Addressing the confusion, Gaurav clarified that the viral portion of the video is not recent. Speaking to Zoom, he explained that the vlog was filmed over a month ago while he was traveling to his hometown during the winter season. Because the video was uploaded much later, people assumed it reflected the current situation. “Actually, this is being blown out of proportion. It's from a vlog which was recorded nearly 40 days back, when I was travelling to my hometown in winters, but it got released some time back, so people thought it was a new recording. It isn't,” Gaurav said.

The actor also confirmed that the matter has already been settled and that he has received the complete prize amount. According to him, there was no dispute involved, and the timeline he mentioned in the vlog was simply part of a general explanation about how television payments often take some time to process. He urged people not to misinterpret the clip or create unnecessary controversy around it.

“I have, in the meantime, received my full prize money. Also, in TV, the timelines take some time, which I have clearly mentioned in the vlog without blaming anyone. So kindly, please avoid hyping this up,” he added.

With this clarification, the actor put an end to the rumours circulating online. Gaurav continues to enjoy strong support from fans following his victory on Bigg Boss 19, and he remains focused on new opportunities that have come his way after the show.
