Rajdeep dialogue are just perfect and they just matches with his personality. Abinav really delivers them in a way that it seems natural and has the necessary impact. If only he would just stop with all this man-handling, then he would be perfect villian with morals 😆

@mango_pudding1: They have really gone over the top with this expressions thing. I guess its as much a test us as it is for the actor performing. Must say, they are doing a great job that we have been able to nail most of them and follow the story as they want us to see it for most part.

PS: Do you guys think that conversation in the cafe was that missing conversation about their intentions regarding each other and Mauli? Hence we see them as guilty but they are only guilty for hurting Mauli but not for having a relationship. Its almost seems as if they had already decided to live together, had already made peace with the fact that they were going hurt Mauli and were just bidding their time.

I have not seen the whole episode yet, so may be this might have been answered already but just wanted to put it there.

You are right!! That really was the missing conversation (kinda sad that it was the only thing they could offer.) because even after watching yesterday's dhamaka episode, the one thing that still stands out is that, they are of course tremendously guilty of hurting Mauli and sad that she found out the truth in this manner, but they are still not regretting their relationship. Nanidni actually felt the full impact of what she has done after watching Mauli's reaction, so she was regretful but not it way that meant she wanted to end it. But Rajdeep had said something pretty nasty things to her. Nasty, but in a way true. So she in my opinion is bound to have second thoughts, though Kunal, I really doubt.

Yesterday's episode was amazing!! I think after a long long time I found myself really getting involved in what I was watching, without having any other distracting thoughts or meddling with my phone. All the actors were fab and while Aditi obviously came out the star, for the first time I thought Shakti was pretty good. Kunal could do nothing but cry, but I am hoping he will have some answers for us in the coming episodes. And Mauli said and asked everything that most of us have been saying all along including, " why Kunal why? " It really was a complete paisa wasool episode.

I absolutely love Abhinav as Rajdeep. His dialogues when they aren't sexist are outright hilarious 😆 Didn't really like his dialogues today but quite liked his and DD 's performance in that scene. I don't know how they are going to take the story forward now that the EMA angle is over so fast. Probably Kunan realising they are not meant for each other and Kunal trying to reconcile with Mouli? There was some foreshadowing on it in the episode I felt.
I didn't feel that at all. Was there anything specific that gave you that feeling?

Okay..I have e another question now. When Mauli kept asking, "pyaar karte the na", Kunal could say nothing in response. Does his silence mean that he had thought he loved her, but only after he started feeling for Nandini, he realized what love was?
Or was he just sad, that he got her to a state where she was questioning everything ?

Methinks, He will not lie if confronted. I guess he himself does not know the answer to that question or also why he fell for Nandini ( I really want to know why Nandini! ) So when Mauli asked him, he could not say Yes' because that would not have been the right answer or would be a lie and he could not say No' because that would totally break her. So he was silent.

Moving on, Do you guys also get a feeling that Kunal and Nandini have moved way ahead in their relationship and we are left behind. When did their relationship become so strong that he called her to discuss Mauli almost like how one partner call another when in crisis. I am totally baffled on when did this happen. All I have seen them doing is "hug and "eye locks? Did we miss something? I also kind of get a feeling that Kunal is more committed to their relationship than Nandini. Like if Kunal decides to step away, she will not even fight but if she tries to run away he will fight and pull her back.

Why did Kunal day " woh mere jaisi galti Nahi Karge to Nandini. Did he mean their relationship or leaving Mauli?

The episode was very good. All of them were very good. Adiiti was the best but I also really liked Shakti and DD as remorseful husband and guilty BF respectively. Rajdeep dialogues were in par sans the man-handling (I hate that ). I think they all really brought life to each of their character in this show. The episode was awesome. Looks like Nandini will be on receieving end tomorrow.

No, I do not think they will reconcile atleast not now, not sure of the future. For now, either k and N will stay together and he will realize his mistake or N will leave and they all will be alone. Mauli does not seem to be a person who will give second chance. If it's was Nandini, then she would have as she gave Rajdeep but Mauli not at all. If she does, it would be due to family pressure.

That was where the makers blundered, right? Not showing them discussing Mauli or even thinking about it. We chalked it down to them being in a trance, drugged by the new-new feelings. How long we waited for them to snap out of it!! I really don't know what the makers were thinking, because that should have been the most crucial phase in my opinion, one that could have helped the audience understand their feelings and their situation better ( at least to a certain extent).
If they want to tell us a story of how even nice people, in spite of having a good married life, can sometimes find love out side of marriage and the repercussions they have to face in life, they need to fill in a lot of gaps and a lot will depend on Kunal's side of the story. But if this story is only about the repercussions of an extra-marital affair, then obviously those gaps were left intentionally and we will only get Mauli trying to rebuild her life, and KuNan suffering of regretting.

I still fee, the former is what they have wanted to show all along, but instead of giving us conversations, they stuck to the fated love story line, thinking that would suffice. But obviously it didn't. They may also have rushed, added or eliminated aspects due to TRP pressure. So the conclusion is that, Kunal's side of the story will tell us the direction this show will take.

I thought "meri jaise galti" could be the fact that they hid it from her, or it could be the relationship with Nandini itself. But I still don't think he is regretting falling for her. He just feels bad about the whole situation.

my take is that from the beginning, mouli is a nice person but has a tough time reading the room (and maybe thats why she doesn't seem to have any friends)... she tries really hard to be the opposite of her mom -- welcoming, warm, kind -- but just like her mom, she has no idea what others feel. (these are just fuzzy impressions as I can't remember the details) but one of the things that struck me odd was in her relationship with nandini.

yea, helping is good but you don't hold on to a person. if she wants to leave, then you say "yes". instead mouli gave nandini a kind of guilt trip like "omo, how dare you leave me?" which I thought strange. it felt like mouli never really understood nandini's dynamics -- one of the things that struck me in the article that I pasted above was how one of the women said that she wanted someone to listen without being judged. here, mouli is forever saying "oh nandini you are finally brave. am so proud of you" -- mouli might think she is being encouraging but in another way, it is almost patronizing and kind of judging no? like nandini wasn't strong and thats why she got abused?

whereas kunal was lot more kinder. he listened and even encouraged her. one of the details I remember is how nandini was petrified on signing this bank document but he just made it seem like a normal thing and asked her to instead practice her signature.. she then practiced and found her confidence. so her feeling more connected to kunal than mouli felt more organic that way.

also how many times do we see nandini calling and inviting herself to spend time with mouli? it is always mouli calling even when nandini does not want to do something. my guess is that because mouli's mom is this horrible difficult person, mouli hung on to nandini in school. nandini was a kind of break from the crazy negativity. and thats why mouli still wants to hold on to nandini in a way...

one of the phrases that has always struck with me -- "friends for a reason, friends for a season, friends for a lifetime." for a reason -- means is that sometimes God sends you friend to help you through a certain tough period. by nature, it is temporary and not reflection on either parties. after that reason, people move on. for a season refers to periods in our life -- school, college, a certain job. once we move out, the friendship naturally becomes distant and is a natural part of life. for a lifetime -- means permanent friendship.

mouli and nandini's friendship is not a lifetime friendship. instead, it has always been either a reason or a season. so there is a kind of short intensity and then a gradual distance. thats how life is. nandini has always known that which is why she has felt alone even though mouli was helping her out. for her, it was like a stranger helping out and you are intensely grateful but you are not going to put your whole life on hold or beholden to them your whole life. it was only kunal that she felt like he was a lifetime support and so she responds differently. the problem is the miscommunication in the sense that mouli has misinterpreted the friendship as lifetime when it really isn't.

ofcourse all of this would be easier to understand if the CVs had lot more dialogues then just silences and stares. 😉

So basically you are trying to say that this is a one sided friendship. Where Mauli has more love care and need for Nandani & vice versa it is not true.
lets go back to the time when Mauli accused Rajdeep of being abusive with her and warned nandani to stay away from her, but nandani choose to belive rajveer instead of siding with her friend. Then she could afford to loose mauli coz she had rajdeep with her. Coming to present the first person Nandani thought of when she was lying on the road was Mauli. She needed Mauli's help in getting out of rajdeep's mess. So it isnt that she dosent need Mauli's help. Yes now she may not need Mauli's help because she has Kunal to help her now. But we have to note that she needed Mauli's help NOT MAULI. And that is not the kind of friend you want in your life

I dont think Mauli has misinterpreted friendship i think she is weak in front of her love for Nandani that she will go all out to help her, she cannot see her in pain where as Mauli's pain dosent matter to nandani that much. For nandani the friendship has never been deep. She has always taken when she has needed and left when she did not need. Mauli Should have known better not to be so emotionally involved with her the 2nd time round after she dint side with her the 1st time when she choose rajdeep over her. But Nandani was in a bad state and Mauli completely melted and believed her friend has come back to her for good

But whatever said, weather Nandani's friendship and care for Mauli was deep enough or not, weather she considered her as a seasonal friend when needed. You do not try to spoil the life and break the trust of a even 'friend for a reason' type friend and snatch her husband after she has helped you so much. That is the lowest a person can fall

yea I agree with @pamk06 @chulbuliadi - based on the first reaction of mouli, she is really angry with kunal (almost more so than nandini) because she sees it not only as a breach of trust, but a shattering of her world view as well as a rejection of who she is as a woman. as she put it, she is not nandini and neither does she want to be. I don't see her taking kunal back at all..

if she did take him back, then it would be a typical drama in many ways and the CVs seem to be taking the typical story and twisting it to try and keep it fresh. the story is asking very tough questions -- why would a happy/successful marriage disintegrate? are people ever happy in their relationships or is it something that constantly needs to be monitored? what is love? is it possible to fall out of love? ...

(sorry for cutting both your posts but just wanted to respond to @bold)...

so I have watched way too many dramas in many languages and one of the typical things that happen with ema stories is the husband and the 3rd party run off from the scene. even if the husband wants to go to talk to wife, the 3rd party is super super insecure and doesn't allow him. he is also coward and he only comes back to her after a few days to give some weak explanation or none at all.

whereas, here, kunal tells nandini to go home. he rushes to mouli and when she rejects him, he calls nandini. she tells him to go to mouli afraid that mouli might do something. nowhere in their conversation was any doubt, fear or insecurity over the path ahead. she is not asking what will happen to her or if he will come later because she knows that he will. he also doesn't reassure her that he is not abandoning her or anything.

so there had to be some missing conversation about intention because these two feel guilt for breaking mouli's heart only but they both had very clear idea of their status quo. ...

@summerrain7 -- what was interesting is that it is a series of questions and each one is becoming terrible for mouli because he is confirming it with his silence. (don't exactly remember the details but just impressions; so if I get it wrong, please excuse)

she initially said something like "but we loved each other." and then it changes to "do you no longer love me?" to "did you love me at all?" and there is this kind of horror that sinks in to mouli...

in fact the only time he does respond is when he says there was nothing wrong with her which makes it 1000 times worse because he is in essence rejecting her not because he fell out of love or that she did something wrong or that her marriage was not happy. instead, it almost sounds like he was not happy in the marriage as he appeared or was just going along with the motions or chalta hai / adjust types to the relationship.so in essence, it tells her that there was nothing she could have done or changed.

also, there was another series of questions that really shook mouli. she says that her ear getting hurt is just temporary and will heal but what about the wound in her heart. she then says something like "how will we get past this?" to "how do I get past this?"... there is this dawning realization that he is not assuring her that he will be coming back...

in every question she asks, she wants kunal to reassure her but he doesn't do anything. his focus is more on her safety but at this time, he is not giving her the answers because they are going to be very tough. hopefully the CVs do a good job during that and not just leave it to stares and expressions. just like mouli, us viewers also need kunal's perspective on what exactly led him to nandini and what is this that he feels for mouli.
