Part 101

Khandelwal's find their time together during the breakfast time, Khanak rushes down, while Shaan and Aayush are already happily enjoying their morning, Khushboo's baby bump is seen, she's glowing and happy..Akshay and sunil are present too, dadi had gone to temple.

Madhvi: Khanak beta slow down..(as she carefully lands down the stairs)

Khanak: sorry mom! Hello everyone (smiles)

Khushboo: Khanak, sit na, have to talk about something..(makes her sit next to her)

They giggle around like little girls, while discussing something..

Khanak: you've got to be kidding me! (makes a face, as she have her breakfast)

Khushboo: kyun nahi? Mom aap hi kahiye na abb..

Khanak: no! listen to me..

Khushboo: nope! Im not listening! (shakes her head)

Khanak, makes a face, now understands how difficult is to handle a pregnant woman, that thought makes her smile broader..come on, its an official way to throw tantrums! (her tongue in cheek)

Shaan notices her change of exressions..

Shaan: kya hua??

Khushboo: Shaan! abb tumhi bolo tumhari biwi ko..(whiny)

Shaan: what?? (looking at Khanak, and then Khushboo)

Khushboo: yahi ki, that even she should join the yoga class like me! (orders)

Khanak: no, your not getting me, aaj se extra hours add ho raha hain..

Madhvi: Khanak beta, but promise me that you'll have your lunch at time?

Khanak: ofcourse mom! (smiles)

Shaan mentally notes her yes, if she didn't have, then she's going to have it from him..He should also throw a fit on her, nahi toh madam, kati hui patang ki tarah udthi hi rahegi! He thinks..Seriously? She's not irresponsible! He also knows that..but still loves to do what he does to her, and she allows him to do that!

They had dropped Aayush at school, and now at the hospital, they both are walking hand in hand and step in step, and at the moment, someone covered Khanak's eyes with their hands, Khanak wondered, when Shaan looked back, his face broke into a huge smile, before he could open his mouth, the person tells him to not to open his mouth, Shaan chuckles and nods..

Khanak: who's this?? Shaan?? (her left hand touches the hand which has covered her eyes)

Khanak: Nisha!! (shrieks) (and in the next moment both are hugging each other)

Khanak: aaww! I missed you! (eyes sparkling, with a huge smile)

Nisha: I missed you too..how are you?? (moves out of the hug)

Khanak: as you can see..all fine! When did you come?? Aur Raj?? Where is he??

Nisha: I just came in the morning, he went to the rounds..(smiles) how are you Shaan??

Shaan: im fine! Glad you came..so, has the venue for the marriage is decided?

Khanak looks eagerly..

Khanak: please tell me its in Mumbai..(begs)

Nisha: why?

Khanak: Nisha! I can't travel..(makes a sad face)

Nisha: don't worry..i'll handle that (winks)

Khanak: seriously?! (happy)

Shaan's phone beeps and even Khanak's..

Shaan: duty calls..

Khanak: yeah!

Nisha: ok then..aap carry on karo, we'll meet after your work..

Khanak and her hug again, and bids bye to each other..

As they enter into the conference room, Hi's are exchanged, Shaan moves to talk with Aman..Khanak is oning her system..Kiya walks up to her..

Kiya: So, Khanak are you ready with the presentation?

Khanak: yep! (fully confident)

Kiya, is shocked, just how did she complete it? Before Kiya could ask..Aman and Shaan walks up to them..

Aman: Kiya, are you ready with presentation? Senior doctors might come at any time..

Khanak is shocked to hear that..

Khanak: what?

Shaan: haan Khanak! We have to present what we are doing, so that we get the approval from many cities and many hospitals..that must help out the trial..(thoughtful)

Khanak: I know that Shaan! (Now Shaan is confused and even Aman too) Kiya is presenting?

Aman: haan Khanak! Koi problem hain kya? (Aman and Shaan are looking earnestly at her)

Khanak: ofcourse hain!

Kiya: hmm..Khanak..(tries to speak in between)

Khanak: ek second! (stopping her) then why the hell did I wake up all the night and work on this? (feeling disgusted, as she fell for Kiya's bait, Khanak shakes her head)

Shaan: Khanak?

Khanak: yes Shaan! I've worked on it! Kiya khud aakar mujhse kaha ki, that I've to present..

Shaan: what's this Kiya? (angry)

Aman: haan! What's going on? Kiya, I had given it to you not Khanak..

For some reason, Khanak finds that bad, why the hell Khanak can't present?!

Khanak: I want to present it! (Before Kiya could talk, even Shaan and Aman could decide, Khanak declares it)

Anjali enters in,

Anjali: Guys, all set? Khanak are you ready? Do you want extra bottle of water? (As she knew that Khanak was presenting)

Khanak: yeah! Im all ready!

Shaan: Khanak?

Khanak: (cools herself down) I know Shaan that im stressing myself! But I guess its time to show what iam really..i take easy on my profession but that doesn't mean that im dull and careless about my..(she just lets it flow, feeling bad, at the same gaining her confidence back)

Khanak: rahi baat kiya ki..i seriously can't share my things with her! For that matter with anyone! This is my presentation and I will do it!

Aman: Shaan..i guess, we have to give Khanak a chance..

Shaan: You're right! Khanak will do it! (smiles at Khanak)

Kiya: But..

Aman: Kiya you're done! Please abb kuch mat bolo! (angry at Kiya)

Aman moves from there..

Shaan: (turns to Kiya) Kiya..you'll see that, my wife will do a 100% good job than you! (with that smug look)

Khanak smiles..Shaan turns back to her..

Shaan: All the best! (cups her face and pecks on her forehead)

Khanak smiles..Kiya leaves from there..

Shaan and Khanak are returning back, Khanak has dozed off, Shaan's driving back to home, he looks at her sleeping form..she has the smile pasted on her face while sleeping also..He smiles looking at her..

Today! She had done that job which he and Aman couldn't even think off..Sometimes when we think of bigger things in our life, we miss out the smaller ones! Those ones which are important and would lead to the ultimate door step of the success!

Today! She was wonderful! At some point, she did feel weak, but she was smart enough to announce a break at that time! Anajali had been a help at that time..Her dreams were still crystal clear, she was still filled with all the enthusiasm, like she was experiencing all this for the first time..The spark which elighted from her eyes, clearly told that she loved her profession and she adored it in a way that her dreams her carrer never came in front of him..She was never into show off..She was not a new person, she was the same passionate, fiery, intense, ambitious Khanak!

She was anything but not irresponsible! She had eaten her lunch too at time! He halts the car to a noiseless halt, gets down, walks to the other side, opens the door of her side, carries her in his arms..Her arms hug his neck and rests her head peacefully on his shoulder..As thought, she knew that she was home! He carried in, it was late, but he knew Aayush wouldn't have slept..He makes her sleep on the bed, she moans loudly when he tries to free his hand from her grip, he stays put..At that moment,

Aayush: mom! (halts his step as he saw her asleep)

Aayush: so gayi? (his face falls)

Shaan: toh kya hua? Main toh jaga hua na! (smiles at Aayush)

Aayush slowly smiles..

Shaan: Aapne khana kaya??

Aayush: no! maine socha ki mom..(stops)

Shaan: (understands that Aayush is feeling left alone) aaj mom nahi! Papa khilayenge aapko..

Aayush: sachi? (looks up at him, as Shaan walks upto him)

Shaan: yeh bhi poochne ki baat hain! (picks him up)

Both of them leave her, Aayush narrates his story of the day, Shaan listens to him patiently..After having dinner together, Shaan makes him comfortable on his bed..

Aayush: papa, mom ne bhi toh kuch nahi khaya..

Shaan: Don't worry jab who utegi toh main khiladunga'aap so jao..

Kisses him good night and leaves from there..

He enters their room, she's lost in her dream world, he just moves out of the room, returns back in 10 minutes, he's back with her food, places it on the table, but he decides not to wake her up, she had eaten 3 to 4 sandwiches before leaving the hospital and had dozed off in the car..

He lies down next to her, cuddles her into him, she happily nestles in her spot..

One month had flewed..Trial had picked up its speed, and about Kiya..she was out of the trial on the next moment itself, Aman never knew that she could grew wicked too, but when he knew that, he couldn't take any more risk, that was it, she was out of the trial, Khanak is now 5^th month pregnant..

Aayush is at his own pleasure, enjoying his time with his parents..After that day, Shaan made sure that Khanak spent more time with Aayush..Aayush can't be more happy than with her..

Raj and Nisha's wedding was nearing..Their marriage would be held in Khandelwal's house, Khanak was nasty and had taken the decision of the venue for their wedding..

Khanak! A bit..just a bit ha..a small baby bump is seen, and her tantrums had increased much lot, only if Shaan considered them as tantrums! Mockery!

And Shaan? hmm..any word that would shout and tell that he was way happy than ever he could be!

Very good!!!😊 Khanak came to know about Kiya and took a stand to present the presentation by herself!!! Which is the right thing!!! And Aman removed her from the group!!!👏

Marriage function gonna begin soon..Cool!!! But why Khanak choose Khandelwal house as a venue and how come all accepted it???😕 Sorry I didn't find that logical!!!

Part 102

He's in his chamber, talking about the trial and its success with Aman..They both were pretty happy, infact adding up new members did help! Especially Khanak and Anjali..Khanak's humor was rubbing on Anjali, Anjali would laugh out loud, while Shaan chuckled and Aman was left wondering, because he was the last one to understand her humor! Can't blame him..Kiya was out of the talk, she didn't attend any after that, as she had got solidly from Aman..

Aman is the person, who would never let anything come between his carreer and his future..the reason for the break of his marriage with Anjali..Lets move towards our couple..

Khanak just barges into his cabin, she looks tired and ready to hit the sack..It was not a late ungodly hour, so Shaan didn't have any clue..

From tomorrow onwards the wedding preparations would start she and Khushboo had got so many things lined up… Raj wanted his parents to shift back to Mumbai, like earlier days..And yes, they were shifted now..Both Nisha's and Raj's parents were in dilemma regarding the venue for the marriage. Raj was taking it off board, Khanak felt he was very jumpy, how can he not be? The guy is getting married in few days! Khanak mocked..

Raj had taken the decision, which had sent Khanak flying up..Raj had announced telling that, his parents were shifting back to their old house, which was near to Khanak's parents house..And had given advice for Nisha's parents to take up Khanak's option and let the marriage take place in Khandelwal's mansion..Sunil was approached first, and he agreed, as that was the wish of his younger DIL..Who can reject Khanak? Khanak mocked once again..ofcourse, in her mind!

Khanak: Shaan aur kitni dair?? (she spoke in a low, drowsy voice. Shaan and Aman both looked at her)

Shaan: I thought you were busy..(wonders, he stands up, Khanak stands next to him and leans on his shoulder, he holds her shoulders, encircling her, now her head resting on his chest)

Khanak: can we go home? (eyes closed, completely leaned over him)

Shaan: Sure! (holds her, looks at Aman)

Aman: ok then..bye guys (smiles) Khanak you are not coming in tomorrow?

Khanak: I don't think so..tomorrow, Nisha's parents are coming, im supposed to be at home, helping mom..(her eyes opened) It feels like its been ages..i mean helping out in household work..(mocks, Shaan chuckles, while Aman stood blank)

Khanak: (understanding Aman's state, she lifts her head from Shaan's chest) Arrey..my husband loves me very much, he never allows me to step into the kitchen.

Aman: Gosh! (shakes his head) Fine bye..

Shaan and khanak both bids him bye..Khanak once again leans on Shaan's chest, his hand now on her waiste..Aman is gone..

Shaan: do you want me to carry you till the car?

Startled raises her head from his chest..

Khanak: Funny! (he laughed) chalo! She dragged him, being the tired one, but still she held the strength to drag him! He let himself dragged by her, hope she doesn't sleep early..he wishes in his mind..

They reached the car, she was buckling her belt, but was startled by his action, he was too near for her comfort, at that moment she lost her voice, she gulped hard, breathing audibly, while he just stared, his hands doing strange things with her hair..

Khanak: What are you doing??

Shaan: you want to know..(more closer, whispers in her ear, and then stares her)

Khanak: hmm ya..(his intensity grew up as his eyes focused on her lips, her throat went dry) I mean no!

Shaan: What?

Khanak: I mean..i've to go home, I mean we! (in a rushed manner)

Shaan: your right! Especially the room! (smiles widely)

She closes her eyes, but he releases her..She leaves out a huge sigh..opens her eyes and looks out of the window, while he drived..

The drive was calm, he teased her more, while she just smiled..She knew, what exactly was the night about, she felt like laughing out loud..She could imagine his face..What he's thinking, won't be happening for tonight for sure! She cleared her throat..Shaan looked at her, she shaked her head telling its nothing..He did notice that smug smile on her face, he wondered..

They entered in, actually both of them were surprised to see the guests..it's Dhruv and Nithya..

Khanak: Dhruv! (smiling)

Dhruv's happy to see his friend, she's happy and glowing, which he wished for her..He smiled too..

Dhruv: Finally! I didn't knew that you've become workaholic..(they both hug, Shaan is just standing and smiling)

Khanak: nah! (twitches, moves out of the hug) how are you?? And how's DD??

Dhruv: im fine! And DD's fine too..(smiles) Hi Shaan! (shakes his hand and a formal hug)

Shaan: hi..how's work??

Dhruv: work? Its just going..

While they talk, Khanak walks to Nithya..

Khanak: Hi..How are you? (casually)

Nithya: Im fine..Thank you! (small smile)

Khanak turns back to Dhruv..

Khanak: When is 'THE DAY' for you two? (looks at both of them)

Shaan: ya..when is the day?

Dhruv: its nearing..2 months later. (sheepish)

Khanak: Gosh! Kab batane wala tha? (upset)

Dhruv: kal hi date fix hui thi..and now (walks to her) im here to tell you! Believe me..

Khanak smiles..Khanak: chalo maaf kiya..(she goes back to Shaan, her hands wound around Shaan's)

Madhvi comes to the living hall..

Madhvi: baatein baad main, pehle dinner. Shaan aaj bhi late?

Shaan: Mom..ask Khanak..Khanak ki waja se late hue..

Startled Khanak looks at him, her hands now on her hips, her face clearly evident telling that she's angry..

Khanak: Mom..i was at the verge of sleeping on hospital bed..(turns to Shaan) That's how long you made me wait! (upset)

Shaan has a fitting reply, but he choses not to tell that in front of everyone, he just stares at her..

Madhvi: tum dono baad main laadna..Khanak aaj bhi bhook nahi hain??

Khanak: hain na mom..usse pehle, where's bhabhi?

Madhvi: apne kamre main, shayad tayyar ho rahi hain..

Shaan: kahan jaane ke liye??

Khanak: Mom, I'll see her and come..

Shaan: Khanak first eat and then meet bhabhi, come on Dhruv Nithya..

Dhruv and Nithya starts to walk near the dining table..

Khanak: Shaan I'll be back in 5 minutes..

Shaan disagrees,

Khanak: ok 3 minutes?? He continues to give that look..

Khanak: arrey baba, I have to climb the stairs speak with her and get down the stairs..i need atleast 3 mintues na..(fussy, adamant)

Aayush comes running to his parents..

Aayush: Hi papa!

Shaan: Hey champ! (picks him up)

Khanak takes the stairs to meet bhabhi..

Shaan: Khanak you get only 3! (firm)

She hears but still acts as she didn't, walks up..

Aayush: Mom has got a punishment? (chuckles)

Shaan: kind off..Aapne khana khaa ya?

Aayush: Nope! Akshay uncle is taking me out..(smiles broadly)

Akshay steps down..

Shaan: im sorry Aayush..i know I must be the one should be taking you out..but..(upset)

Aayush: its ok papa! You see I've grown up! (winks at his papa, making Shaan chuckle)

Akshay: hey..aaj phir late??

Shaan smiles and shrugs.

After few minutes, Khushboo and Khanak comes down..

Khushboo: At what time Khanak??

Khanak: hmm…11: 40 or 50

Khushboo: ok then! (both of them smile broadly and shake their hands)

They are now at the end of the stairs, Dhruv and Nithya are served by Harilal, Shaan's waiting..Even Akshay and Aayush..Sunil and Madhvi had to go out for a get together at a friend's..

Akshay: Khushboo late ho raha hain..

Khushboo: haan toh? Maine todi na mana kar ke rakha hain? Abb chalo..Aayush chalo..

Akshay: yeh lo..late tum karo phir daant mujhe hi pade..achcha hain bhai..

Khushboo: Akshay why are you whining now? Abb chalo bhi..

Akshay: yes mam!

Khanak: Aayush take care of yourself..and ya..

Aayush: I know mom! I'm not suppose to take ice-cream..is that all?

Khanak: ya..(thinks) I guess that's it..(smiles and shrugs) ek minute..ek hug toh dedo?

Aayush: mom!! (whines, but still gives her a hug)

Khanak: Take care!

Aayush: I will!

Khanak: Bhabhi..

Khushboo: Khanak mujhe sab yaad hain..don't worry we'll be on time. (reassures her)

They leave after biding bye..

Shaan: yeh kya ho raha hain?? (he's standing next to her)

Khanak: you don't know?? (takes a seat in the dining table, opposite to nithya, Shaan also sits next to her)

Shaan: tomorrow is THE day na? aaj kya ho raha hain? (serving her)

She makes a face looking at the food..

Shaan: now what?

Khanak: I want something else..(makes a crying face)

Shaan: Khanak not again..You just eat this now, tomorrow I'll get you something good..

Nithya is watching them, while Dhruv is busy with his phone..

Khanak: No Shaan! I want it now!

Shaan: ok fine! What do you want??

Khanak: hmm..(thinking) something nice and spicy..(makes a glorious face, Dhruv chuckled hearing that)

Khanak: (makes a face at Dhruv and turns to Shaan) please..please..please..(begs)

Shaan: ok! You'll get what you want, but if you promise me a thing?

Khanak: (eyes wide opened) what?

Shaan: you'll tell me what your planning for tonight??

Khanak: uugghh! Ok fine!

Shaan: (smug smile) Harilal..(hollers for him, harilal comes with a dish in his hand)

Khanak: you had already told him? Oh wow! Schezwan noodles! (inhales it and dives in)

Nithya: how did you know that Khanak would be asking for something spicy?

Khanak chuckles, Shaan shrugs, Dhruv is just looking

Khanak: im damn sure, he must have told the poor guy to prepare a lot of stuffs..

Nithya looks confused.

Khanak: I mean..Shaan must have told him to make something sweet, something spicy, something sour..you know..(shrugs)

Dhruv: not bad Shaan! intelligent ha!

Shaan: I've been used to it from 2 months..

Khanak stares at Shaan and continues to relish her dish..

After the meal, Dhruv had to take a leave, he just flew off..Nithya was given a room to stay..Nisha and her whole family would be coming in tomorrow for the whole wedding thing.

Khanak is in kitchen, Harilal had long gone, reading something which looked like a recipe, trying to understand or may be trying to memorize each and every part of it..

A sudden gasp is let out by her as a pair of manly hands wound around her waiste..

Khanak: Shaan! You scared me..(calm downs herself)

Shaan: (his chin resting on her shoulder, hugging her tight from back) Kya kar rahi ho? I was waiting for you..(nuzzles her neck)

Khanak: Shaan..i've to work..kya kar rahe ho?? (panting hard and her eyes closed)

Shaan: I guess, you've forgotten..its night! (whispers in her ear) And you know that I can't sleep without you..(kisses on her ear, his hands moving up and down on her arms, while hers have clutched the book)

Khanak: Shaan..(unsteady)

He makes her turn around, she opens her eyes he cups her cheek with one hand and the other held her waiste..he slowly bent down and claimed her lips by his, diving deep in her, losing herself in him, melting her down, scorching fiery path on her, making her nerves to shot the electric discharge..He lifted her up not leaving the contact with their lips, she moaned and clutched his shoulders tightly..

After about an hour and half, its past 12, Khushboo, Akshay and Aayush had returned half an hour ago..Aayush is asleep or may be not..

The door to Aayush room opened slowly..like extra slowly, one by one everyone entered slowly, the whole Khandelwal clan..

SSshhh…!

Aayush had his back to the door, Khanak and Shaan were the first ones to come closer to him..

Shaan: Aayush..(whispers)

Khanak: Shaan..What are you doing?? (hisses)

Shaan: Aayush kho jaga raha hun aur kya?

Khanak literally slaps her hand on her head..She takes a step closer, and..

Aaayyyuuussshhh! (all the others yelled, while Shaan closed his ears)

Aayush shot up on the bed, and everybody including Shaan yelled…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AAYUSH!
