Esha Deol extends heartfelt birthday wishes to ex-husband Bharat Takhtani, underscoring their cordial bond

Bollywood actor Esha Deol shared a heartfelt birthday wish for her ex-husband Bharat Takhtani on social media, reflecting the cordial relationship they continue to maintain. The former couple, who separated in 2024 after more than a decade of marriage, have consistently prioritised their children and family ties over personal differences.

On Sunday, Esha posted a picture of Bharat posing for the camera. Along with the image, she wrote, “Happy birthday Dada to my babies. Stay happy, healthy and blessed ??🧿.” Fans appreciated the gesture, noting how the two have managed to maintain mutual respect despite their separation.

Just a week prior, the former couple were spotted together at a family dinner. Bharat had shared a selfie from the restaurant, which included Esha and her sister, signalling that they remain on friendly terms while co-parenting their daughters.

Esha, the daughter of veteran actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra, married Mumbai-based businessman Bharat Takhtani in 2012. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Radhya, in 2017, followed by Miraya in 2019. After 11 years together, they announced their separation in February 2024 through a joint statement. It read, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children are and will continue to be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy being respected.”

In August 2025, Bharat confirmed his relationship with entrepreneur Meghna Lakhani. The couple shared pictures from their time in Spain, making their relationship Instagram official. Bharat captioned one post, “Welcome to the family,” along with the hashtag #itsofficial.

Despite moving forward in their personal lives, Esha and Bharat continue to co-parent Radhya and Miraya, demonstrating a respectful and cooperative approach to parenting.
