Moving from heartbreak (first para with confusing Kesari Ram as paro) to more heartbreak (paro calling Aman, Rudra talking to Paro and Paro talking to JK) , to terror to again heartbreak (NO, I DID NOT HAD A SMILE OR SIGH OF RELIEF) is a tough job, especially when you are trying to gulp your sobs throughout.

The conversation between Paro and JK is special. You know Why?? Because its normal. A normal conversation, with soft voices and encouraging words and innocent questions. Encouraging, because paro was almost encouraging him to kill her as he has to do, and JK encouraging her by telling that her truth is known to everyone. All this amongst the very scene of death.

I cant say I wont have nightmares tonight.

And the way all those officers wanted to stand by her in the very moment, as if giving her their silent support any way they can, I had this huge physical pain just below my neck when I was reading that portion.

When I read last part, I thought I will never be able to forgive Rudra for putting her through all this. But today he earned my (and probably of all baisa's) forgiveness, when he went to her cell before JK arrived. He wanted her to speak, so he could save her , not because he wanted to prove her a terrorist. After that whatever he did, it was him stepping again on the ladder towards the HERO title in our eyes. But that, was the moment when he earned our forgiveness.

Napsterji, You tell me, how I should praise your skill so that you don't feel offended. Anything I have known till date as "praise" is nowhere near what you deserve. So I am asking for your help. Help me in giving you your due as a writer.

phew! you said it for me too! thank you! Really there are no words to explain the feelings you create in the reader with this tapestry you are weaving...
I feel so inadequate in expressing myself and hope you are able to get a tiny sense of this feeling in me... pure awesomeness!

Oh god...this was such a heartbreaking OS! I knew from reading the Tomorrow section that this was going to be an intense chapter and boy did you deliver.

Reading about how Paro still suffered nightmares from her past was so realistic. Her present may be beautiful but it is beauty achieved through so much pain and loss. But how can her heart be so big???? Rhetorical question because after all this is Paro... Innocence thy name is Paro. The way she reached out to Laila and withstood her verbal assault was so painful. Courage, a spine of steel and the need to do the right thing for those around her.

Loved the twist of her seeking forgiveness from Laila rather than visiting Laila to give her forgiveness. I was not expecting that. Seems to be a common trend when it comes to me reading your stories 😆

The dreams that Laila weaved was now being lived by Paro through no fault of hers. By accident and incident, Paro is where she is and Laila is where she is. It was so great that you focused on how different their lives would have been had that moment at the border not occurred!! You are such a brilliant writer! It is a pleasure and honour to read all your stories.

And now for Yesterday parts... Ugh my heart was crying! Seeing Rudra push and push and push Paro to her limits. But what came across clearest was the feeling of gloom and repression...everyone in the BSD including Rudra knew that something wasn't right but still they kept pursuing the breaking of an innocent girl.

Cruelty, ruthlessness, efficiency, a total lack of any human emotions, inhuman drive and icy, frightening self-control---all those qualities meant Rudra Pratap Ranawat. But to know it, and to see it in action were different things. The sheer callousness, the brutality of the man was shocking.

This is the Rudra that was promised to us in the promos and the start of the show. The man who did not understand limits when it came to fulfilling his patriotic duty. The one constantly burning and burning others in his rage.

The massacre incident! Genius idea. Exactly what I expected from a military border-conflict based story. And the twist of it being engineered not as revenge for Paro being taken but as a means of guaranteeing her death is a masterstroke. Seriously, where do you come up with such ideas????

And the inclusion of Jasheem Khan! 👏 Bravo! You went to a story place that others would tremble to even step foot in. But you barged right in and brought to such detail a depraved character who revels in torture and pain. It was so real and organic. A natural progression for your series of stories. I had wondered how dark it could go...the pain and torture of Paro by Rudra. Would it go so deep that it would be unbelievable that she and we would ever really forgive Rudra? And thank god for Jasheem Khan. He managed to ensure that Paro's pain was felt without Rudra being hated to beyond redemption.

The section you dedicated to Rudra channeling Paro's pain was an excellent inclusion. Otherwise it would be too hard to believe that Paro could forgive him or that he could truly regret what he had done. Him internally burning himself watching her pain and being helpless to stop himself from fueling the fire was insane. Brilliant but insane.

I've always mention your amazing middles and endings but this time I have to point out the start of Yesterday Part 3. The conversation between Aman and the prisoner was such a great red herring. I seriously did not click on until a few sentences later that this was not Paro but was someone else entirely.

In fact the entire of Yesterday Part 3 was filled with such awesome twists and character moments. From Rudra's insistent pushing of Paro to confess for his sake, to Jasheem's reality to Paro's courageous acceptance of her death. That conversation between Paro and Jasheem was mind-blowing. The extra flourish of having so many of the BSD present for this session was so heartening. Everyone knew that something wrong was happening and even if they couldn't stop it, they could not step aside and ignore it entirely. Paro suffered the most but everyone suffered along with her.

But seriously that last paragraph about Rudra and the BSD breaking through the glass was such a highpoint. The same men who had put her in that room, left her in that room and ignored their conscious, finally realizing the horrible truth and collectively deciding to break through to save her.

And Aman! Oh Aman. Aman Appreciation Party zindabad!

It is simply amazing the way you write. They way you have shown the strong side of Paro. It is so true. Seemingly frail and weak people show such strenght of conviction in trying times !
