In real life, a person suspected to be a terrorist will not be treated with Love. The army will use harsh interrogation techniques...torture suspects to get the truth out of them.

Some of us might find it difficult to read such stories as we know that Parvati is 100% innocent. But from Corporal Khan's perspective, he is just interrogating a suspect.
Rudra...he is confused. In his heart he believes Paro is innocent and hence he suffers when Paro is hurt. But his BSD mind is not allowing him to release Paro without proof that she is not guilty. Tug-of-war...heart always wins at the end.

I am glad that you are brave/gifted enough to write such intense stories.
Really appreciate you for taking time to write amazing stories for us.

Navin, I just read all the 3 parts of this story in one go. I am shaken to say the least. The last part especially got to me, I actually had to take a break in between reading to get my bearing straight again. Dreadful it was. All the more credit to you for invoking such strong reactions in your readers.

I don't know if you remember but I commented in one of the earlier stories of Y&T series on how starkly different the yesterdays and tomorrows are, and how the time in between must have taken a hell lot of work to get t something so beautiful from something so ugly and grotesque. Well that belief just got all the more stronger. Right now I am honestly repulsed by Rudra, but I know you will make him be acceptable in my eyes again.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant writing! :)

Napster,

I saw your update first thing today morning & opened it up in excitement. Then I realized I couldn't stomach it so early. After my day had been sufficiently compromised I forced myself to tread into the darkness. Suffice to say it was quite painful to read so I know how much more painful it would have been to write. Kudos for seeing it through. I for one cannot wrap my head around falling in love with a person who would unleash such cruelty on someone else much less myself. Torment of this scale would surely cause PTSD that all his love & redemption couldn't cure! Writing to you seems t be more than just about words, thank you for sharing ..

OMG!
This was a very chilling, intense and painful update. Even I can't see Paro go through all this. That man is on the verge of killing her.

Baisa--Thank you! Check your PM, I got your email, and I've been all shy and dithering and happy and touched--but I will be responding with a mile long review of one of MY favorite writers' works ( and by that I mean you!) soon!

Well the first thing I have to say after reading this is that you certainly won't be disappointed by a lack of comments on this update! It's definitely provoked a reaction in our lovely forum members so perhaps they weren't put off by the intensity of the last post to comment and instead wanted more? You really do have us all gripped with your writing and I for one have become just as addicted to your work as I have to become to the serial. In terms of the update I felt that while the torture of Paro was brutal and made for uncomfortable reading, it was all very real. As they've shown Paro in the serial get decked up for wedding rituals in beautiful outfits and stunning jewelry, a real suspect or terrorist would NEVER get treated like that. They would face exactly what you have depicted. What I loved is that you balanced out her physical torture with Rudra's mental torture which seems to be just as severe. I loved the part where Rudra could envision every detail of Paro's face the moment he closed his eyes. I feel that little moments like that give us some much needed respite after such intensity, so thank you! Desperately now waiting for part 3!!!

Can part three be where rudra beats the crap out of jasheen khan? 😡
Bhy did you have to whip my poor paro!😭

A chilling truth is that the first order of torture for real life female suspects for terrorist activity would be brutal beatings , rape and violation. Most would not make it past the first few days.

So the whip is a lot more symbolic, although you have taken pains to be realustic! Ouch, napster!

And why do
i feel that paro is untouched by all this, while rudra is mentally in fragments?
