Wil also do bad for them. So there should be a balance. Mishti has stubborn nature. But then it's not something to be encouraged. It's always being said , mouli takes Mishti for granted. But it's Mishti who also takes mouli for granted. The child always backanswer her and say some mean things which is not a good thing to do. Mouli 's approach may be wrong. Now Mishti says she can't live without popsie. I know what I'm saying is not possible. Still , mouli kich dino ke liye Mishti ko popsie ke ghar bhejo. Waha jaake once ishaan ki mom ke behavior dekhke pata chalegi ki how good dida , Dadi , and her mom compared to her. Because obviously she won't like mishti's presence there. Btw it's not going to happen... just saying.
