Now for my own views.

There's nothing wrong in taking cameras backstage and film. But yes I personally feel the backstage part can always be avoided from being aired on the show. Finally this is a music show. You add the fun factor to the show to make it more entertaining is fine. But when you add such drama the whole aesthetic nature of the show gets marred.

Bhaskar, I want to distinguish between staged drama and real drama. Staged drama is the one which is concocted just to create a sensation, to pull in viewers, like what we saw in earlier seasons of SRGMP, when love stories were created where there were none!

But sometimes, due to emotional outbursts or other reasons such as someone fainting, there is spontaneous drama. Earlier, these things were carefully kept away from the public and we only got to see what we were supposed to see. Western channels employed no such filters, because they are a more open society.

Whatever be the case my take is film it but why air it on the show. At times it is possible that due to sudden emotional outburst they end up saying something which maybe they regret too later. By airing that part you may end into taking the issue to such a limit that it may cause irreparable damage. But more than that I personally don't like such emotional high voltage drama being aired on a musical show.

but what's the problem in depicting reality if it can titillate the masses, generate money for future shows and all of that? unless someone does not want truth revealed?😊

CB, there is definitely something wrong if it is ONLY for titillating the masses and generating money for future shows. I mean the principle would be wrong. Once this becomes the prime motive, then all values will go down the drain because there will be people like Himesh who will do all kinds of unsavoury things.

But if there is a way that reality filming helps to get some genuine message across, it would be valuable. Case in point - Poonam's adopting a girl child.

actually, talent show people wldnt even go as far as ordinary media in chasing people. they'll probably not go somewhere if the contestant does not want his/ her family to be on candid camera😉

How do you think they will not give there consent because they are Gareeb, money monger they have to because all contestant have to sing a dotted line for 2 years so they have to sell them self for 2 years it is a know fact to all surprised you did not knew feel sorry for you.

If they (ZEE) want they make them to do any thing they decide.

Yahan bhi chalu .... need a break man!😆

What "truth" man? Duniya mein bahut se bhayankar truth hain which we need to know first. Gareeb ko aur nicha dikha ke kya milega. That's a momentary outburst of emotions by some uncouth people, use mein kya saach dhoond te ho? This "truth" is not going to make any difference in our lives. Those foolish "not so civilized" people just let Zee made a mockery of themselves.

You may go ahead with your reply, I rest my case .😉

I don't think there is anything wrong if cameras follow a contestant from stage to backstage. As long as contestants and their relatives are eager to air their views, channel will take advantage of such situations. No one forces anyone to say things they don't like.

Yes but as per Poonam she just did not want that part to be made public. According to her that was her own private life. So now the question comes while filming these back stage issues how fair it is to bring forth the private life of these contestants especially when they themselves don't want to.
