Actually its v diff 2 predict how a person ll react 2 a situation like tis. I cant imagine wat i w'd do in a similar situation. Now its easier for me 2 say tat I ll never forgive my hubby. But in reality is it easy to let go some1 u loved for so many yrs. In real life look at Gauri SRK, Twinkle, Kajol etc. They all forgave their husbands & saved their marriage. In real life wen u don't have love in Ur life and someone cares for u ,u are vulnerable Nandini falling for Kunal is natural but again it depends on ethics of an individual as there is a great saying true test of character of a person is how he behaves wen he has nothing and wen he/she has everything. If Nandini is a person with ethics she wouldn't have done this she would have controlled her feelings.but Nandini here is grey hope makers show her as a person who will never leave Kunal for her desires and she doesn't see right or wrong in her doings all she wants is to live her life to the fullest .if it's realistic do it this way bcoz a person with ethics will never behave like nandini

There is a part in post where in u compared what would mouli do in place of nandini when rajdeep slept with an outsider. I think it's unfair to compare mouli kunal to rajdeep nandini. Mouli is more established then kunal. Their relationship is more of equals. She has a great family support. Be it kunal s family or her own family. Nandini has nothing. I actually found that nandini s reaction quite bold coming from the place nandini is in as on this day. To compare it to mouli would be quite unfair. No matter how much she shivered she told him on his face he is wrong he can't to that.

I agree with u that nandini belongs to old mindset.She likes cooking food not giving opinion ignoring a lot of stuff. Many women behave like that. They shrug it off. That's what they are taught. These things are absolutely normal. There is nothing inferior in being homemaker. Mouli s mom is a home maker but she is strong. It's a choice.

A lot of people find nandini kind of women regressive while lot of people dislike women like mouli. Like they find them over smart and disrespectful. Lot of people blame working women for divorce . These are just mindsets towards women. Some like nandini some like mouli. It's choice. No women is inferior.

I feel Somewhere Nandini actually resents Mauli. Mauli might love Nandini like a sister & think she is helping her but I dont think its mutual. In Harry Potter Dumbledore famously tells that ppl forgive u wen u r wrong but find it more difficult to forgive wen u r actually proven right. He tells this to Ron's mom reg Percy. Here Mauli warned bt Rajdeep & finally she was proven right. Also Mauli does tend 2 come across as slightly bossy & overbearing. Like Monica from Friends. True friends dont mind it coz they love their friend despite the bossiness though it might annoy them. But as I said I doubt if Nandini ever truly loved Mauli. Nandini is a person who automatically leans on a stronger person. Earlier it was Mauli. Then Rajdeep (I know he is a psycho but he is defo a strong personality). Now Kunal. Nandini is a clingy, emotionally dependent person. Tis is y I feel Kunal ll soon tire of Nandini & I feel tat is wen Nandini ll truly become evil.

It is NOT about-

Traditional versus Modern.

Homemakers versus Working women.

Meek versus bold.

It is not about WHO you are but WHAT you are!

a decent human being. at the end of the day.. that should matter more.

my aunt was not much educated; got married early; wore only saaris; was into pooja paath and all that is considered traditional sanskaari.

and she was a complete bad ass.

helped all neighbours, family and friends. took BS from no one at all. she was an empress of her own kingdom.

it really is not about your attire; your job profile or how well you can cook or much you earn.

you are regressive by your thoughts and deeds.

are you someone who respect yourself?

because you can't nobody else will.

and there is NOTHING respectful about what Nandini is doing. Victim or not.. humans don't do this to fellow humans. Stab them in their backs when they opened their hearts for us.

you won't do this to strangers let alone friends.

Nandini is NOT getting the hatred for being saari, cooking and co woman.

If Mauli the character were to be Nandini the character... she would have been trashed too. Irrespective of her being modern, working etc.. coz her deeds are repulsive.

So women.. homemakers, working women, dreamers, wanderers, achievers, average mortals, sweet ones, strong ones, traditional, rebels, meek and the bold... ALL of you are special.
