It could be two things -
1) Paro does not see through Laila's intentions, and has no clue how her presence poses a threat to her marriage, literally.
2) She is so shaken that his response holds paramount significance. like she says, if he does not consider her to be his wife, she has no hold on him in any case. Getting rid of Laila will be inconsequential then because it could always be something or someone else that severs their relationship tomorrow. It's a losing battle in that case and hence why more important to know the answer to. She needs a reason to fight this... If there is no reason, the battle is lost already.
Leesan: Sorry for re- quoting everyone, but everyone made such valid points .
Deep down Paro knows Laila has ulterior motives in being there...and that is obviously to stir the pot further, and get her hands on Rudra, and if all else fails create such a schism between the two that Paro leaves and Rudra eventually returns to his old habits! But the bigger picture for Paro is her own place in Rudra's life ,especially now that his past is now impacting the present and future of their lives together. But are they really " together?" And what does " together" mean to him?
It's like when you're a teenager and unsure of the guy who keeps calling, turning up unexpectedly, volunteering in the same clubs etc. and you want to ask " So are we dating now?" What are we exactly? And she knows with Laila on site, she's bringing things to a head, and with Rudra's so discombobulated, he may be more likely to come up with a definite answer to her questions.
Errr... If I woke up from bed after a disturbing nightmare, and discovered my spouses's ex playing hanky panky ,and massaging his hand, he would certainly get a hot cup of tea and you know where!!
But Paro cannot take the lead on this yet until she is sure where she stands .Right now she's hurting and lashing out at Rudra because he is the one she loves, and it is this love for him that's the cause of her pain at this point.
