Another funny song is "Karoon pyaar chori chori" from Andaaz Apna Apna... Salman's showoff dance, Karishma's new-found-love expressions, Aamir's face, Robert and Ajit's son sleeping in the same bed... oh my God.. that was hilarious!!

Na Jaon Saiyyan, Chudake Baiyan....from Sahib Bibi aur Ghulam........Meena Kumari was simply fantastic as the neglected wife. Her attire, her jewellery, and her drunken stupor... 👏 👏

I would like to mention the picturization of:

Aaye tum yaad mujhe..
Gaane lagi har dhadkan..
Khushboo layi pawan..
Mehka chandan..

Absolutely stunning from Mili.. Amitabh knows that Jaya has a terminal illness and his exhorbitant pain reflects throughout the song!

Here's one more:
Johny Walker singing "sar jo tera chakraaye" in Pyaasa. An ordinary maalishwala transformed into a charmer! Rafi's mellifluous voice and Johny Walker's expressions are enough to make your day. "Jiske sar par haath fira doon chamke kismat uski" he sings tongue in cheek. JW has such a small role in the movie and yet this song makes him unforgettable.

"Mere Saamne Wali Khidki" from Padosan.

It is really amazing when camera changes focus from Kishore da to Sunil Dutt ji and vice-versa while the song is still being played. Just awesome.

"Aapke haseen rukh pe aaj naya noor hai"

Dharmendra has never looked so good on the screen... Mala Sinha looks absolutely graceful and Tanuja looks really cute... The entire chemistry going on in the song is wonderful!

Oh yes yes yes. I think Tanuja never looked better than this - a real goddess! And what a mesmerising song. No wonder the two ladies were swept off their feet.

The only problem with this song is that Sunil Dutt looks like something the cat brought in. 😊

So many songs with beautiful picturization..

in the old movies..
- Bol Re Papihara (Guddi)- I can feel the rain splashing on my hands as Jaya Bachan croons to this Vani Jayram classic..

- Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua (Shree 420) - The best love track I have heard, hands down..its sooooo simple and yet so much of depth especially when the singer goes 'hum na rahenge..rahengi hamari nishaniyaan'..

- Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tammanna hain (Guide) - Waheeda ji was just fantastic in this movie, you can see the joy on her face, its a feeling of freedom, this song makes me feel like just throwin my shoes away!

- Aane Wala Pal (Golmaal) - Brilliant song.. and Amol Palekars expressions were just brilliant in this brilliantly written song..

In the new movies..

- Yeh Jo Desh (Swades) - I just love this song, makes me cry especially when I see SRK's expression that says 'Who am I.. What is my identity'

- Kitni Baatien (Lakshya ) - Preity Zinta and Hrithik talk through their eyes making this song really heart wrenching

- Lukkha Chuppi (RDB) - Waheedaji's expression as she recieves the trunk of her dead son, its just phenomenal

- Tadap Tadap (HDDCS) - Salman Khan in desert, the heat symbolic of the pain in his heart, a very very painful song

- Kal Ho Na Ho (Title Track) - SRK again proves that he is one of hte best actors today... especially the part when he just runs out into the 'dhoop'..excellent...

- Tanhayee (DCH) - No song in contemporary (last 10 years) was able to capture the feeling of being alone in a crowd as this song was able too...

One of my favourite love song to watch is Silsilay's Tulip Garden...Dekha ek baar to ye silsilay hue..
And another is Sunil Dutt and Sadhna..where Sunil Dutt is missing his wife and her song..Tu jahan jahna rahega mera saaya saath hoga
I recently saw Rang de basanti and was touched by the realisitic picturisation of the song..Khoon chala..during the laathicharge. Amazing song, amazing expressions by each actor.
Another inspiring song..which has motivated me time and again is Lakshya's..Payega jo lakshya hai tera, Lakshya ko har haal me paana hai.
