Sorry to go off-topic but I need say this. Satyabama was not his favorite queen, not in his heart anyway. The Guruvayoor Krishna temple in Kerala has this tradition called tulabaram (tarazu). According to the story, Satyabama was very jealous of Rukmini and wanted to prove that she was more dear to Krishna. So krishna decides to have a contest. He asks his sevaks to bring a tulabaram (tarazu) and sits in one. He asks Satyabama to fill it with things on one side of the tarazu and make it equal. That is, the things she put on the tarazu should be equal to his weight as he is sitting on the other side of the tarazu. Satyabama keeps filling it up with all kinds of things but it does not equal Krishna's weight. Then he asks Satyabama to remove all the stuff she has put there. He calls Rukmini and asks her put something to equal his weight. Rukmini picks off a few leaves from the Tulsi plant nearby and places it on the tarazu. Lo and behold! the tarazu becomes equal to Krishna's weight. Satyabama learns her lesson.

Praphulla is also older than Gurmeet I think. Ankit can be one of the Pandavas because you cannot have Krishna's story without the Pandavas and the Mahabharat war in it.

I happen to agree with Chen2chic - I too have read about Satyabhama being Krishna's fav, not Rukmini. The Tulabharam incident was just there to demonstrate a lesson about the name of god being greater than god itself, but it in no way reflected who Krishna's favorite was. When Krishna went out on his campaign against Narakasura, he took Satyabhama with him, and once, it was Satyabhama who asked Draupadi how she managed to satisfy 5 hubbies when Krishna's 16108 wives couldn't satisfy even him. Draupadi taught her accordingly, and likely, that was how Satyabhama worked her way into being Krishna's favorite.

If these characters were transfered to the Dwapar Yug, I think Gurmeet would be a fine Krishna, Debina would be a fine Satyabhama, the Sumitra here would be a fine Rukmini and the Chandrasena (of Ahi-Mahi) would be a fine Jambavati. Mandavi would make a good Draupadi, while 'Dhanya' (there she is again 😆) would make a good Subhadra. I'd make 'Kaikeyi' here Devaki, Jaya Ojha here would be Kunti.

Balaram would probably be best played by Praphulla, given that Praphulla combines both the physique and fury. Vijay Bhatia would make a good Pradyumna, while Ankit would be a good Satyaki, and 'Shatrughan' would make a good Arjun. Akhilendra would be a good Jarasandha, while Rakesh Deewana would be a good Kamsa. I'd also have Pankaj Kalra playing Shalva. Can't think of a good Shishupala from this cast.

Radha was never a wife of Krishna - something one would conclude by the use of the adjective 'other' to refer to Krishna's wives. In fact, she was already married to someone else when Krishna seranaded her, but their friendship was just that. This is the first I'm reading of Radha being the one to tell Krishna's wives on how to keep their husband happy.

As an aside, I'm surprised that Lakshmi, who incarnated as Rukmini, agreed to have co-wives to Vishnu. Wouldn't that have been a humiliation for her?

Exit question: In the treta yug, Vishnu preceded Sesha-nag, but in the Dwapar yug, the opposite happened. Are there any stories as to why?
