Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan tears into A R Murugadoss, takes a jibe at Madharaasi's box office failure

Salman Khan who two weeks back replied to Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap in style on Bigg Boss 19’s Weekend Ki Vaar called out AR Murugadoss. Comedian Ravi Gupta had come as a guest. He asked Salman Khan if there were some movies he regretted doing in his career. Salman Khan said when he looks back he wonders why he took up movies like Suryavanshi (1992) and Nishchay (1992) in his career.

Ravi Gupta said he quite liked Sikandar no matter what people said about the film. Salman Khan also said that he found the story of Sikandar beautiful when it was narrated to him.

He said that he heard that AR Murugadoss said that he would come on sets at 9 pm. Salman Khan said that when Sikandar was announced both Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss were associated with the project. Then, Nadiadwala got diverted elsewhere, and even AR Murugadoss went to work on his big South movie.

He said he was blamed for his unprofessional attitude, and his injuries were highlighted. Salman Khan said AR Murugadoss was working with an actor in South who came on sets at 6am but still the movie tanked. He indirectly said that Madharaasi was a bigger flop than Sikandar yet it was declared as a blockbuster.

It seems he is upset that the whole failure of Sikandar was pinned on him. AR Murugadoss said that Salman Khan would turn up nearing midnight, when the kids roped in for the film would be sleepy. He said this made it tough for him to shoot with Salman Khan. AR Murugadoss also said that the whole team was on Salman Khan’s side while he only had a couple of his assistants to support him. He said this is why he could not realize the vision he had with Sikandar. Madharaasi starring Sivakarthikeyan was also declared a flop.
