I honestly don't have any explanation for her behaviour other than the CVs forget their meds.
But I liked the show. No KCM and less of Laila was a winning combination.

Paro seems to be sure that her doubts have basis and that her doubts will be proven right. She is right to have genuine doubts but I feel that she already feels her doubts are right - at least to some extent. She isn't doubting her doubt, she seems to be 100% sure that her doubt is valid. Do I make any sense?

Again, that is just my interpretation of Paro today and you may not have seen it like that at all. It's fine - we all have different perceptions, and that's what makes discussions like these so interesting 😊

Yes, you make perfect sense and you are a much deeper thinker than I am.

I just like the fact they didn't show the two witches!!! It was a win win situation - hopefully the tradition continues tomorrow

It's simple, that could be two things too.

1) that sequence was directed by a different director. so we r not supposed to analyse today's reaction based on that since they really don't expect us to remember because this director does not either 😆

2) that was before she knew what brought Laila there, remember Paro believes in giving chances, so once she heard Laila's version, she has lapped up Laila's version, of changing... Going by your logic, she should not be living in that house with KCM too, she has far too many attempted murders to her credit than Laila does.😆 I know this is not exactly the same thing but...

Ok I lied, there is one more point.

3) even if Laila stays out, if Rudra does not consider Paro his wife, there is nothing stopping him, in her current shaken and stirred and rattled state of mind...she has conveniently chosen to overlook all the signs that he does care for her. Now that she is aware of this threat that lurks outside thier door, she wants to know... If she has no hold on him as a wife... She has no lead... He has to give her a reason

IT'S NUMBER 3 - lol

She's rattled because he has shaken her faith in him. It's not until she can stop and think that she will be able to see he does care for her.

Hi just saw the episode.. Days are so busy... Thought I will see the episode on tv only...
I liked it.. News travels fast in this house...
Night paro knew, now mythili dilsher everybody knows.. It's quite like real life..
Tv lands were so Ekta inspired that I have only seen fl cry for weeks then tell a friend.. After 2 weeks ..
Dilsher was giving relationship gyaan to his son... 😆... It's good ...

I think rudra was right to lay the bare facts before going any further with paro...but paro baffles me.. She is being sanctimonious about Laila staying... And she asked rudra what is her importance in his life.. But if rudra says u matter to me... Then she's going to leave him. To fulfill her promise..😕
what are cvs thinking..

Promise or no promise.. I still think paro was right to ask the pertinent question... About their relationship.. It seems her dream bubble has snapped and she has woken up to reality and so is asking the hard questions...

Ankita is a very poor actress... I had sympathized with the other woman.even in Balika vadhu the other woman got my sympathy.. I had loved lavanya .. Most of ipk fans do... But she has made twitching twirling..irritating..in RR..

If she is negative.what is her motive . Mohini has greed and avarice to hate rudra and dilsher and also anger and hatred against dilsher.. It spurs her,...
Laila has been used and discarded by rudra..she could have bottled her anger against rudra to spoil his life.. Or used the jealousy against paro to destro her.. In haldi her emotions were spot on even in jhaanki.. But right now I don't think she can handle so many scenes..her expression makes her look like a delusional woman.. No wonder mohini laughs at her..

I was surprised paro in her dream gauged Laila and her dialogues correctly that means she realises Laila for what she is..

I liked ur post Sush...

Hey 😃

Exactly, if it's not real. Kicking Laila out will only throw her out of sight not out of mind. If there is no reason that holds him back... it will never be real in that case.

The disconnect is how they had shown Paro earlier...when she believed in the divine and soulmate connection between her and Rudra. That feeling that she and Rudra were meant to be together was so strong that she even went to the extent of publicly proposing to him. At that time there was no doubt in her mind about whether Rudra will love her or accept her...for her it was meant to be. Did the thought that Rudra could have some other woman in his life cross her mind...ofcourse it will never happen here but what if Rudra was in love with Laila. And even after the hate marriage..even after he took those 8 vows, she was fine with whatever was given to her in the relationship...again because of her belief that eventually everything will be fine and Rudra will come around.

So why did that divine belief, the soulmate connection, the faith she had shatter now ? The CVs built that whole premise of divine love and completely shattered it...today Paro is questioning will Rudra ever accept her as his wife or love her back. To me that is a big disconnect in her characterization.

Hi Siesta...a very fair point indeed!
I think they kept Paros character sort of divine In that segment...about shiv Parvati story...completely devoted...no questions...no demands...etc...The problem is it got too one dimensional after Laila's entry...I was feeling like Paro is not connecting with the reality...This is certainly a shift...to make her more human...give her more emotions than that one and only one of love and devotion...Transitions are always the most difficult...

Does that make sense?

Yes the episode was a mess of paro's emotions. I think we as an audience are also confused because so far in the show her thinking is very one dimensional. When she has set her mind on something she goes full steam ahead, she is not like rudra and doesn't have ifs and buts storming her head. Rudra is the complex thinker so we expect him to have erratic emotional outbursts, he is a man of convictions of his duty, but Paro is a woman of convictions of her emotions. So for the first time we see her emotional convictions shaken and she is unsure. Was this done deliberately by the writers or is it just inconsistency in her character.

The episode starts with an insecure nightmare of hers which made sense I could relate to that, but then her confrontation with rudra took another turn and suddenly she questions if she is his wife, I was like rudra baffled aiyyy what happened to laila bothers me angle, and further head scratcher is her conversation with mythilli will he ever love me was that ever in doubt. Paro stance so far in this show is her unwavering confidence that she can read his eyes and knows he needs her and she is his wife and they are meant to be. All this doesn't change with Rudra's past so why question him on that front.

Is Rudra confused at the end is he wondering damn do I have to spell it out for her now I thought I just made it perfectly clear since we got married that she is sreemati, i call her my wife a few times during the day, if she is hurt or cries it pains me did i not make that clear like a million times since we met does not that show my love, oh i only ever listen to her what more adhikar does she want, i might throw a few tantrums here and there say some nonsense but come on all husbands do that why not me not fair, is there anything else i am missing from husband to do checklist because i thought i got my bases covered. Ok jeez she is pissed off about the red thread nahhh my paro is not materialistic like that but never mind I will go get a nice gold one just in case women seriously do we have to get married again, bloody hell I should just say the vows properly this time and not be drunk ok maybe just a little.

At the end of the episode I am left wondering what is Paro's problem. Rudra has in more ways than one shown her she matters, she knows it, he knows it, we know it, all of Rajasthan knows it. Tea thing was kind of cough petty cough, now shoot me because rudy boy never got his tea only baapusa did lolzzz. Only because this is Paro she is eternal nurturer she will never turn her back when her Rudra is asking for something, she will hide his phone to force tea down his throat, jump through windows to make sure he doesn't poke himself, so that was odd to see her not give him tea when he asks for it. I think Paro should just have her outburst and get it over with, she will feel much better lolzzz. Is she pretending none of this matters to her; that her husband was with another woman before her, she is jealous of laila, and worst she feels petty that she feels such thoughts and is hence channeling her frustration towards other issues and confusing us.

Oh my God your entire post made me burst out laughing 🤣 Especially the third paragraph though!!

I agree with pretty much your entire post...and @bold that part especially! Why is Paro doubting Rudra's love for her so much when she has always claimed that she can read his eyes so well and that she can see that his eyes say one thing while he himself says something else?? You said it perfectly, it doesn't make any sense to me...does she want reassurance?? She knows Rudra is a man of actions and is not good with expressing himself...isn't him cupping her face gently and him telling her that he can't stand to see her in pain enough to tell her that he feels a lot more for her than he ever has for Laila??

@red bold that's probably exactly what Rudra was thinking😆 And why he couldn't understand why Paro doesn't see that he feels for her...I think there are two kinds of people on this forum today. Those who understand Paro and those who don't. I don't, maybe it's because I'm thinking like Rudy boy 😆

@blue bold...yeah that's what I'm confused about too 🥱

@purple bold...yeah what Paro did with the tea was only petty because she is otherwise so selfless...if she had been portrayed as a normal human being from the beginning her tea action would have been normal...but she has been shown as an eternal nurturer, like you said, and so this tea thing was just...off.

I would just like to clarify...even though I don't understand Paro I can still understand where she may be coming from...but Rudra?? Rudra is an alpha-male and is proudly the man of the house (not counting his father) so keeping his character in mind who is Paro to decide whether Laila stays in the haveli or not?? I mean, wouldn't the Rudra we know just say to Paro: "stfu it's my haveli k. Laila get out and go to Aman, you'll still get protection but there is no way in hell you are staying in my house."

Ok now I'm thinking too much...I think I'm just going to end this with...the realization that maybe I don't understand Paro or Rudra 😆 And I don't know why I'm trying so hard to understand them when it's clear that the CVs always play around with their characterizations for the sake of the story

Hi Sush, as usual nice post. I felt todays episode was actually good. We had no idea what was going on in Paro's mind yesterday. Was she shattered, yes, but did she think of it as his past...don't know.

But today's highlight was when Paro mentioned that it was in his past BEFORE she came. She has no problem with Laila. She then goes on to feel that she has no place in his life to question him. HE hasn't given her any right. He hasn't even given her a mangalsutra. To top it all there are those 7 hate vachans . She keeps thinking of the 'I will give you no happiness nor will I let you be happy' vachan.

So now her 'destiny' theory has taken a big hit. She who thought of a fairy tale where the sweet maiden tames the arrogant beast and they live happily ever after... is now slapping herself on her face and wondering if it was all her imagination. How can she have been so nave. What hold does she have on him. For gods sake, they weren't even married properly!

She conveniently forgot that she is to leave him one day. They could have shown that here to highten her confused feelings. Today was all about what Paro feels about the Laila issue.
