Rudra tends to wear his heart and his anger on his sleeve. And he has ranted 'khubsoorat aurat' at her enough times for her to get the gist of his issues. She knows he feels abandoned, that he still carries that abandoned child inside him ... and she has tried to give him her unconditional love despite his gruff behaviour, his rough words, his downright rudeness ... because she believes that under all that, there is a decent and a good man.

Rudra is wrong ... she does know him ... much more than he thinks, and much more than he would like.

But has he ever tried to understand her? Has he ever given anything to this relationship? He has only ranted and raved that he was forced to marry her to save his job ... repeated time and again ... till she has stopped listening to him. And now that she has decided to take him at his word and leave him ... then she is 'not being understanding enough'.

I loved the way Paro treated him in the last scene ... tough love ... some home truths, and then left him to think. Life deals everybody different cards ... it's up to each individual how to play them.

Paro was right Rudra needs to get use on taking care of himself.

Paro leaving Rudra is not same as his mommy leaving him because in this case Rudra is the one who had been pushing her away and asking her to leave every single day whether he is saying from his heart or not thats another issue...so theoritically he cannot blame her for going away

but the only thing i want is that Paro should confess her reason to leave before she goes away...may be Mala too had a reason to leave Dilsher and her son years back...but Rudra's ignorance of it had made him so bitter...this time i want Rudra to know of Paro's sacrifice...lets see how he reacts to that

Good kostin, NBji! What amazes me is that its mostly other women that have this expectation! 😡

A lot of forumwasis are expeting the seperation track, but I am afraid it will be some hackeneyed version and no redemption; drawing parallels from another show that had the same writer.😛

Because that itself is the "ideal" premise of the show. And of any daily soap. In fact, this is not the only trope that is perpetuated on screen. The idea that the woman can "change" the man if she is patient, and loves him enough- it bothers me. Paro has been pursuing Rudra with the same thought in her head, from whatever I understand of her. Real life consequences for any woman in such a position might be harmful.

You are so right but that doesn't stop people in real life to ask this of women...

The real life Rudras may not be as harmful but then real Paro are asked to be understanding only!!!

Why i always wonder!!!!

and every show almost endorses it is rather disturbing!!!

Because our society has been programmed since times immemorial to lay the onus of making a marriage work on the woman. This maybe the 21st century but a marriage between a man and a woman is still seen by many as a favour that the man and his family are doing to the girl . So she must take the good, the bad and the ugly all in stride.

Of course this happens in real life. All I'm saying is shows perpetuate the tropes. Expectations from women are a product of heavy social conditioning. It is a vicious cycle. That such tracks work for the TRPs and even abuse gets romanticised, is a serious issue.
