so where can understanding ever begin
had he known his issues he wouldnt be so damaged , i dont think he wants any kind of closure , he didnt try to understand his mom all these years nor searched for her , may be she all negative may be she is not
the thing is i think rudra the way he has been portrayed is the weaker one here , so if the marriage has to work someone has to take a step
paro being the one who is clear about her feeling and wants the relationship to work

other choice is rudra who doesnt know how he feels and doesnt want the realtionship to work( after forcing her into marriage)

yes. It has been a unique aspect of this show. Other damaged heroes were damaged. not exactly weak, but this one actually is while she is always portrayed as the stronger of the 2.
That is why i think they showed her sticking around as much as she could not cz she is a doormat, but cz she wanted to make it work.

And now that she was given a legitimate reason (in her delusional universe which i guess for a girl from such backwaters is ok) to leave, she knowing she will not be around anymore stopped mollycoddling and gave him some home truths..

anyway will wait n see how this turns out.. i want her to leave for a while, for him to stew a bit n figure out stuff.. not for her sake, but for his actually.
cz after all what kind of life is it when one pours alcohol over wounds instead of getting them treated? Literally and figuratively both i mean!

i agree she does not need to understand him...

im looking forward for paro to leave. i hope she leaves the house as well. but steping back from him is a good step. she needs to kinda get away n extend her horizons bec she is very sheltered. and rudra needs to work on himself n understand he has stuck gold with paro. ... who love him unconditionally n is loyal to him unlike everyone else in his life.

Because most men especially the kind like our "hotsa" have not grown up yet.
They are babies in big bodies, who are still crying because mommy left them alone to deal with the big bad world.
So how will they understand anything?

Hopefully, he will become a man and learn to understand and deal with life before she comes back

Nice post .
It's important that both of them understand each other...
Then only relationship can work...
For a relationship to work,it's important that both parteners should respect each other...
In desi dramas angry young men treating their wives as doormats is so fashionable...
Thank Heavens...I am not paro...I would have slapped Rudra & left him a long time ago...
So for me both characters are flawed because it's a soap & yep GH is the writer...

Agree wholeheartedly with you.
Although men will never really understand women no matter what! :) it's best that they accept that upfront! Lol šŸ˜†

Why should CVS listen to fandom demand just because they don't want separation and want only PaRud mushy romance?

I say being it on!
