16^th September

The second day of the second elimination round for the third batch

Recap- The second elimination round for the third group started on Thursday where Vineet and Himani got green cards.

The judges are Kavita Krishnamurthy and OP Nayyar and the themi is songs from 2000-2005

Today's contestants-
Ujjaini and Sharib- Jatin Lalit
Irfan- Ismail Darbar
Joyeeta- Himesh Reshamaiya

The first contestant for the day was Irfan who sang Ae chand mujhe chandani ki kasam from Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya-
Good, controlled singing with lot of feel but whenever I listen to him, I think there is something missing. Any way he sang the whole song without any hitch. Very composed.

Mentors-
AS -Beautiful song and beautiful rendetion. Very good
JL- Though our contestants are up against irfan, we should give credit where it is due and irfan truly performed very well. Jatin said that if I was the judge, I would have definitely picked him.
Himesh- Kept on adding superlatives… in one work- "superb"


Ujjaini- Mause ki adla badli from Black (I must admit that I have not heard this song carefully earlier. But beautiful, difficult song- performed brilliantly. The song had lot of classical touch- Indian and western and ujjaini did very well. She sang with lot of emotion- perfect singing is the word. Surprise element in JL's gharana

Mentors-
Ismail- He said that he was lucky that he got to comment after such a beautiful song…and the singing was wonderful.
Aadesh- Aadesh said that with this kind of singing ujjaini can be a threat to nihira.
Himesh- Wonderful singing and said that ujjaini is a strong contender and will reach the finals.
Jatin lalit said that the whole credit for this song is to ujjaini because they did not quite agree to her song selection but she was sure that this song was different and will impress. And she prepared it herself.

Sharib- Mann ki lagan from Paap…sang well …lot of power – I thought he did slipped in couple of places and also his lower notes were not as clear but very powerful singing with good variation. Not trying to copy the original singer. Very good on higher notes

Mentors-
AS- Aadesh found the singing very good. He said that sharib had got him in dhun..which is the real sufiana singing...only few people can actually do like nusrat...
JL- Lalit said that today- one after the other all are performing brilliantly and it might be very difficult to judge them. Kavita K said that given a choice she would go away from here and make one of the mentors sit here. Jatin said that today both the boys have sung so well that even if one of them is shown red card, he will not let that participant leave…he will send 2000sms to save that person. They said that since everybody has been performing so good, they hoped that joyeeta will also continue in the same way.
Himesh- He was also impressed by sharif's performance and said that therse is some magic here today and he is sure that joyeeta will also keep this on.
Ismail- He found the singing very good and all of them were of the opinion that this has been probably the only day when all the contestants have performed so well.

Joyeeta- Piya tora kaisa abhimaan from Raincoat……the only thing I can say is much much better than the last performances…but still some thing lacking…..the throw was not good…though the classical notes were handled well…overall I did not find it very impressive.
Mentors-
Aadesh- He said that he found the performance ok…because he is a filmi music person and he considers it from that angle. Ismail interrupted saying that he uses classical stuff in his music and he found this good…….big fight started where we were shown that the judges did not know where to look…shaan trying to pacify these two…

The results were announced…..as all of you know by now, there are two rounds of singing in this charan but I think the fight ensured that there were no further rounds. The mentors were missing during the time when results were announced. This time I am writing the result because I think it won't make too much of a difference and has been also taken because the second round could not be held. All four were shown green cards. In my opinion ujjaini and sharib deserved it.

This is the big fight between aadesh and ismail which we have been hearing about…after which aadesh refused to come for the shoot. Now the news going round is that he has agreed because his students will suffer otherwise.

22^nd September

The fourth and the final group performed in the second elimination stage on Thursday 22nd September. Today was the first day, hence two of them were given green card and the rest four were shown yellow cards meaning they will perform again tomorrow.
The theme was again the same- RD Burman songs and the judges were Suresh Wadekar and Kavita Krishnamurthy

The contestants for today-
Aadesh Srivastava- Hemachandra and Keka
Jatin Lalit- Abhijeet and Sanchita
Himesh reshamaiya-
Ismail Durbar- Paresh and Vineeta

Recap of the this group – Hemachandra and sanchita had got the green cards in their first outing in the first elimination round. Aishwarya and Priyani were eliminated and shown the red cards.

Today's performances-
Paresh- I think he is an overhyped singer….there were many who were much better but his uk tag has taken him further than his capability (my opinion). He sang Gulabi ankhen (Ismail was shown telling him that the other two singers in this group are very strong and his key strength is his performance and he should keep that. When he started the song in the practice session, he was scolded by ismail). He started a little weak and I think lost the sur also in lot of places but good expressions…but he needs to get the voice throwing also properly..his voice quality is good but it is not highlighted well.

Vineeta- I think she has got a powerful voice and with right training she can be very good. Na ja suno wafa…(ismail was shown in the clipping scolding…..he told her that she is showing her aukat…she is only for those songs like mehboob mere…though he initially told her that he thought she was strongest among the three girls performing today but later was really putting her down)….unusual song and I think she did not performed to her best….there was a positive change from her training clippings (ismail's scolding probably makes an impact)…but not impressive…she is not very open in her singing….confidence is lacking.

Mentors-
All of them were trying to be funny and speaking to paresh in Punjabi…aadesh started it …wah ji wah…and everybody continued. Hardly any comments
About Vineeta, all of them said that she was good and she has improved.


Hemachandra- A very powerful contender…he has in him to make it to the top…his voice quality is good and he is strong in his classical as well…which really is a good combination. He sang Kishore Kumar song Aanewala pal….from Golmaal. Good singing, good control over the voice……I think he needs to put a little more soul in his singing…I find it a little superficial. But definitely a good performance.

Keka- She has a powerful voice but I think she is not very consistent…she has had to fight it to reach till this level and always almost scrapped through. She chose the Lata song…Jahan pe basera ho from basera. A very good song….i think it was an apt song for keka's voice and she performed very well. Good clarity, good sur…good emotion…good in the higher notes…I think it was a very good performance.

Mentors-
All the mentors were happy with his performance. Ismail said that hemachandra's sister had been eliminated some weeks back (hemabindu) and he was crying miserable and he had told him that all this sorrow, he should bring in his singing and it seems that hema was today singing with all that pain.
On keka's performance, ismail said that this is khul ke singing…he feels like slapping vineeta after hearing this…keka was so good… Jatin interrupted saying that even vineeta is good but she is very young and keka is matured….vineeta will learn with experience. Ismail said that vineeta needs to learn and instead of telling her later…he has told her in front of camera…and he is angry because he knows that she is a good singer.

Abhijeet- Again, I think he is an overhyped singer….i think he is only good in his kind of songs and whenever you give him a different song..he falters (remember the last elimination round where he was given the green card because he was better on the previous day..even if u forget, himesh keeps reminding of the injustice given to aishwarya on that day). Jaana o meri jaana- from sanam teri kasam sung by RDBurman……I think surprisingly he was quite good….tried to get the feel..his sur is always good….he modulated his voice well. I really liked his performance.

Sanchita- She got the green card last time in her first appearance but according to me she only got it because the others performed very badly. Today she chose a song contrary to her style (JL were shown telling his students that they want them to sing songs different from their style because he wants to highlight their versatility)…Do lafzon ki hai from The great gambler. I think she was very very ordinary, an asha number sung without her fluency…the beautiful song lost all its character.

Mentors- The mentors were not too impressed with either performances. Aadesh thought that abhijeet did not bring the feel of the song…rd had sung it with so much character which was not there.

Hemachandra and keka got the green cards yesterday.

23^rd September

The last day of the third round of elimination for the fourth and final group. The judges were Suresh Wadekar and Sameer. The theme was songs of 2000-2005

Recap- Hemachandra and keka got the green cards yesterday. Today the following contestants will perform

Ismail Darbaar- Paresh and Vineeta
Jatin-Lalit- Abhijeet and Sanchari (I am sorry about sanchita bit- thanks arien79)

(We were shown clipping where lalit was telling abhijeet that he sang well yesterday but hemachandra had also sang very well. He has to sing well today and get the green card. Paresh admitted in front of ismail that he got besura yesterday and today will work harder.)

The first to perform in today's contest

Abhijeet- Lot of controversy surrounding abhijeet- he sang the song sun re sakhi in the previous round very nicely but did not get the green card. On the second day he sang badly but keeping his previous day's performance, he was given green card, which enraged Himesh. Aishwarya from HR's gharana got eliminated that day and himesh keeps us reminding of the same, time and time again (he did that today as well). The song chosen was Kuch tum kaho, kuch hum kahe…..sang well…..good control over sur….i think the beginning was a litlle too low….you could not even hear the words properly but he got better…good singing with pucca sur…..good feel. He chose a song which was more suited to his style of singing and performed very well.

Mentors-
Aadesh said that abhijeet has proved his mettle…he has sung songs of yesudas, spb, hariharan and now sonu…which says a lot about his singing. (I am not too sure if aadesh said this or himesh). He was impressed with his singing and said that this was his best performance. Himesh, as I had mentioned earlier did bring up the aishwarya episode but said that abhijeet really sang well today. Ismail also praised abhijeet.

Paresh- Dil chura liya…. Shaky beginning but got impressive….his voice quality is very good and gives a lot of feel…his lack of training does show up- he did lose the sur in the antara couple of times, but overall entertaining performance.

Mentors-
Aadesh did mention about the loss of sur at times but said that he was impressed and paresh has improved a lot. Lalit felt that with this the mahayudh has began (meaning that both of them have sung well and so it will be very close). Himesh also liked paresh's performance.

Now the girls…

(we were shown ismail telling vineeta that she needs to improve because otherwise she will have to go back. Lalit told sanchari that she had sung well but keka was better and vineeta cannot be underestimated because she has got a very powerful voice and the only way to counter that is use her classical expertise)

Vineeta- Tinka tinka…..from Karam……very good beginning, she has got a very powerful voice and I think she sang very well. She had a lot of expression…I think she has got a very good voice and can go places with proper training.

Mentors-

Himesh said that vineeta's voice was today's generations voice and can suit playback perfectly. The other mentors also felt that vineeta's performance was good though she did falter in some places but overall quite good.

Sanchari- Tumhari adaoan pe mein wari wari from The rising- mangal pandey. I did not like her singing much….i think she needs to work on her breath- she gets out of breath in her singing….her sur sense is strong but she also needs to work on the feel…otherwise I think her chances of reaching the finals may only remain a dream.

Mentors-

I am sorry but can't write much as I missed this part…but I think overall they liked her performance as it was a difficult song.

Now the second round for the day where the two boys will sing together and the girls together.

Abhijeet and paresh sang the song- koi kahe kehta rahe from dil chahta hai….paresh was the first singer and sang well…good feel and punch of the song was there in his version which was missing in abhijeet's. Abhijeet reduced the pace of the song….and the song no longer remained the peppy number it is….he completely lost the feel.

Himesh said that abhijeet has complicated the matter again as he sang very well in the first round but sang badly in the second.

The girls sang the song Nach baliye from Bunti and babli

Good beginning by vineeta but lost the sur completely in several places in trying to maintain the punch. In comparison, sanchari sang it well..with sur – not too much punch but enough to get the feel of the song.

As the results have been already written in this forum- abhijeet and sanchari got green cards….paresh cried a lot but ismail said that paresh might be back with public voting. Sameer said that paresh will be soon singing one of his songs. Jatin also mentioned at some point that paresh inspite of not staying in India has got so much sharafat in his face that if he had a daughter he would have done rishta with paresh.

29^th September

The next round (third elimination round) has begun. Today was the first day in which two of them got Green card. The others will be performing again tomorrow; out of which two will get Blue card (we still don't know what it means- will be explained tomorrow) and two will get Red Card meaning elimination.

The judges were Pandit Jasraj and Daler Mehndi. The girls were paying a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar (her birthday) and so chose her songs.

The first gharana to perform was Jai ho (AS).

Vishwas- A very strong contender, he has got two green cards in his two last appearance. Hoping to get a hat trick, will he be able to do it? I must mention, that the designers are in action from this round and vishwas was wearing a very funny outfit- it seems like a cross between kashmiri dress and boxing ring overcoat (I am not sure of the term used).
The song chosen- Dil jo na kah saka, a rafi song from Bheegee raat. He was good but not very good- his voice is good but I think he is not utilizing it completely…but sang with good feeling and good control.

Keka- In the third round she performed very well, her song from Basera was really good. She is one of those singers who are quite comfortable on stage (she does stage performances for a living). She had a problem participating in the competition as she is sole earner in the family and staying here for three or more month would create problem. But her younger brother encouraged her to go ahead. She sang- Solah Baras Ki Bali from Ek duje ke liye- wonderful song and sung, like the other day, full throttle but I think she did slip in couple of places. Overall-a good performance.

Mentors- JL said that keka, initially used to sing Richa Sharma kind of songs but now Aadesh has changed her voice completely (it was meant as a compliment). He said that aadesh has certainly worked very hard in moulding both the singers. The others were not very impressed but said that it was ok.

The next gharana- Yalgaar Ho (ID)

Nihira- One of the strongest contender- is seen as potential winner. She is also on hat trick for the green card. Everybody is compared to her because her sure base is really very strong- if I may repeat pandit jasraj's comments years back on Lata- kambakht besuri nahi hoti. We were shown how she is gearing up (by wearing designer clothes!) to impress the public (I think public voting will come into play in the final round. Her Lata song for the day was Roz sham aati thi magar from imtihaan. As I mentioned earlier, she is very pukka on her sur so you can't find fault in her there. But I think, the soul in her singing is missing. This is not a sad song but she made it sound like one- her singing is very mechanical.

Irfan- Last time got lucky when sharib and he, both got green cards (courtesy-mentor's fight). He is a good singer but lacks the feel……and I think needs to work on his voice throw. Seems resticted. O my love, a mohd rafi song from Night in London was chosen for this round by Irfan. Good song to showcase his talent but he has the same problem – too much restraint in his voice- but I think he sang much better than the earlier round. Ok performance but he can do better.

Mentors- Jatin Lalit said that nihira did not perform that good- because they all have a lot of expectations from her. Everybody was of the opinion that irfan was good.

The next gharana- Let'Rock (HR)

Himesh's mantra- be a good human being and a good singer.

Vineet- He is the trump card for Himesh and himesh realizes that he can have only vineet in the final round, joyeeta is not going to survive (going by her current performances). I like vineet's voice- he has got good power but I think he needs better fininshing, also some bit of work on his pronounciation. He sang a song which suits his voice- Kya hua tera vada from Hum kisi se kum nahin. Good singing, he did falter in lower notes but good throw and good emotion- I think he was the best for the evening. He did some variation of his own as well which was good. Another positive thing about him is that he does not ape anybody.

Mentors- Ismail praised vineet for his harkatein which got jatin in action saying that the contestants should try to sing the song properly first and then try these things. A small fight broke off but was edited- we may see more of it in the uncensored. Jatin told himesh that he should give a break to vineet and tell all of them the date-all of them will be happy. Himesh ended by saying Aashiq banaya apne.

The last gharana for the evening- Hum me hai dum (JL)

Ujjaini- she was in wonderful form in the last round. Her song from Black was truly one of the best performances in the challenge 2005- I had never noticed her earlier but her singing that day showed her versatility and made her a strong contender for the finals in my opinion. She chose aa jane ja from intequam. We were shown a clip where jatin was telling her that this song is about a girl who is surrounded by negros and her aashiq is in trouble……She started a little shaky but picked up the tempo fast and was good. The emotion which jatin was talking about was not there but I think she made it sound seductive and it sounded good overall. Her plus point is very good voice and good control over sur.

Mentors- Another mini fight Ismail said that she did not pick up song properly and Jatin claiming that ujjaini sang perfectly. Jatin claimed that ujjaini sang better than nihira today- and ismail said that why is she being compared.

The judges said that the competetion was very good. Daler Mehndi said that they should not try to copy lata, asha, they did not copy anybody. Jasraj differed saying that all of us copied, even lata did- in her initial day she copied shamshad begam and noorjehan. It is by following these great that one can learn and pass on the heritage. Daler, luckily, did not fight and said that follow these great singers but evolve your own identity. (this was targeted at Keka). For ujjaini, he said that she sang good but should concentrate more. For nihira, he said that she should work on her body language which seems like she is the only one good here.

For the boys, he said that Vishwas is very good and has got good seerat and surat which will take him far. For Vineet, he said that there is a little problem but was very vague.
Since the winners have been revealed already, Nihira and vineet got green cards. Nihira did mention that she will work on her body language if it creating misunderstanding. Daler interuppted saying that if there was misunderstanding, they would have chosen ujjaini as she is also very surili. Keka chose yellow card herself saying that she did not sing well and will try and be better tomorrow. Ujjaini said that nihira deserved it today.

Vishwas said that he was looking for a hat trick but he is happy becuase his younger brother has won.
Vineet was asked by himesh not to become proud and be a good human being. He started crying saying that he was under lot of stress for last three days. On asked the reason, Vishwas said that they are very close and since the day vineet found out that he has to compete with his big brother, he has been upset. Jasraj jokingly mentioned that then he should have sang really badly.

30^th September

The 2nd day of the performances-------

Recap- Yesterday Nihira and Vineet got green cards.

Judges for the day- Pandit Jasraj and Daler Mehndi

Theme for the songs- Songs composed by Jatin- Lalit

The contestants for the day- Vishwas and Keka from Jaiho gharana, Irfan from Yalgaar and Ujjaini from Dum.

Nihira and vineet joined shaan in singing the first song of the day- salaam namaste

The first contestant for the day

Vishwas- Vishwas was a standby participant and was chosen and subsequently got two green card in his first appearances. Got a good voice and personality, has got a lovely 'khanak" in his voice which is nice to hear…something which udit narayan has. Aadesh told him that he must get green card, as he is worthy of one. The jatin lalit song chosen by him was jab kisi ki taraf from pyar to hona hi tha. Good selection, it suited his voice quality. Good singing with feeling- got a little husky touch…was a little off in the lower notes. But overall good performance, his voice is very pleasant to the ears.

Mentors- Ismail said that vishwaas did not pick up the song properly but got hold of it later and then sang it well. Jatin-lalit refused to comment saying that it is their song and that is why they can see many faults but overall he sang well. Himesh refused to comment saying if JL don't want to comment, he should also not say anything. (he did that religiously in the full episode- seems like someone has told him to shut up as whenever he opens his mouth, it is to complain about….sweet-2 nanu, pyare…….and so on.

Keka- Aadesh told both of his students that he wants them to win only if they deserve and if at any point they think that they have picked up the song from "khali" and are given green cards, they should not take it and on the other hand if they think that they have sung better than the others- don't say that the other deserved it. ( I am impressed by aadesh- he seems genuine). Keka said that this is the reason why she, when asked yesterday, had said that she deserved yellow. She chose a beautiful song (one of my favs)- Baahon ke darmiyan from khamoshi. Aadesh did point out that her voice is not ok and baitha hua but he is not saying this as excuse. It was evident in the song that her voice was not at her best. But she sang it melodiously…. problems in sur..she did falter few times. I was not much impressed by her singing today (the other day- she was very good). I think this was not her kind of song and the sweet romance of the song was also missing.

Mentors- Ismail said that we should acknowledge JL for giving us this wonderful song and incidentally he had played violin in this particular composition. He said that considering Keka's limitation with her voice (baitha hua), she tried well. (seems like ID is in a trip of reform- he was all nice and good, praising everyone- probably realizes the bad image he is getting in public eye). Jatin lalit also felt that the effort was good.

Irfan- Irfan is a singer whom I find very one dimensional- hardly any feeling in the song- sur and voice good but nothing to rave about- very mediocre. Here ID got shyana- he chose a song Rooth ke humse from Jo jeeta wohi sikandar, which has been sung by Lalit and sent irfan to learn from Lalit. Good move, good song selection. Irfan was shown as being trained by lalit. This song suited his voice perfectly- a sad song but not too much emotions- no need of any energy. But to his credit, he sang it wonderfully- copied the original song nicely and some bit of his own harkat as well.

Mentors- Jatin-lalit said that in only two stanzas, irfan had created an atmosphere which is not easy. Aadesh said that irfan has sung wonderful and was the best (I think he meant today). Lalit said that irfan was very hardworking and told ID that soon we will sending our singer to you to get trained.

Ujjaini-I know I am repeating myself, but her Black performance has made her one of the favs. Even yesterday, her singing was good but it is difficult to beat nihira. Jatin lalit were shown telling her that she must win today specially because it is their songs round. Ye dil sun raha from Khamoshi sung by kavita krishnamurthy was the song chosen. It is very difficult to sing a song of KK- but ujjaini tried well………good control over sur but her voice through did not too good…it was better the other day. She did falter on sur also in couple of places but handled the western bit very well. Good singing overall.

Mentors- Frankly, I don't remember the comments…but I think they all said that it was good effort.

The second round-

Boys- Banke tera jogi from Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani.

Vishwaas started it and sang it well….his khanak in the voice helped him in this song….irfan lacked the energy needed for this song…seemed very flat.

Mentors- Ismail said that when will I make songs like this! (reform mood). He said that I hope jatin lalit keep on creating such wonderful music all their life. Most of the mentors were refusing to comment saying when they have such guni judges, they should leave it for them.

Girls- Aaj mei upar from Khamoshi sung by Kavita. Ujjani started the song and sang it well…specially the ta..ra…rarariri….. ok. But keka was very good in this, her powerful voice was certainly more suited and she sang it well.

Irfan was shown the blue card, vishwaas had already requested his teammates not to cry if he lost. He said that his gharana was still there and hema and Rajeev will take it to the final and may win it. He said that if god is willing he would come back.

Keka and ujjaini- there was a tie- They were asked to sing their own song- antara again. Daler said that keka slipped on sur 5 times and ujjaini 8 times. Keka can do very well on stage and Ujjaini will be very good in recording. But the blue card goes to keka. Aadesh pointed out that ujjaini has already sung for him and it is 99% final and if mata rani is willing even that 1 %will be final. Ujjaini was crying because she had dropped a year in studies to come here and not chosen science stream even though she had good marks because she wanted to be a singer. Daler said that music is the right choice and she will certainly got far. Keka (who was in lucky colour of his gharana-red) said that she did not know what to say as she was close to ujjaini, they stay quite nearby in Calcutta and shared a room here too.

Shaan said that the brahmaashtra may not be from the top gharanas as will be chosen by the mentors together.

Update with results 7/10/05

The episode started with the winners of the green card swananda and hema singing kajra re with Shaan. I must mention that swananda's voice really sounded nice and hema's very powerful.

Theme for the day- Songs composed by ismail darbaar

Judges- Pt. Jasraj and Daler Mehndi

Participants- Sharib, Niladri, Raktima and Joyeeta

The first contestant for the day-

Sharib- Sharib chose one of my favourite Ismail numbers- tadap tadap ke from HDDCS (reminded me of abhijeet's version in Indian idol- he was fantastic). Ideal song chosen by sharib- it has got the dard and the chance to show the range of his voice. Little weak beginning but quick to pick up- very good control, the ease with which he goes from higher note to lower note is really commendable. Did lose sur couple of times but overall a good, heart touching performance. In the end added a little bit where he went a little off key.

Mentors- All the mentors complimented ismail (including judge Jasraj) on a beautiful song, and jasraj mentioned that rongte khade ho gaye- the way sharib sang. The comments were mainly on the song rather than the singing but everyone was happy with the performance. (ismail got emotional talking about how he could not give happiness to his parents as his father passed away just after ID got success from this movie). I am not sure but I think himesh mentioned that this was not sharib's best performance.

Raktima- So someone has become as smart as Ismail- aadesh sent raktima to ismail for training and before the performance started said that the total credit of this performance goes to Ismail as AS did nothing in this. Raktima sang- hum did deke sanam- wonderful composition and very good singing. Raktima, who is very nasal, controlled that very well. She had chosen the sad version and sang really well- very particular about the sure- good emotion.

Mentors- Ismail said that he only got half an hour and in such a short span what this girl has done is really praiseworthy. All the mentors were happy with her performance but the conversation were mainly about the composition.

Niladri- Today was his mentor's day- so he has got the advantage. But I am surprised at the song selection (even niladri did not seem happy with the song). Tera jadoo chal gaya from the same movie. A good song where niladri had ample chance to show his talent but the song is not as good as sharib's. Good performance, did slip few times- but good control. The accent is very evident and I think niladri needs to work on it.

Mentors- They felt that this was niladri's best performance (I sometimes do not understand their opinions) and himesh said that tera jadoo chal gaya.

Joyeeta- After yesterday's dhamaal performance, joyeeta is back in form. She chose a song which I have not heard before ae shabnami (I think). Strange song which does not a set pattern of antara and mukhda- one of her better performance though she did slip in some places.

Mentors- The mentors were all praise for joyeeta- JL complimented ID again for a wonderful composition and since they had not heard this compositon (so I am not the only one) thought they should have listened to it. AS said that she was best. Himesh kept on adding adjectives- Superb, great…….

Duet round-

Girls- Nimbooda from HDDCS- both of them performed well- raktima had better pakkad over sur and joyeeta added lot of expression.

Boys- Wo kisna hai from Kisna. Weak beginning by sharib- he did pick it up but the energy required for this song was missing and he lost sur also. Niladri sang the song vry nicely right energy, right expressions.

The results- Daler again started counting the number of times they slipped on sur. And the end result was that joyeeta and niladri had slipped more times so the winner sharib and raktima.
