I was watching gen 1 lol as I was bored and there was a epi where Akshara gets locked in a bank locker for 4-5 hours and omg everyone in the family are crying tensed and when Akshara returns Gayatri her Saas is crying and feeding her as if she is back from a war torn area.

Akshara is full on over acting and crying and even daddaji is crying and getting hey bhagwan kya hogaya.

Abhira on other hand is treated like trash when she is in pain

Gen1 is a gem!!! How nicely they portrayed every relation!! It lasted for 8 yrs showed every stage after marriage!!

Hina's overacting matched her character pretty well.

Everyone had such intense expressions. Akshara's maa was the best.

It was realistic how Akshara was accepted into this family and she too faced criticisms and discrimination

Gayatri always had a typical mil nature of coddling her ladla but she never tried to separate Akshara and Naitik and be a thali ka baingan

Gayatri was grey but not evil.I remember when Naitik and Akshara had the accident before coma leap and Gayatri was proud that Naitik protected Akshara in accident and didn't blame Akshara.She was proud that naitik ne apna Pati Dharam nibhaya.

Madam’s birthday is on KC, so she wants Mihir to celebrate her birthday and come to her house instead of being with Tulsi. She’s like I have nothing against Tulsi, but why is she the first priority of Mihir and why will he go to her, so I have to do something to separate them and this way he can come to me. She does plotting which lands Tulsi to her house and makes Mihir and Tulsi do karwa chaut in front of her

Rajshri never discriminated between Akshara, Varsha or Jasmeet yk ? Each of them had their own flaws, phir bhi.

She also supported her grandchildren but told them were they went wrong without glossing over their mistakes. One of my most fav characters in Rishta.

The real downgrade started when the standards came down from Maheshwaris & Singhanias to Goenkas. Uske baad the standards never went up.

I used to hate goenkas.. but after seeing poddars they looked sane to me🙏🏻

Maheshwaris are the gems, next comes singhanias, I also liked Rashmi’s saas how she supported her bahu instead of her vile son!
