I personally also don't like any man handling scenes . You can speak to someone , even raise your voice but you don't need to push or grab them..but this happens often in ITV. It used to be worse in Bollywood movies before. In almost every Bollywood movie you will get the hero giving the heroine or some other woman a slap ..I used to hate that..that equates to physical abuse for me..but it used to be accepted in the movies..anyway coming to Ishaan I think it was showing his desperation ...it was as if he wanted to shake some sense into Mauli. He is so much in love with her that he doesn't want to lose her. As for approaching his mom first, remember Ishaan got engaged to Mauli without his parents consent ..so I think to him even if his mom doesn't approve if Mauli he still wants to marry her ..So I think it was his frustration and desperation coming out when he pushed her against the wall. But they could have done it differently...he could have fallen on his knees ...pushed his hands through his hair and and still shown his desperation...😊

all I see just Ishhan love only
He tried to contact mauli many times through phone but she not lift n unanswered
next the panic ishaan came home first to check everything OK for mauli n asking for Wat happened.

when they both meet last time is Mauli offered she can try herself to pacify his mom..
he so anxious about wat happened between the duo .
he tried before mauli entry at his best to convince his mom about mauli house hold Kunal presence everything is not serious as she thinking n he trust mauli love her family everything

after reaching mauli she not first telling n going to her room. ishaan ready to meet n ask his mom but stopped by mauli
mauli told call off marriage suddenly with no reason
still he asked. pleaded Wat his mom said that she taken such decision know about her throughout that she don't make things complicate n solve her Best.
but mauli said it's good n wat his mom is right no marriage just take ring back
The Best n Sensitive Out burst of a Male lead I Seen first time by Ishaan.
his uncontrollable pain by those tears n the anger by slamming wall..
The Routine pining Wall doesn't matter by Witnessing Such Intense Performance n Pain of The Character...

wish His character Shapes Even more Better To Feel More Better Distance to Routine..

Ishaan is Love❤️.. -My Pov ..

exactly !! the situation is typically filmy..
mauli is trying to hide things.. but then we all are so habitual of such things ..

but honestly i dont think other than being filmy there is any problem in their scenario..
its okay.. we should wait to see what next

In camp, Mauli made Coffee/Soup for him & talked to him camly na.. Then why not with Ishaan?
She can explain things calmly & Ishaan will listen her pov..

@fruittoasty...mauli does love ishaan she was not wrong when she admit it to his mom that she loves him...but there is a difference she loves him as a friend...a companionship and mishti father...she doesn't love him romantically...she doesn't have romantic feelings for him...ishaan needs to see the truth but at the same maybe someday she might fall in love with him

@bold --- exactly !! he was so helpless that time.. he wanted to tell her that she is wrong in thinking that this relationship is finished for some silly reason.. but mauli was adamant too.
i guess we shouldnt use desperation word. or else u will have to come in defense when he will be tagged as a despo 😆😆
it was his helplessness..

I had bad experience with a violent ex so any sort of manhandling during a heated exchange gets me scared. It's not even about hurting the person physically, it's about creating a situation where the person is scared. So pushing her, slamming her against wall, against her will, hitting/punching the wall etc triggers me. My ex had a habit of yelling at me and then breaking things. It used to terrify me. Both Kunal and Ishaan are wrong for doing these things and no one should try to justify such behavior. ITV writers need to step out of their cave and realize cavemen behavior is not attractive.
@FruitToasty I completely agree with you that he was wrong to say she had no right to end this alone. Of course she has a right to end it for herself. But she should be decent enough to give him an explanation. Even if it is a fake one because she is too maahan to come between mom and son. She owes him one. And I don't understand why she is hiding it. She doesn't have to be blunt. It's not like the mom is breaking the marriage. It's Mauli who is breaking it because she doesn't like the conditions. She can say she doesn't agree with the things the mom expects so it won't work out. Ishaan is not an idiot. He knows it's something related to it.

Did you anyone notice how there is lot of Mishti talk going on? When she was talking to the mom, Mishti was brought up. And he brought up Mishti as well. Mishti is the glue between Ishaan and Mauli. The biggest reason why Mauli wanted to marry him was Mishti. Kind of funny because she didn't want Kunal to stay with her because of Mishti. She didn't want the child to be that glue or reason. But when it comes to Ishaan, Mishti is primarily that reason why Mauli chose to be with ishaan. She wanted to complete Mishti's family.
